Adobe Connect Open GL Issues & connection Problems

Hello again,
I figured I would pass on these two Connect links that shows the challenges that I have been having with Adobe Connect.  The first shows me teaching the Pen tool to a class  and notice that the path does not show up in Connect.  This was brought to my attention by a phone call by one of my students.
The second is the Dave Cross presentation.  In the beginning I had a heck of time getting him connected.  We tried several browsers and had both video and audio connection challenges.

It sounds like a network issue. You say you have connected in different locations, did you connect in a location where others were not having the issue? Could your IT staff work with you to identify why you may be having connectivity issues?
If everyone was experiencing the problem, then I'd be inclined to say it was an issue with your Connect account, but being isolated to you, it seems like the problem may be local. Sometimes wireless routers get overwhelmed in busy environments, and may cause some individuals to see temporarily lost connectivity. Other times it may just be a wireless router going bad. If you are hard wired, then it may be router that is beginning to fail. Be sure that when you test other locations, you are connecting to different hardware.
Since you are running the add-in, I don't believe the browser should make any difference.

Keep getting the error "We are experiencing an issue connecting to the Adobe Color CC servers" every time I try to access Color CC, I am signed into the Creative Cloud.
Has anyone else had this problem?

I have been getting the same issue for about a week now. However if I create a new Adobe ID with another email address, that email doesn't have the issue. Does anyone know what might be causing this? I have tried clearing cookies and using multiple browsers and nothing seems to work.

My iPhone 4 with iOS 6 is making me start to hate Apple. Any App and at any time I open and I can not view it or move for more than 2 minutes, they close themselves. During connections, it also gives this problem and the signal disappears after a few seconds back but often the person on the other end has hung up ... I can not stand it anymore, someone suggests something?
Besides these problems, there is the battery, which was bad got worse, she is not lasting more than 10 hours, even without using the phone.
Sometimes it even seems that the problem was solved, but my joy did not last long after I celebrate all the problems return, is incredible ...
    thanks.
    Sorry my bad Inglês.

  • Adobe Bridge and CS5  open when iPad connected

Why does Adobe Bridge and Downloader open when I connect my iPad? I cannot find in Preferences any way to toggle this off. HJZ
Message was edited by: Harry Zemel1

The same thing happens when you connect an iPod Touch.
    Here's the solution:
    1) Plug in your device; when Adobe Bridge pops up, just close them.
    2) Open Image Capture app on your Mac (not sure about PCs), bottom left side says, "Connecting this (insert device name here ie. iPod or iPad) opens:"
    3) select No application.
    Done!

This is the Reader forum. Are you sure there is an Adobe program called Beyond Adobe?

  • Adobe Photoshop opens automatically when iPod or iPhone connected.

OK, who has a solution for me? I have my iTunes preferences set to NOT download photos to/from iPod or iPhone. Yet, after the last iTunes upgrade/update, now Adobe Photoshop automatically opens and searches for pictures to download/upload. How can I stop this very bad behavior from iTunes/Adobe Photoshop?

I seriously thought that I was the only one with this problem. Since we both have it though, it's more than likely having something to do with the upgrade. It's really annoying because I have it(the ipod) set to just get pictures from "My Pictures" folder which it does, but for some reason, Adobe Photoshop opens up as well. If anyone has any suggestions on how to stop this from happening, we will greatly appreciate it.

  • Adobe Ideas – Sync Process: Awaiting Connection

I've seen many issues with Adobe Ideas and it having syncing problems, but I can't find an actual answer other than "servers were messing up, better now," and people saying that helped.
I'm running Adobe Ideas on an iPad 2 Wi-Fi, running iOS 7.1.2.
When I open Adobe Ideas, the Cloud icon and the left and right arrows are white. less than a second later, the arrows gray out. When I click it, it says "Sync Process: Awaiting Connection."
If I turn the Wi-Fi off and back on and then revisit the app, it tells me that the sync process is complete.
I've tried to send to Illustrator, but I don't actually know what that means. I thought that might mean that it would send it to my CC files, but that didn't happen.
I downloaded Adobe Draw in hopes that I could import the files, but apparently the files have to be on Creative Cloud to begin with—kind of a ridiculous situation when one would assume that if you have both apps on one device, you could move files between them.
Any help on getting this to sync to CC would be appreciated.

It's a shame you haven't had a reply to your post. I am in exactly the same situation. I suspect support for Adobe Ideas might have been withdrawn to the point where Adobe would prefer not to acknowledge its continued existence. I can no longer find the app in the store, and am eternally thankful to still have the version prior to the most recent update, which apparently includes a reminder, each time it is opened, to migrate to Draw.
I think synching between Ideas and CC must have been disabled at source, sometime earlier this year. The last time it worked for me was in February.
I find Draw clunky and awkward, with a file system that is so untidy and badly organised it beggars belief. It's also impossible to export pdf files other than via a stiff monthly payment for Adobe software.
At the moment, although I can't synch to my creative cloud account, I can export  PDFs of my Ideas files by email, which is what I do. I keep all my files duplicated outside Ideas. Unfortunately, the folders I created on CC for my existing files, which were synched to my Ideas app, cannot now be added to, or even deleted, though they can be renamed.
I just wish I could somehow safeguard my version of Ideas so that I could transfer it to any future iPad I might buy.  It is so perfect for my needs I would pay for it ten times over if I had to rather than have to adapt to using the 'free' Draw.
I bought idraw  as I thought it might be a good alternative to Ideas. It has great file storage, and the priceless ability to import and export vector files, but I found it insanely complicated. I haven't mastered enough to do a simple line drawing yet.

  • Internet connection dropping out throughout day; problem NOT with provider

My computer's connection to the Airport Express base station has no problems at all. But the internet connection goes out literally dozens of times a day (at no predictable schedule); this has been happening for almost a month. I originally thought the problem was with the internet provider, but I'm now beginning to think that either my settings are wrong, or that I have a corrupt file somewhere. Here are the details:
I connect via a cable modem (Time Warner - Road Runner). I know people have had problems with Time Warner, so I assumed that was the issue; however I've had 3 service calls and they've checked signal strength inside and out, and swapped out the modem and the cables. I don't think it is simply problems in our geographic area (i.e. greater Los Angeles) due to the fact that the Internet fails sometimes 40-50 times daily, and the problem began when I upgraded from an old Airport base station to a brand new Airport Express about a month ago.
The airport/internet connection is shared 3 ways: two MacBook Pro computers and one iPhone. My Airport's internet settings are as follows:
    Configure IPv4 using DHCP.
DNS Servers: 66.75.160.63 and 66.75.160.64 (note I have already tried swapping these for OpenDNS -- this did NOT solve the problem)
    Domain name: socal.rr.com
    DHCP Client ID: [blank]
    Ethernet WAN port: Default-Automatic
Connection Sharing: Share a Public IP address
    DHCP Beginning Address: 10.0.1.2
    Ending Address: 10.0.1.200
    DHCP Lease: 4 hours
    NAT settings are all unchecked
One of the main reasons I believe that the problem is with my computer's settings or a corrupt file is that I can fix the problem whenever the Internet "goes down" almost 100% of the time by doing the following: after loading Airport Utility, I make ANY trivial change (i.e. changing the DHCP lease from 4 hours to 5 hours) and then click UPDATE to refresh the Airport base station. This fixes the problem almost 100% of the time. But then, anywhere from 10 minutes to 3 hours later, the Internet connection goes down again. [Unplugging the power from the modem, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging it back in ALSO fixes the problem almost 100% of the time, until it goes out again a little while later.]
Also, I have tried disconnecting Airport and connecting directly to the cable modem via Ethernet. The problem remains exactly the same -- I can connect, but then the connection fails soon after. Unplugging then replugging the modem fixes the problem temporarily. So I do not think the problem is a defective Airport base station, nor do I think it is the modem (which has been replaced), nor Time Warner.
I can't think of what else to try -- but any advice would be greatly appreciated -- it's impossible for us to work with the Internet constantly going out throughout the day, every day.
    Thank you!

  • Remote Desktop Connection and printing issues

    Hi,
I am using Windows 7 on my desktop and also connected to Windows Server 2008 R2 to run applications in Windows Server. However, I noted there is problem with the printer issues. Sometimes, when I tried to print some documents using applications
in Windows Server with my local printer in my room connected to desktop, it won't work.
Moreover, I need to go to Windows Server, Component Service to restart printer spooler so it will work again. This is a pain.
I also noticed there is about 30 seconds wait to process any document to print.
Unlike if I print documents directly from my local desktop computer running Windows 7 and connected to local printer, it only takes seconds to print.
My desktop is connected to Windows Server 2008 via local area network. I should not expect such a significant delay in printing.
I also wonder why printer spooler needs to be restarted when printer is not working.
Can anyone advise me about this? Can Microsoft looks into this problem and release updates to fix the bug to improve the system?
    Thanks
    Regards,
    Clement

    Hi,
Please check if you turn on this settings:
You need to set this up just before you connect. The setting will be saved so that you won't need to change it the next time you connect.
    1. Open Remote Desktop Connection by clicking the Start button, clicking
All Programs, clicking Accessories, and then clicking
    Remote Desktop Connection.
2.Click Options, and then click the Local Resources
    tab.
3.Under Local devices and resources, select the Printers check box.
4.Click Connect to start the session.
Make sure that you select your printer in the Print dialog box each time you print.

  • Beige G3 boot from **** problem; open firmware issues; bad motherboard?

    Dear all,
I'm having huge boot/startup problems with my beige G3 that had been happily running OSX 10.3.9, but for purposes of this discussion we can (mostly) revert to OS 9. Originally, the machine was a G3 @300; was upgraded more than a year ago to a ZIF G4 @500.
To make a long story short, it won't boot from any hard drives, will not boot from any OS X CD, and will only occasionally boot from a 9.x startup CD (whether Apple or Norton Utilities). I think it's an open firmware issue, possibly caused by a bad motherboard (rev. 2).
All this started happening after I used techtool pro, but I think that's coincidence (even though I acknowledge that, for cops and computer users, there are no coincidences.) Also, as discussed below, I'm having the same problems with an HD that wasn't even in the computer when all these things began.
Here are some of the things I've done.
--repeatedly reset PRAM, both with key combinations and removing battery. The only time it will boot from a 9.x CD is after resetting PRAM.
    --removed all add-on PCI cards.
    --removed additional VRAM
--removed all memory cards and tried replacing one at a time.
--disconnected both existing hard drives and replaced with an older OS 9.x hard drive (approx 60 mb) that I'd used before. Also tried different ribbon cables.
    --unplugged floppy drive
--disconnected PCI ATA disk controller that I'd been using for running a large (1.8 gb) hard drive.
--regarding open firmware: readenv usually shows totally normal default AND installed settings. Using reset-all works fine -- at least it makes the machine reboot, but doesn't solve the problem. reset-nvram does NOT work -- says it's an "unknown word."
--using startup keys like holding down the option key, or shift key, or X key or cmd-option plus two others I can't remember, has no effect. Again, after I've tried any kind of reboot, the ONLY way to get the C-key at startup to boot the CD is by resetting the pram (key combination). Otherwise, the usual result of these experiments is a dark screen on startup -- nothing at all (and the LCD monitor tells me "no input.")
--regarding OSX: sometimes (and I emphasize sometimes) I can get the machine to start booting from an OSX 10.2 CD, but it won't complete the process. Sometimes I get a "prohibited" (as in no-parking, no-smoking) icon; sometimes it will start booting (grey screen, OS X Apple icon), then crash (horizontal grey and white jagged bars); sometimes it will show the OS 9 start icon (the tiny smiling Mac SE), but not boot at all.
--when I get the mac successfully booted with an OS 9.x CD (again, this works sometimes, but not always), the old hard drive with two partitions does show on the desktop and can be accessed. Using either disk repair or Norton Utilities shows the 9.2 system partition on the hard drive to be fine. But if I go to the startup disk control panel, confidently set the 9.2 partition as my startup disk, then reboot, there's no change. It won't boot and I'm back at square one.
--even when I do get successfully booted with 9.x, the machine will still occasionally crash for no reason -- ie when I'm moving a Window.
--the only thing I haven't done is slowed down the processor. It's a ZIF G4 bought more than a year ago from XLR8 your Mac. I'm running at the default 500 mhz, and it's never given me any trouble.
So I think it's a bad motherboard or ROM. Thoughts?
    Thanks.

The beige Mac is now operating happily again. My original tentative diagnosis remains the same (although still tentative): corrupted PRAM from bad battery, compounded by bad cables that wrote corrupted data to hard drives, and also (possibly) allowing Tech Tool Pro (a utility that I now regard with deep suspicion) to create a "virtual" startup partition.
A few things I've learned along the way that hopefully may be useful:
--remember that the Ex Post Facto utility can be used to help OS X startup, not just installation. This applies to hard drives, emergency CDs, installation CDs, etc. If you can boot into any working hard drive partition (OS 9 or a backup OS 10), then run Ex Post Facto (same program runs on either OS 9 or X -- don't ask me how) and tell it what system you want to start up from. Also, the utility has sometimes told me that the startup extensions on the disc that I wanted to boot up from were bad, and offered to fix them (which works).
--at least on my Mac (beige, v. 2 motherboard), resetting the CUDA button, resetting the PRAM, resetting Open Firmware and "draining" the memory by unplugging the computer and disconnecting the battery for several hours ALL DO DIFFERENT THINGS.
Specifically, if I'm having trouble booting (from a hard drive or a CD), the FIRST thing I do is restart and resetting the PRAM on the fly -- holding down command, option, P and R at startup, and waiting for the chimes (preferably at least 3-4 times).
If I do that and DON'T hear the chimes, that's my cue for my SECOND action -- restarting into open firmware (command, option O and F keys on startup). That should bring up the black text on white background open firmware screen. View other posts or apple support for details, but if you do PRINTENV and see a bunch of weird gibberish after the default/installed lists, you know that it was messed up and you need to clear it through reset nvram and reset all commands. Be aware some of these commands do or do not work depending upon what version of Open Firmware you have.
After I've rebooted with Open Firmware, then on restart I should be able to reset the PRAM on the fly. If that works, then either let the machine run and see what happens, or hold down the C command and see if it will boot from the CD
Usually, if I've fixed everything as above, the machine will boot into whatever version of OS 9 it finds on a hard drive. That's fine with me -- at that point, use Ex Post Facto to reboot into your OS X. (Before I forget: I used the shareware startup CD creator program BootCD to make an emergency boot CD based on OS 10.2.8 (which theoretically will support a beige mac in native fashion) and Disk Warrior, the god of disk repair utilities. Even though the CD should boot just by holding down the C key on startup, it doesn't -- but if I use Ex Post Facto to boot it, no problems (although the process is very slow -- be patient). Then I can fix almost anything using Disk Warrior.)
If none of the above works, then I'll try resetting the CUDA (on my beige minitower, it's a very small black button inconveniently located between a PCI slot and the side of the computer housing). Hold it down for 15 seconds. That should REALLY clear the PRAM. I know this does something different from the previous steps because this is the only action (except the battery disconnect -- next) that clears the date and time from the memory.
If all else fails, I will unplug the computer and disconnect the battery, then push the CUDA button for 15 seconds and let the machine sit overnight.
One final finding -- I thought I'd fixed everything, but both my hard drives suddenly quit working, I discovered that during all this repeated connect/disconnect of things, one of the male pins inside one of the connectors on my Acard ATA PCI card had broken off. Not good. Fortunately, the card had a second connector, which works fine. And I did some extensive shaking of the computer to make sure (I hope) that the broken pin hadn't landed on a circuit board.
All this took more than two weeks, and the advice of this board was much appreciated. Now I'm on to my next adventure -- trying to figure out why a combo Firewire/USB PCI card won't mount an external drive on Firewire, but will on USB. I've tried two cards with same result -- but a Firewire-only card works just fine.)
    Regards to all,
    Graham

    Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

  • 5.1.0 sp11 Connection pool refresh issue, revisited....again...!!!

    "Hello,
From reading of these newsgroups I've seen many different manifestations
of what seems to be the same root cause with connection pools and
connections which are refreshed/replaced when found broken. In our
    case weblogic server hangs.
    Kit: 2xWeblogic 5.1.0 sp11 (not clusterd), Solaris 8,
java 1.3.1_01, 1xoracle 8.1.6, latest JDBC 2.0 drivers from oracle. Each weblogic instance and oracle have their own machines.
We do indeed have a firewall employed to run our subnets, and hence
our weblogic servers and oracle databses are in different DMZ's, but are
allowed to communicate to each other via rules set up on the firewall and
inspection of the logs show no such connections being dropped.
As far as the db is concerned, lookups (no writes) never take more than a few
hundred milliseconds and are then closed and given back to the connection pool
immediately from within the 'finally' block of code, hence hard to see when,if ever, the db is
is closing them due to excessive idle time.

    driver=oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver,\

Please find attached a copy of the jvm thread dump we got from thelast time
that weblogic blocked upon trying to refresh a broken connection.
We have turned off JIT with the environment settingJAVA_COMPILER=NONE.
FYI hotspot is enabled with '-hotspot', these settings can be foundin the
attached 'startWeblogic.sh'.Hi. I found a serious problem by reading the thread dump:
    "ExecuteThread-11" daemon prio=5 tid=0x179d40 nid=0x19 waiting for
    monitor entry

    at com.akqa.sainsburys.jv_recipe.ejb.session.RecipeBean.getConnection(Re
    cipeBean.java:759)
It is important to never call DriverManager methods in a multithreaded
    application
such as Weblogic, because these JVM methods are alloverly synchronized
    at
the class level. One such method, DriverManager.println(), is called
    continuously
by all JDBC drivers as well as the SQLException constructor. If one
    server thread
makes a long-lasting or hanging call to DriverManager.getConnection(),
    it can halt
all JDBC in the whole JVM including work on other open driver
    connections.
Please show me the code for RecipeBean.java, and I will send you an
    altered version
that should solve this problem. In fact, I can infer from the thread
    dump what is needed.
Change the one method getConnection() to this:
// Make once and re-use a driver instance directly, avoiding
    DriverManager
    Driver d = (Driver)class.forName("weblogic.jdbc.jts.Driver").newInstance();
    public Connection getConnection()
    return d.connect("jdbc:weblogic:jts:yourPoolNameHere", null );
Also, change your pool definition. I assume you have
    testConnsOnReserve set to true.
(You should). Also, you should change your refresh minutes to
    something huge, like
9999999. The refresh is interfering with your online performance and
    is unnecessary
if you have testConnsOnReserve set. I recommend:
    weblogic.jdbc.connectionPool.RecipeDBPool=\
    url=jdbc:oracle:thin:@foo:1521:BAA,\
    driver=oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver,\
    loginDelaySecs=1,\
initialCapacity=50,\ <------ note that this should be the
same as max, so all cons are made at startup
    maxCapacity=50,\
    testTable=dual,\
    testConnsOnReserve=true,\
    refreshTestMinutes=9999999,\
    etc.
    Joe
I've also attached some firewall logs around the time of weblogicblocking
(12.09). I could only get screen dumps for you, this may or maynot be
    useful.
For the firewall logs use the following legend :-
    195.110.64.205 - DNS
172.16.160.195 - host webserver 1 (i.e. what our licenses are boundto)
    172.16.160.196 - host webserver 2
    172.16.160.220 - website 1
    172.16.160.230 - website 2

Thanks for your time.sure, but first let's get you running OK. These dumps seem to be

Fequently however, connections are found to be broken
(either by periodical refresh - refreshTestMinutes or
testing connection before granting it to the
application - testConnsOnReserve=true), this has been
    confirmed by viewing JDBC.log .
When this is so, weblogic attempts to replace these
broken connections with new ones and then proceeds
to grant it to the application. Once in a while however
(and by no means 'x' refreshes later), weblogic will not
    come back.
One of 2 errors occur in our deployment which cuase weblogic
    to refresh a connection.
<JDBC Pool RecipeDBPool> java.sql.SQLException: No more data to read fromsocket
    and
<JDBC Pool RecipeDBPool> java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: Broken pipe
I believe these settings to all be correct, JDBC drivers
in the correct point BEFORE weblogic.aux in classpath, yet
still have the issue of broken connections.
Any ideas ? I've been reading a lot into this probelm

  • WORKLOAD ANALYSIS (INTROSCOPE DATA) - Error when opening an RFC connection

    Hi all SDNers,
Help is needed on error "WORKLOAD ANALYSIS (INTROSCOPE DATA) - Error when opening an RFC connection".
This error occured on RCA -> Extractor FWK administration and go to managed system (PI) and from the log, i can see some extraction failed due to error message " Error when opening an RFC connection"
consequently, JAVA performance data is not appearing in RCA -> workload analysis but work fine for ABAP and adapter engine.
I've followed below notes and perform the troubleshooting step by step by still to no avail:
Note 1332428 - Missing data in service sessions from BI/CCDB
Note 1257308 - FAQ: Using EarlyWatch Alert
    Note 1274287 - End-to-End Diagnostics 7.0 EHP1 SP18 to SP27
Note 1265070 - Diagnostics - Setup of Managed Systems
    Note 1010428 - End-to-End Diagnostics
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SMSETUP/WorkloadAnalysis-Noapplicabledatafound
    steps that have performed:
    restarted agent
enlarge RFC resource cap for solmandiag and none
delete entire SID in SMSY and pull again from SLD, re-setup managed system
    restart PI system
i've spent 2 days on troubleshooting this issue but lack of information in SMP and SDN, even in google.
in table E2E_EFWK_STATUS and extractor E2E_JAVA_EXTRACTOR_IF, i see all WLI_ID ended with RC 96, MESSAGE = Error when  opening an RFC connection and LASTRECORDS = 0
I strongly believe this is the issue that causing no applicable data found for JAVA data.
fyi, we are on SOLMAN EHP1 SPS27.
Any kind advise is most welcome.
    Thanks,
    Nicholas Chang

Gosh! at last i found the solution!!
I appreciate those who tried to help and i''m sharing the solution as i believe this is the purpose of SDN Forum and help others Netweaver Chap who facing the same problem:
    Problem faced:
Extractor failed intermittently for WORKLOAD ANALYSIS (Introscope Data) due to error message "Error when opening an RFC connection"
Due to the above error, performance data is not available in RCA workload analysis for J2EE engine.
    Possible Solution:
    1) Ensure both webadmin & SOLMANDIAG RFC working fine -> SM59 -> TCP/IP
    2) go to SE16 -> E2E_RESOURCES and change the resourcecap to 10 for SOLMANDIAG
    3) go to /smd/services -> Diagnostic System -> Advanced Setup -> Abap connectivity -> Connection Configuration and change server count to 10
    4) Restart webadmin (step 3 & 4 can perform in VA too)
    5) set gw/keepalive &  gw/reg_keepalive to value 0 in RZ11 (without reboot of instance)
    5) again go to SM59 -> TCP/IP -> SOLMANDIAG and put in the gateway host and gateway service correctly, don't leave this empty!!!! -
    > This is the main solution to solve intermittent failed RFC for extractor.
Now, go back and monitor the extractor log and you should see no RFC error anymore and wait for 1 hour for the data to populate.
    Thanks!
    Nicholas Chang,

  • Re-connection opens new window

This is a scenario I face regularly. I open SQL*Developer connections and have it open for few days. During this, if we have a db bounce, then I have disconnect and reconnect all my SQL Developer connections. Re-connecting is understandable, but they all open in new windows. The existing wondows are useless. Why can't SQL*Developer re-connect from an existing open window (which is usually full of queries)?
Re-connecting from an existing open window is such a basic feature available in almost any xyz tool that I don't think this can be even qualify as a feature.

    Hi Sue,
While I was talking about automatic reconnection instead of reconnection in general, -K- has highlighted some of the issues with the current manual reconnection process (manual "detection" of lost connection, manual disconnect, manual connect).
Given that some earlier versions (1.1 to 1.5?) did attempt to automatically reconnect (although it did have problems), I assume that this is functionality that the team thinks would be good. As it is not in the current version, I kind of assumed that it was too hard to get working well and was taken out.
For what it is worth (even though this is probably not the ideal place to reiterate this), my preference would be for SQL Developer to automatically detect the lost connection (when it first attempts to use it after it is lost, rather than proactively) and to provide the user with an option to reconnect (including whatever is required for open tabs to be able to be left open and still work) or disconnect (as if selecting disconnect). If this could be done, then I would also see that we could make a Reconnect option available on the connection pane, for the cases where we want to reconnect a current connection and don't want to go through the reopening of all the same tabs, etc.
