Adobe Create PDF desktop

I can not print docs to PDF after installing the Adobe Create PDF desktop.

Hi Mark ,
Instead of a physical printer, you can select Adobe PDF in almost any Windows or Mac OS application.
Follow the steps mentioned below.
Open a file in a Windows application.
Choose File > Print.
Choose Adobe PDF as the printer in the Print dialog box.
Click Print.

    I have a 35 page pdf of construction plans for a project I am working on. I would like to print 6 of these pages into another pdf to send to my printer. When I select paper size ARCH D (24" x 36"), the pages are printed into a "file" file ..... there is no pdf or other designation and it is unreadable by Adobe. The origiinal 35 page set of plans is in 24 x 36 size.

    It tells me to create a printer on my desktop. My HP Photosmart D110 Series Printer/Scanner is all that shows up in the START/DEVISES & PRINTERS Box. This Acrobat Reader came with my laptop new, four months ago. Just back from overseas & installing now.
    I need help w/ the "Configure Printer" Screen I can't find it anywhere except the example "Configuire Printer Port Screen."

    You can access ExportPDF from your computer more quickly in three ways:
    You can download and install the CreatePDF Desktop Application. More info is here. With this application, you can drag PDF files onto a desktop icon and have those converted to Office files. (If you subscribe to the CreatePDF service, this application will also allow you to create PDF files.)
    You can download and install the newest Adobe Reader and access the service using Reader's Tools Pane on right. Then, any time you have PDF open in Reader, you can (with a couple of clicks) convert that PDF to an Office file.
    You can drag the webpage icon from your browser to your desktop. This will create a shortcut to the ExportPDF website on your desktop. Here are some instructions for doing that using Internet Explorer or Firefox.

    Hi all!
    I have a minor problem with Adobe Create PDF printer. I installed and I was able to print couple word docs, but stopped working.
    I dont know why. I am still able to print web pages and others, but cant "print" pdf from word, ooutlook, Autocad, etc.
    It is stopped working correctly after I tried to print from Autocad, also I have had problems with activating my Photoshop sub and Adobe support made same changes to my AAM and Photoshop, may be that is what caused my problem, I don't know, neither does support. Support has no other idea we went thru every detail but still can't use Create PDF correctly.
    Any ideas?
    I have already installed this hotfix:

    But still no solution.

    Since you have a PDF Pack subscription, you can create PDF files either via the web interface at cloud.acrobat.com, or from within Adobe Reader. But regardless of where you create the PDFs, they are stored in your online Acrobat.com account (but you may download them to your computer, of course). You can access them by logging in to cloud.acrobat.com.

    What is the difference between purchasing Adobe Acrobat Pro and subscribing to Adobe Create PDF? Can either of these be used / installed on more than 1 computer?

    Acrobat is a much more feature-rich application than the CreatePDF service. 
    CreatePDF is a web-based service that can be used for, as the name implies, creating PDF files from virtually any format.  You also get the ability to convert existing PDF files to Word, Excel, or Powerpoint files.
    The EULA for Acrobat states that you can install a single license of Acrobat on up to 2 computers.  The implication being that these are both your computers and that Acrobat is licensed to you, individually.
    The CreatePDF service can be accessed from virtually any computer that's hooked up to the internet.  Your subscription though is limited to your personal use.

    When you say "you can't convert," do you mean that you get an error message (if so, what is it?). Are you able to log in to ExportPDF?

    There's nothing to download. Just start using it!
    For example, log in to http://createpdf.adobe.com/
    or click TOOLS in Adobe Reader XI.
    (There is an extra printer driver you can download and use, but it isn't needed for Word documents and such).

    When selecting files to combine files you can reorder files.  However, reordering pages in each file cannot be done in Combine Files tool.
    Adobe Acrobat has the feature to reorder pages in PDF file and other page edit features such as adding/deleting/inserting/extracting/cropping.
    You can upgrade your subscription to Acrobat Plus (please see more information at https://www.acrobat.com/acrobatplus/en/home.html).  Or you can download Acrobat XI Pro trial version (good for 30 days) from www.adobe.com.
