But when I want to open an App, the little 'opening up' wheel continues to run. The app does not open. What to do?

    Hi Annalisa_radicchi,
Are you installing creative cloud desktop for the first time?
Please check under Applications >Utility > Adobe Installers, if Adobe Creative Cloud is already present.
If it is present then please try to uninstall it using Adobe Cleaner tool.

  • Creative cloud downloading, but not opening properly

I have a one year membership for the creative cloud, so I downloaded the app. However, when I try and open it it is blank (I have also tried adding photoshop and lightroom to it, but they don't show at all). All i see is a black screen when I open the app. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Nothing happened. Any advice?

Jabby702 which operating system are you using?  I would recommend trying solution 2 in CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud App does not show downloaded apps and shows "download error"

I am not a full paying member just yet, and have been using Photoshop on trial for my graphic design courses. With the app, instead of showing me that my 30 day trial is over, I get a download error and contact customer support message. I have completely deleted and redownloaded the Creative Cloud App twice already, but am not sure how to fix this problem so I am still unable to download my free trials before purchase.
How can I fix this problem?

  • Can someone please help me with creative cloud. i does not open

    please help

Just in case the component being referenced is not part of iTunes but is rather part of one of the other related programs, it might be worth trying a complete uninstall/reinstall of iTunes and related componentry, as per the following troubleshooting document:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

  • Adobe 2014.1 Not Showing in Adobe Creative Cloud App

    Hi Folks,
I previously opened a similar discussion. Re: 2014.1 App Updates Not Showing Up in Creative Cloud. The solution in the aforementioned discussion does not work in this new context.
    1. Reimage laptop with clean Mavericks 10.9 install, with Adobe CC preinstalled using CCP 1.4 and pre serialized.
    2. Enter my Adobe ID into Adobe Creative Cloud App. My Adobe ID has a valid CC subscription.
    3. Adobe 2014.1 app updates do not show up, except for Muse 2014.
    4. The Adobe Creative Cloud App did not think that Photoshop or any of the other Adobe CC Apps were installed, because I was given the option to "Install Photoshop"
    5. So, I "installed" Photoshop from the Adobe CC app. Still no updates
    6. Uninstall, reinstall. No updates.
    7. Checked for the existence of AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat in
    Location: <Startup Disk>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdaterInventory/1.0/AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat
This file does not exist on my system: it's just not there. So that fix will not work.
    8. And yes, I logged in and out of Creative Cloud, and Quit the Adobe CC app and restarted. No luck.
    Help.
    A.

I am not sure about the CC Packager so the following is more general:
What version of PS do you actually have installed?
PS CC 2014.2.1 is the current version.
Here are links to various updates to see what the current versions are:

  • Adobe cloud manager will not open

I have adobe updates waiting but the creative cloud manager will not open from desktop icon. The tile is missing from the start menu. I have recently upgraded to win 8.1. Can this be the problem?  If so how do I fix it?

I am a Mac User, with everything updated and ready to go!
That's merely a bold, but unsubstantial statement without any realworld value. You have not provided any useful technical info like what Mac actually and what version of OSX. If it doesn't even make a blip in safe mode, something is terribly wrong...

  • Downloading adobe creative cloud on OSX 10.9

I have a new Macbook Pro with OSX 10.9 and cannot download Adobe products from their Creative Cloud. Keep getting error "Creative Cloud Installer" cant be opened because it is not downloaded from the Mac App Store. Any suggestions? Adobe doesn't have a clue!

It looks like your current Security settings are set to only allow applications to be downloaded ftom the Mac App Store. To change your settings to allow you to download and install applications from anywhere (just be careful!) all you need to do is go to System Preferences->Security & Privacy-> and then you'll see in the bottom half of the window an option of where your Mac is allowed to download applications from. I'm running Mountain Lion OS X 10.8.5 and my screen looks like this, I expect 10.9 Mavericks to have a similar option, just select the option 'Anywhere' and you should be good to go with your Adobe CC applications. Hope this helps.

  • Downloading adobe creative cloud onto macbook air

I want to add my subscription to adobe creative cloud (currrently using it on my desktop mac) onto my macbook air. Adobe says it doesn't comply with its system requirements. My macbook air is around 3 years old so I am not sure which of the following are amiss:
    • 64 bit Intel processor
    • OS X (I know this is up to date)
    • 2 GB RAM (8 GB recommended)
    • 2 GB hard disc space
    • 1024 x 768 display (1280 x 800 recommended)

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
    Read > http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/tech-specs.html
As you can see, your MacBook Air is only compatible with some Adobe Creative Cloud apps, but not with all of them. For example, your MacBook does not support Adobe Photoshop CC, because it requires a GPU with 512 MB of VRAM or more, and a 3-year-old MacBook Air has not got a GPU that meets this requirement. This may prevent you from installing it, and if you can install Adobe Photoshop, some features will be disabled
