I was using several adobe creative cloud CC applications for a while without difficulties. When opening adobe illustrator (indesign was running well at the same time), I was informed that I was using an evaluation version ?? then I encountered difficulties to connect to my adobe account but finally manged to acces ma adobe account. But, now adobe cloud manager is totally blank. I tried to install it completely another time but same pb with the new installation and no application works anymore... Anyhelp will be welcomed !...

Lolopyrene how did you re-establish a connection to your account?  What did you end up modifying?

  • Adobe cloud manager will not open

I have adobe updates waiting but the creative cloud manager will not open from desktop icon. The tile is missing from the start menu. I have recently upgraded to win 8.1. Can this be the problem?  If so how do I fix it?

I am a Mac User, with everything updated and ready to go!
That's merely a bold, but unsubstantial statement without any realworld value. You have not provided any useful technical info like what Mac actually and what version of OSX. If it doesn't even make a blip in safe mode, something is terribly wrong...

  • Unknown Server Error - Adobe Cloud Manager

Does anyone know the "true fix" for those of us that have Adobe Cloud Manger -- and get this error "Unknown Server Errror" when they try to log in, you are denied access because it says to try later.
I tried all the fixes Adobe has offered at this link. And, it did not work http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unknown-server-error-launching-cc.html.
I called and talked to tech support who gave me a temporary fix:
They said, create a new User Account on my laptop, sign in as that user, then download the Cloud Manager again, Log in.. And Yes, VOILA it worked.
Then they told me to delete the "test" user Account after I  log in as myself agian -- and all would be well.
That's not exactly true. If you delete the USER account including all traces of files -- your are right back to where you were.
Which is, unable to launch the Cloud Manager under your original User ACCOUNT on your laptop.
I understand that I could keep the files from the alternate "Test User Account".
However, The thing is.. I pay a lot for this service, and I do not think that I should have to fix a bug that ADOBE should be fixing -- by creating a second "Test User Account" on my laptop.
Sorry for the rant --  with that said. Has anyone solved this puzzle? Thank you for your help.
I'm just sayin' Come on Adobe -- Really, Really, No Really.

I changed my ID with new subscription of all the CC product, but the Manager doesn't recognize what i have installed, so when i try to update, install or uninstall the apps, i can't.
I already try with CC cleaner, but doesn't work...

    Anyone can help me?

  • How can I get the Adobe cloud icon to load on my desktop

I can not get adobe cloud management tool to down load on my desktop.

  • Adobe CC desktop app is completely blank and OOBE folder is not the solution

Just bought a new mac pro and transferred all my setting/apps over via Migration Assistant. Adobe programs worked directly after transferring. However, after rebooting nothing worked. I can't remember the specific error messages because it was days ago but I think it kept asking me to install Adobe Applications Manager. Tried that and nothing changed. Tried uninstalling CC, running CC Cleaner Tool, and starting over with a fresh install. Now the desktop app installs but stays blank with no way to login or anything *EXAMPLE. Tried the OOBE folder trick *SOURCE and that doesn't make any change. Also, I have logged out from Adobe on my old machine.
Any help here would be extremely appreciated! Thanks

    Seems to be working again...!
So after restart it looked the same... in startup tab it showed the cloud manager. But was not running. Went to my downloads folder where I still had the installer downloaded before my windows restore (the one downloaded yesterday was deleted after windows restore was done). Ran the installer and exually did something this time! It is installed again. At first it looked like it wanted me to download all the programs again even though I checked if they where still working... they did. (via bridge checked updates said they where all up to date).
Changed the language in the prefs panal under apps to English. Now it all looks like before I ran into this issue.
Not sure... But my guess is that it had to do with the latest windows update.
So... no need for a chat with support anymore
But... I do hope adobe will update the cloud manager asap so I can update my windows again.

  • Adobe Download Manager Creative Cloud.

I’ve been back and fourth with customer service about an issue I’ve encountered after installing creative cloud, more specifically in the downloading stage. Most of the trouble-shooting steps have failed, and although I have not completed them all, I want to see if someone I the adobe community can resolve this issue.
I’ve been attempting to install creative suit on my laptop which has
windows XP version 2011 service pack 3. My internet browser is Mozilla
Originally when I purchased the subscription and after installing attempted to download the actual software to my computer and I was left with an error message stating: “the remote server is not responding in a proper manner. Please retry after a few minutes”. I did and same result.
A customer service rep provided me with a link to a patch.
Once again the install of the program worked but once I managed to get to the download part of it a new error message appeared
“Adobe Download Manager is corrupted and must be reinstalled. Download now (which I did and it takes me to the page with the patch which i was already provided), or contact customer service”.
I returned to customer service and was provided with the creative suite cleaner. I cleared out the original installation and (just in case) uninstalled my trial software Adobe Ill. (which, by the way I have no issues whatsoever installing any trial software. My only issue is with this.)
I installed adobe creative cloud again, install went well once again the same error message has before appeared (the file is corrupted) I can’t figure this out, and it’s killing me. I have on my computer an old version of photoshopcs2 and adobe flash 11 active X (I don’t know if that matters). I’ve tried many different alternatives, went has far has created a new admin account on my computer to see if that will do the trick, yet still left with that dreaded error message. I really hope someone can help me resolve this.

KittieKatNY2013 it sounds like you are experiencing network configuration issues with the Adobe Application Manager.  If you are on a managed network please work with your I.T. department to ensure that the Adobe Application Manager/PDApp.exe has proper access to the Internet.
If you are on a non-managed network then please see Sign in or activation errors | CS6, CS5.5 Subscriptions, CS6 Perpetual - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html which discusses several common causes for the difficulties which you are experiencing.

  • Adobe application manager keeps opening and will not allow me to install creative cloud

Adobe application manager keeps opening and will not allow me to install creative cloud. I am trying to sync fonts and the install is not working. The adobe application manager will open on its own and not allow the creative cloud app to install. I do have other creative cloud products installed however the creative cloud installer icon is not appearing in my toolbar nor does creative cloud show up as an app. I get an error message that I must have creative cloud installed when I try to sync fonts via the type kit to photoshop.

    Hello ducky,
as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)
I quote: ... helps resolve installation problems for Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Suite (CS3-CS6) applications. The tool removes installation records for prerelease installations of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications. It does not affect existing installations of previous versions of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications.
Please use: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html  and follow the prescribed sequence of operations
Sometimes the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.
If necessary and for further questions and if "open" please use chat, I had the best experiences.

  • Creative Cloud App breaks Adobe Download Manager, doesn't install apps, now I'm unable open apps

This has been the worst cloud app experience I've ever seen.
First of all the CC app overwrites the Adobe Download Manager to the point where you'll never be able to go back to it again.
I would normally be OK with this, but the CC app doesn't work and closes itself instantly, rendering it completely useless and unable to install any of the CC apps.
After an hour and 20 minutes between being on hold, and speaking with support, I have no solution.
I'm now at a point where I have no apps installed, and I can't install any new apps because the CC app doesn't work, and the Download Manager will either a) error if CC app isn't installed, or b) open the CC app if it is installed (which doesn't work, and instantly closes).
    Overall, it's a disaster

    Hey Jason,
I'm wonder if it might help to start fresh,
    Uninstall any Creative Cloud programs
Control Panel > Programs & Features (Windows 7)
Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs (XP)
Mac HD > Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers (Mac OS X)
Run the cleaner tool to ensure everything is removed
    http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
Reinstall the Creative Cloud desktop app from https://creative.adobe.com/products
    Reinstall applications
It will be a lot of work but it will probably fix it.

  • Creative Cloud - Adobe Application Manager...download of Flash Builder 4.7

I have a $49.95/mo Creative Cloud for the past few months and began a download via Adobe Application Manager of Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 yesterday afternoon around 4pm.  It is
now 9:25am the following day...17+ hours later and the download is at 74%. ..I'm still letting it continue downloading.
In my frustration, I downloaded a non-Creative Cloud copy of Adobe Flash Builder 4.7...and on the install I am now being prompted with 3 options:
    1. Install with a serial number
    2. Start my subscription
    3. Install a trial
As I'm paying the $49.95/mo for the full Creative Cloud subscription, I would prefer not to "install a trial".  Based on the download rate of the copy of Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 via the Application Manager, it won't complete until sometime this afternoon at best..  Is there any way I can convert my non-Creative Cloud installed copy of Adobe FlashBuilder4.7 to be under my Creative Cloud Subscription?

If there is an option to License this Software then you can enter the Adobe ID tied to your Creative Cloud subscription.  If not then you will want to wait until the download completes in the Adobe Application Manager.
You may also want to review Sign in or activation errors | CS6, CS5.5 Subscriptions, CS6 Perpetual - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html as something appears to be interferring with the Adobe Application Manager from downloading at the expected speed.

  • Creative Cloud Desktop frozen/spinning wheel after updated version April 22,2015; Adobe Application Manager won't sign in either - Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10.3

I cannot update any apps via Creative Cloud Desktop Application just prior to nor after the April 2015 updated.
I've tried everything listed in support forums, including:
    uninstallation
removal of the AAMUpdater and OOBE folders in both the user and system libraries
use of the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool
enabling the root user and cleaning everything out there and reinstallation from the root account
and reinstallation of both the Application Manager as well as Creative Cloud Desktop...multiple times.
I've also tried out the instructions to uninstall Java and reinstall the latest version of Java.  I have looked through every iteration of these issues on several support forums, and tried everything that has supposedly "worked" to get Creative Cloud Desktop back up and running.
I am on Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10.3.
I also can't sign in via the Application Manager, with message that I am not connected to the internet.  I can launch the versions of Photoshop CC 2014, Illustrator CC 2014, Lightroom 5, etc., but when I try to sign in to any of those applications, the Adobe Application Manager launches, asking for a sign in, and then won't connect...no matter what.  I have tried doing this from the root account with the firewall temporarily disabled as well.  I do not have internet connection problems whatsoever, and all other applications, browsers, etc., can reach all aspects of the internet just fine.
The most peculiar thing: I have another Creative Cloud installation on my MacBook Pro with the same version of Yosemite, and everything is loading and working just fine, with all the latest updates.  Duplicate installation for my laptop, and yet my iMac with the same installation won't work at all.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
I've attempted to repair permissions the usual way, as well as through a complete cleanup via Onyx.  Still no dice.
Creative Cloud Desktop was working previously, for quite a few months (with the occasional "can't connect" and inability to load the App Update panel, which seems to plague the software constantly anyway...but at least it worked intermittently) well after I installed Yosemite.
This is a more recent issue...just a few days ago...before installing the update, as well as after.

How to correct corrupt adobe application manager

    Hi,
If you are a Creative cloud member then you can completely remove Adobe application manager from Adobe suite cleaner tool which can be downloaded through http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html and install our new Adobe Creative cloud from https://creative.adobe.com/https://creative.adobe.com/products.
Or else you can also downoad Adobe application Manager 7.0 instead of Adobe creative cloud from the following links:
