Adobe Connect Registration with Credit Cards

Anyone who is reading this board and is interested in having a registration module for adobe connect that can take credit cards is welcome to contact me.  I have a solution and would be intersted in working with existing users to refine and enhance it.  Thanks in advance.

    Hi, I have an issue with Adobe currently. This has happened twice now during my one-year CC subscription. I had to cancel my credit card due to fraudulent charges not associated with Adobe and as a result wasn't able to update my credit card info or make my payment because I hadn't received my new credit card yet. I received my new card on Monday and TODAY, I received an email saying this:
    Per your request, we have reactivated your subscription to Creative Cloud. It's a pleasure to welcome you back! Sign in to access all your membership features.
    I logged in to my Adobe account to see that I had been successfully charged my monthly amount and even verified that I had been through my bank account. The disturbing issue is that I NEVER logged in and updated my credit card info with Adobe to make this payment, I never authorized this payment, nor did I request my account to be reactivated.
    HOW DID ADOBE GET MY NEW CREDIT CARD INFORMATION??
    This happened previously as well and I just shrugged it off as me forgetting that maybe I had updated my card info, but this time, I know for sure that I didn't. So again, how was my new credit card information obtained by Adobe? This makes me want to forego using Adobe products ever again if no one can give me a clear answer to this.

    Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go.     The iTunes gift card field is optional, you don't have to fill it in - leave it blank if you don't have a gift card.
    iTunes gift cards are country-specific (they can only be used in their country of issue), and they are not available in all countries - so you might not be able to dill it anyway.

    Has anyone found a solution to the problems Adobe Connect has with Windows 7?

    Sounds like something is blocking network traffic. I'm not aware of any Windows 7 specific issues. I've used Windows 7 with connect for 2 years with no Windows specific issues.
    I'd call support at 800-945-9120 and see if they can indentify the issue and give you a resolution.

    Would you maybe be getting a credit card transaction data file format from American Express? Oracle does provide a loader program for the American Express KR-1025 format. After you load the credit card transaction data, then you validate the data. Once validated, employees can enter these credit card transactions on expenrse reports. Though this does not sound like an expense report situation, so perhaps this won't work out for you. So another possibility would be to handle this like a manual payment process. As mentioned in another post, you could look at another payment document type. So you have some choices here. Make sense?

    I need to find out if I can send multiple apps in the form of gifts to people who do not have itunes accounts(connected to their credit cards).
    Is that possibile?
    My goal would be to be able to send an app to someone who can then either right on their ipad or though itunes download the app without entering any credit card information or having to login to itunes.

    Every time I try to buy an app it says that the session timed out. I'm connected to a credit card. It won't let me download the app.

    What does "it won't let me mean"? It's much more helpful if you actually tell us what is happening when you try to use the card.
    Did you redeem the card properly in the App Store or in iTunes  - at the bottom of the screen in the main tab of either app?

  • Problem with credit card verification with firefox 4 (works with safari!)

    I recently upgraded to Firefox 4 and tried to book train tickets online. I have done this many times before with earlier Firefox versions. Now however, after being redirected to the card verification page and submitting my security details, instead of confirming my booking Virgin trains asks me to log on again! I thought it was a problem with the website but I subsequently booked the tickets using Safari so I guess that means there is a problem with Firefox 4. Can I go back to the previous version?

    I, also, have previously made credit card purchases with Firefox version 3 without any problems.
    I only encountered this problem with credit card verification after downloading Firefox 4. I was however able to book tickets successfully, the same day, using Internet Explorer and the card verification went through as normal. I am confident that the problem was due to problems with the new version of Firefox.

    What do you mean 'give me an example please' ? And 'dont have use a credit card' ?
    Unless you follow the instructions on this page when creating a new account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534
    then you will need to enter credit card details before the account can be used in the store.
    If you don't have a credit card then you will need to create a new account, but this time follow the instructions on that HT2534 page when creating it. If you want to use the same email address then you will need to replace it on that account first e.g. via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, http://appleid.apple.com, or by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone.

    Adobe's system is set up to make it VERY difficult to stop charging your credit card AFTER you cancel, CALLED and CANCELED, call and CANCELED AGAIN
    Our annual accountant caught that the charges were still being charged.  Our book keeper (my spouse) thought that Abobe was one of our systems charges and it did not raise a flag until October 2014.  We canceled at the end of MAY 2013 when our off site designer at their own office said that illustrator was better for him for the work we need and we no longer needed to use PSD .  Month to Month means you can cancel when you want.  The agreement is very clear that we can cancel PRIOR TO THE RENEWAL DATE.  ADOBE PS  is a great program, we love it, we DONT love being charged for 27 extra unauthorized months 29.99 = 809.73 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.  Adobe can see the service has NOT been accessed or has not 1 minuet of use time on any dat for 21 months.  When they did not cancel I had a 1 hour 25 minuet RECORDED conversation to cancel the service in November of 2013.  I was assured this time it was canceled and refunded.  We trusted the manager we spoke and did not see the charges for  Our accountant whom filed our personal taxes first week of October 2014 for Tax Year 2013 discovered the charges were still there.
    We have called in October 2014, November 2014, December 2014, January 2014.  Our company attorney said to dispute all charges from first date of cancelation.
    A friend with the SAME issue of Adobe charging after canceling recommended this forum.  ADOBE ARE YOU READING THIS ???

    16) January 23rd 2015 called Adobe to tell them we were filing a suit against for charging our card for 21 months of over charging with NO AUTHORIZATION!!  Still have not heard back in 34 days.
    18) February 27th 2015 I was given this forum to try to bring attention to ADOBE and the horrible awful practices they have.
         Adobe will see that not one single minuet of time has been used of their online access from our account.
    ADOBE, PLEASE CREDIT OUR CREDIT CARD ON FILE FOR   27 extra unauthorized months 29.99 = 809.73 !!!!

    You have Acrobat Pro on your system. It will try to open PDFs, and of course it will fail. You must uninstall it. Then, you will need a PDF reader. So install Adobe Reader. That seems quite simple, but perhaps something is wrong. If anything goes wrong with these two steps (1) uninstall Acrobat Pro (2) install Adobe Reader, then please let us know the details.

    1. iTunes won't offer cloud downloads for songs that it "thinks" are in your library, even if it "knows" the files are missing. If you've exhaustively searched for the missing files and there is no prospect of repair by restoring to them to their original locations, or connecting to new ones, then delete that tracks that display both the missing exclamation mark and are of media kind Purchased/Protected AAC audio file. Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.
    2. Why? Not sure, perhaps 3rd party tools or accidental key presses combined with previously hidden warning messages when trying to organize the library. There is a hint that using the feature to downsample media as it is synced to a device may also be involved, though I've not replicated it. Whatever the reason a backup would protect your media.
