Adobe Creative Suite 3 Licensing problem?

Recently I purchased a new computer (an iMac w/ Maverics installed) after my previous computer (an iMac w/ Snow Leopard installed) crashed. My problem is that after getting all of my creative suite 3 design premium products onto the new machine via My Passport ( I had purchased it legally prior to the crash) and trying to use them, I'm getting a " Licensing for this product has stopped working." error. I know I have to uninstall all products from the previous machine, but the old machine is pretty much down for the count so doing that is impossible. On the bright side, I still have the CS3 Serial Number. Any suggestions?

Rauletta you may still be able to recover your installation of Creative Suite 3. I would recommend utilizing the uninstaller located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. Once you have ran the uninstall you will then want to run the CC Cleaner Tool to help ensure complete removal. Once you have removed Creative Suite 3 you can then obtain a fresh copy of the installation files at Download CS3 products.

Tech support is not normally available on weekends. You should contact them as soon as the weekend passes and pick up where you left off with them.

Recently I upgraded from snow leopard to Mavericks . Since the upgrade my Adobe Creative Suite 4 will not launch any programs. I downloaded adobe license recovery it says " this program is no longer supported " .
At this point I am ready to go back to snow leopard if that will fix the problem. What do I do ?

When I start any program in the suite the error message, "Licensing for this product has stopped working." I restarted the computer and tried again to run Photoshop and the same error message appeared. The message was followed by a message that stated that I needed to contact Adobe technical support and mention Error: 150.30. I need Adobe technical support to provide me a solution for my problem so I can continue using my Adobe products installed on my computer.

Unfortunately when Adobe products are restored from backup, especial CS4 and especially Mac, it breaks licensing.
There is a python script included in the license recovery kit that should work if you are familiar with Terminal.
If not, you must reinstall your CS4 suite. You don't need to delete your preferences, so it should be the same as before.

Hi, I am having a problem installing Adobe Creative Suite CS4. I have uninstalled CS3 and installed my new CS4 and it installs fine. I go to open one of the programmes such as InDesign and I get an alert message "Licensing for this product has expired". I used to have a trail version, so uninstalled that too and still get the same problem, is there anything I can do?

I went into the PC settings and tried to change the display resolution. This changes the size of all the icons (not only Adobe) but it does not solve the problem when I open an Adobe application (Photoshop or Illustrator)... The PC is run under Windows 8.1 and my display resolution is 3200x1800 (but again, when I change the settings for a smaller resolution, only the size of the icons is affected. Once I open the software, the problem is still there, extra-small toolbars...). Help!!!

Anything before CC is not high-DPI compatible. Feel free to continue to experiment with your system settings.

Can anyone teach me how to turn off the adobe acrobat speed launcher?
When I was loading the disc a prompt appeared asking me to disable it.
Being searching the net but nothing helps.
I just kept having problems installing this software and my computer does qualify for it's requirements.
I even deleted every adobe file just to install this but nothing helps.
Any ideas how I could install this right?

(I give up. I am calling for the helpline.)

The licenses are operating system specific, so one option would be to retain use of the Windows machine you had before the Mac.
If you want to try to use the older stuff on your new Mac you can try installing Windows emulation software such as Bootcamp.

I tried downloading from the available downloads but the product code i have doesn't work. Where can i find a CS5.5 design standard student and teacher licensing download?

There is no specific version designated for student/teacher versions, the software you get is the same as any other 'version'... the serial number is what designates the version status. You might have used the wrong product code or maybe you need to adjust your approach to the attempt to acquiring the download.
Make sure you have cookies enabled and clear your cache. If it continues to fail try using a different browser.
You can also download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

I am trying to install Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium. I enter the serial number at the back of the DVD case and that works fine, but then I reach a screen called Upgrade Check. There, I select what I had before (Macromedia 8), and enter my Upgrade key starting with DWD800-02416 ...
But it tells me that my serial number doesn't match the product...am I not supposed to enter the Macromedia key 8 license key there? What am I doing wrong? And most importantly, can you help?

There are many different upgrade packages for CS 4. It may be that you purchased the wrong upgrade package. For example, the upgrade package from CS 1 to CS 4 won't work if you purchased purchased Photoshop CS 3. The upgrade DVD from Photoshop CS 3 won't work if you had purchased the CS 3 Design Suite. Each upgrade package/dvd is specifically designed for the programs you had previously purchased.

No. that only applies to "current" versions, meaning CS6. You will have to buy the commercial CS6 upgrade and make the switch or just buy a new license if you are still eligible for S&T pricing.
