Adobe Creative Cloud connectivity issue on Websense run network; Failed to send the request to server to get the response - 12002

Hi all,
I am able to install the Windows Adobe Creative Cloud application fine on Windows 7 box but the application fails to establish a connection with Adobe server/-s.
We use a proxy with Websense as our network security solution. Proxy configuration script is set in Internet Options. We have not tried to whitelist anything as per http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/proxy-authentication-support-creative-cloud.html as the errors suggest the application does not even connect to the proxy server/Websense at all.
Please see below snippet from that DLM.log file that contains the error messages - please have a look. Could anybody tell me what it means or advise how to resolve this please? I don't see the Adobe Creative Cloud tool to have any options where manual proxy settings can be setup to try that.

    If uninstalling and reinstalling is not resolving the Muse installation issues then you may want to remove all Adobe Creative software and run the CS Cleaner tool.  You can find details on the use of the CS Cleaner tool at CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html.
    There maybe another option which you can explore but this will be dependent on if you have any other Adobe Creative software installed?  Do you have any other Adobe Creative software installed on your computer beyond that which is included with the Creative Cloud?

  • Adobe Creative Cloud Computer Specs

    My office is getting ready to move to Adobe Creative Cloud. I'm currently running CS5 Production Premium. I'm not computer tech savvy, so I'm concerned my current set up will run CC.
    Here are my editing PC's specs. Could someone let me know if it is ok in the current configuration to run CC?
    Specifically, I had heard initally there was an issue with the nVidia Quatro 4000 card.

  • Problem with Creative Cloud Connection Preview app Mac

    I can't get the Creative Cloud Connection preview app to download on Mac OS 10.6.8. The option doesn't show up in AAM and I keep bouncing back and forth on the website when I click Learn More. Is there something I'm doing wrong or not doing? I've got files in Creative Cloud that I can access through the website, but it's a real pain to have to download/upload every time I want to work on them.
    I've attached a screenshot of AAM and the desktop app doesn't show up.
    Anyone else experience problems with this?

    Just building on to what Rave say's, even if the applications are not showing under "Force Quit" they might be running in the background therefore I would suggest you to check the same application under "Activity Monitor" and quit the applications from there if they are running.

  • Problem with Adobe Creative Cloud software for PC

    Good Evening,
    I have a problem witg Adobe Creative Cloud software for PC
    I have Windows 8.0 x64. I downloaded few apps using the Creative Cloud software and had to restart my computer due to the pending windows updates. After I restarted my computer, the software didn't work proprely. When i launch it, the cloud icon is gray and when i click on it i can only see the title and nothing else (white space) Each time i close it, Windows says that application caused an error and it need to be shutted down. I tried reinstalling the Creative Cloud software multiple times and it didn't help. Is there any other way to install the software without using the app ?

  • Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop is showing a blank screen at every launch (have tried multiple CleanerTool and OOBE-related methods)

    **Background:** My computer, installed with Windows 7 is 2 weeks old. Yesterday I installed Creative Cloud Desktop, Premiere Pro and After Effects on my computer and everything went *absolutely* smoothly, not a bump. I did about ten hours work using these programs. Later that night, when I was about to go to sleep I went to my room and pressed the power button on my PC thinking I had left it on (just my memory, it had no lights on or anything) but it started turning itself on. Being tired, I immediately pressed the button again (I'm fairly sure the interval wasn't long enough for it to start updating).
    This morning, I turn it on and Startup Repair appears, which recommends that I System Restore. So I do. It starts up fine this time, but said programs are gone and briefly I freak out about having lost all my work but the kind people in the reddit techsupport IRC chat here reminded stupid me of what I had forgotten, files stay in a System Restore.
    **Problem:** So, I go to reinstall Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop. First of all, it fails to initialises (I had to go into Safe Mode to find out exactly what the problem was) but I used the Cleaner Tool and it completed the install eventually. But, when I start up the program, it briefly shows the loading symbol before going to a *completely* white screen, nothing on it at all. I have since used the Cleaner Tool again after the program being quite adamant about not being uninstalled, restarted and reinstalled and still, same problem. Then I searched through https://forums.adobe.com/message/5553596#5553596 and performed every solution in there, including changing the name of the opm file, changing the name of the OOBE folder and deleting the OOBE folder (all while the Creative Cloud app is not running including all processes killed). I uninstalled using the Cleaner Tool and reinstalled in-between all of these attempted solutions.
    This has basically eaten up my workday so far.

    I took another look at the creative cloud cleaner instructions and realized I wasnt running it correctly. I read the instructions too quickly. I got it up and running. I had forgotten to run as administrator.

    During the update (via the application manager) the installer requests that I close the following application (Adobe Creative Cloud Connection) to continue!
    ...But if I close the Creative Cloud Connection, I close the Application Manager and the update! Aaaarrrrggh - Please Help,!

    Unfortunately this didn't work. Seems I've got some sort of conflict going on. I can't even uninstall the cloud connection without the same message appearing!
    The uninstaller is also asking me to close the connection to complete the ininstall - which in turn will close unstaller. WTF

Under 'Preferences' click on 'Account' tab where you will see 'Sign out' button. Once you click on this button, it Signs out from all the Creative Cloud applications.
    The other simple solution is: Once you launch any Adobe Creative Cloud application like Photoshop or Indesign, choose "Help" > Signout. Even this step will deactivates all the other CC applications.
    Later, when you launch any application, it would say that it is running in trial version and will prompt you to enter your credentials.

    ダウンロードしようとすると、ダイアログが出るので「アプリケーションの起動」を選択。
    すると、Adobe Application Managerが起動するので、そこでCreative Cloud Connection
    の「アップデート」を選択。すると、半分インストールした所で
    続行するには、次のアプリケーションを終了してください:
    - Adobe Creative Cloud Connection
    [アップデートをキャンセル][再試行]
    と表示され、ここから先に進みません。(再試行を押しても同じ)
    ちなみに、このアプリは立ち上がっておらず、実行中なのはAdobe Application Managerだけです。
    もちろん、このアプリを使ってインストール中なので、これを強制終了するとインストールは中断します。
    バックグラウンドでCreative Cloud Connectionが起動しているのでしょうか? それとも、名前は違いますが、同じソフトなのでしょうか? 同じなら自分をアップデートするのは難しそうですが……。
    アップデートのしかたを教えて下さい。

    I opened my Adobe Application Manager, and I saw there was an update for Creative Cloud Connection and pressed update.     I have Retry 50 times, and it says the same.
