Adobe Cloud app manager failed to download.

I just subscribed to adobe cloud. I followed the instructions to downlooad the cloud manager; but i got a message stating download failed and retry, which i did to no success. I am on a new imac using mavericks. How do i get back to the download screen to try and download again. As of now I have no way of downloading any of the cloud apps.

Jp67 you will want to initiate the download trough the Creative Cloud Desktop application.  You can find more details at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.
Also if you continue to face download errors please try an alternate Internet connection.  If you are on a wireless connection try a wired connection.  If you are on a wired connection try a different cable or a different source for Internet access.

  • Why can't I download my Adobe Cloud apps

I uninstalled my Adobe Cloud apps in anticipation of receiving my serial no. for my Adobe Creative Suite 6DS. However it's taking some time and I'd like to re-install my Cloud apps while I wait. However upon clicking on any of the Download buttons I receive the message:

  • Have CC programs installed already, but when I open Creative Cloud app Manager it only shows CS6?

Have CC programs installed already, but when I open Creative Cloud app Manager it only shows CS6?

OK thanks - I tried that, would not let me remove the OPM.db file as in solution 2, i uninstalled CS6 versions, i uninstalled Creative Cloud desktop app and then downloaded latest and installed - however, with continual workload, I am not about to remove all Adobe software as suggested in Solution 4!  Even in the Creative Cloud app where it shows install new apps, there are only CS6 versions showing?
I have just uninstalled creative cloud app manager again - go to download latest version and the message is - we are currently experiencing problems, please try again later.

    Hi,
I recently subscribed to the Creative Cloud. All applications from the App Manager downloaded and installed successfully, except for Lightroom 5, with the error message below. • Adobe Creative Cloud App does not show downloaded apps and shows "download error"

I am not a full paying member just yet, and have been using Photoshop on trial for my graphic design courses. With the app, instead of showing me that my 30 day trial is over, I get a download error and contact customer support message. I have completely deleted and redownloaded the Creative Cloud App twice already, but am not sure how to fix this problem so I am still unable to download my free trials before purchase.
How can I fix this problem?

  • App manager failing in trial version download

I get a message that my Adobe app manager is corrupt and must be reinstalled while attempting to download a trial version of InDesign CS6. If I delete the app manager and attempt the download again, will it then install the proper version?

You may want to cancel out the download and start the process again.  Where did you choose to download the install files too?
Alternately you can follow the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download.

  • Why would creative cloud app manager be not responding?

I have just downloaded Creative Cloud and installed.  Initially I was able to navigate to the app manager and started the download of Photoshop.  It downloaded correctly.  I then later went back and opened and tried to go to the app manager and continually now get a not responding message.  That has been over the last two days.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Creative Cloud and still am having the same issue.
I've not began my subscription for the products because I want to make sure I can use them before I make that decision to buy them.
    Any suggestions are appreciated.

I am running windows 7 professional.  Browser - Firefox but also have IE.
I have disabled anti-virus and allow Adobe access via the firewall.
I have again tried a download into the cloud desktop app and get a no response.  The error details are as follows:

  • CS6 was working fine until App Manager failed

I got a message to run updates on April 18; I obeyed meekly, but the process hung for some unknown reason.  Since then, I have been playing ring-around-rosy with Adobe Support and they seem not to be able to read my chats nor understand on the phone. At first, the entire suite was completely unusable.  I  have since uninstalled; used the clean up tool; uninstalled all prior versions of the Suite (CS4 and CS5, which I still used), and completely reinstalled.  I have deactivated and reactivated; uninstalled, cleaned and reinstalled repeatedly - as demanded by several calls and chats with Adobe Support.  Now, App Manager and Support Advisor both fail - the former with an initialization problem and the latter because it insists on Adobe Air that I have also installed repeatedly but which it does not seem to find.
Finally discovered that to make MOST of the suite work, I had to manually change all of the various folder and file permissions to force admin execution (even tho I am an admin) AND add security for Trusted Users.  Now, of course, I have to confirm that I want to execute as an admin each time, but that isn't my biggest headache.
Current HUGE headache is the problem with Acrobat ProX that requires that in order to save as PDF from Word or Excel (which I must do about 10 times an hour), I must
    start Acrobat
    start task manager
    kill both acrobat.exe and acrotray.exe.
THIS IS FOR EACH SAVE! [Thanks to the person who suggested this solution on another discussion!]
I have now updated 2 chats with this problem, but each response refers me (in exactly the same language) to a page that tells one how to solve a different problem for Word 2003 and Acrobat 3 and 7!
    Any help would be appreciated.

Judycbarlow the fact that you are having to adjust file permissions could indicate that the permissions for your current User account may have become compromised.  As a test can you please try creating a new local administrator account and see if you face the same difficulties.  Also what version of Windows are you using?

  • Any Create Cloud App update fails with U44M1P7

I am trying to update my Create Cloud apps using the Creative Cloud Desktop and no matter what app I try to update I get the Update Failed and the Error is U44M1P7.
I really don;t feel like uninstalling all my CC apps and reinstalling them everytime this happens. Is there another solution? Thisis not for CS6 apps but CC apps using the CC desktop.

  • How do I download an app that failed to download when the App Store says all Unfinished Downloads are downloaded?

I purchased a 16GB game 2 days ago and the app failed to download (error said to check Internet connection, which was fine). I tried to redownload it multiple ways: Checking for unfinished downloads (all purchases have been downloaded), in my Purchase history (app is listed under Other purchases with a gray button that has no text and the button doesn't work other than giving a hover/click indication). I've tried trashing the various .plists/caches/cookies to no avail.
I've searched my computer, looked in the dock, looked in launchpad, app definitely is not there.
I am not running any anti-virus software. I'm running 10.7.4.
When I initially purchased this game it wouldn't download, but the downloading icon did show in Launchpad. I used the recommendation of deleting it from Launchpad and restarting and that started the download. It had downloaded over 6GB when I went to bed, but I awoke to the failed download error.
    Thanks for the help.

    Hi ..
Did you check your Applications folder ??
    See if this helps...
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed  then click Install.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
    I purchased a 16GB game
Which app did you purchase ???
