I have legal adobe creative suite 5.5 for mac. When i install its asks serial, which is located on dvd cover, after enter it insalls product, after installing it asks serial again, after enter it says :serial number is not valid for this product. Reinstall didn't help, OS X yosemithe.

You can download the software from the website and then type in your old serial number to activate it... that is, IF the installer database will work with your operating system. I am having problems reinstalling CS4 with a new computer running on Win 8.1. When I called customer support, they told me a whole lot of nothing for 45 minutes and then directed me to a chat session. After about 30 minutes on chat, I was basically told they don't offer support for older products. The website says "no known issues" for installation... but that very well may be because they are unwilling to record the issues when someone calls to report them! Good luck with your install. I wish I had CS5 at this point, as it appears there is still support available for it... but you are on the bubble timewise for that to continue. Other downloads

Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium trial version says my serial number is invalid?

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium from my my community college's bookstore in 2010. I successfully have used it all this time, but I recently bought a new laptop. This new laptop does not have a disk drive, but I was able to download the trial version of it online. It downloaded great, and I have been using the trial version, but the trial is up in one week. I deactivated my serial number on my old laptop, and then tried to enter it onto my new laptop, but the error message keeps saying "Incorrect Serial Number": "The serial number you entered is not valid." However, the serial number is definitely valid, and I spoke with Adobe and they just checked and were able to see that I do have an activation available for this serial number. Why won't it accept it?
Side Notes:
The licensing is Student Licensing
I downloaded the correct creative suite (Creative Suite 4 Design Premium)
I typed in the serial number correctly and checked multiple times
I cannot afford to purchase an updated version nor Adobe Creative Cloud at this time

Same thing happened to me, except I lost disk 2 and was told to go to the forums.. Seems Adobe isn't too great on their customer service or fixing issues. The problem I was told, was that we have "Student" serials and the one from the download isnt a student version.

I already have Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection (student version) installed on my personal home computer, but I'm looking into buying a laptop, will I be able to install the same programs and use the same serial number on my laptop as well as it being on my personal home computer, or would I have to buy separate software for my laptop?

Missing Serial Numbers for Adobe Creative Suite 5 Web Premium

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 5 Web Premium with the education discount in 2010. My computer crashed and I am trying to install the software on my new computer. I do not have the serial numbers anywhere. For some reason, the Adobe Acrobat 9 serial number was saved in my Adobe Account. However, the remainder of the applications, which were installed on the same day, were not saved in my account? So now, I have no way of installing anything except Adobe Acrobat 9. Is there a way to have a new serial number issued to you? Or a way for Adobe to use my Acrobat 9 serial number to track down the others? I have all the installation files. Is it hidden in one of those files possibly?

Try chat, they might be able to assist you in finding it thru your account. You might be able to use the Acrobat info to convince them that you also have the CS5 under your account.

The other day my friend spilled his drink on my computer and it is now going to cost me $800 to get it fixed so I am considering getting a new one instead of getting mine fixed I'm not sure if the memory is still ok or not either. It didn't get that wet and Apple told me it is more than likely ok but there is no guarantee that they are going to keep the memory when they fix it. So I was wondering if I get a new one if I can install the Suite on the new one I still have the product key and serial number for the Suite. Or if I decide to get mine fixed and the memory is swept, then can I reinstall it on mine after it is fixed? If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank You

Serial Key not working for Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium

I have the serial key for my Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium that I bought in 2011 on my account page. However, when I put the serial number in the installer, it says "This serial number is not valid for this product."
I just want access to the product I bought. Can anybody help me?

Are you definitely installing Design Premium CS5, not a similar sounding Creative Suite? And not CS5.5?

Aussimick you will want to enter in the qualifying serial number from the full version of Adobe software you purchased. Unfortunately that option is not possible.
You cannot upgrade a Creative Suite to a standalone product.
Creative Suites can only be upgrades to other Creative Suites.
You'll need to return Photoshop CS6 upgrade since you cannot use it.
Return, cancel, or exchange an Adobe order
Some options:
Buy a Creative Suite upgrade, or
Buy a full new copy of Photoshop CS6, or
Join the Cloud
