Adobe creative suite cs5: unable to drag objects on illustrator or indesign. unable to open files in photoshop, brush doesnt work in photoshop.
In the past I uninstalled adobe creative suite cs5 from my laptop, used the adobe creative cloud cleanup tool, restarted and then reinstalled the programs and everything worked again for about a week. Now everything has gone back to the way it was again and this time the uninstalling and reinstalling isnt helping.
Any ideas?

I'm having exactly the same problem. Uninstalled CS4 and reinstalled the 30 day trial of the Creative Cloud and it's stil having the same glitches, not opening in photoshop and not being able to drag/move objects in Illustrator or inDesign.

Adobe Creative Suite CS5 is acting up. In Illustrator i was unable to move objects with my mouse and tried solving the problem in different ways - it still didnt work. So i opened up photoshop. I was unable to open a file in photoshop (new or old) and when i finally did manage to open something, I am unable to do many things.
1) i cannot crop canvas
2) i cannot resize canvas
3) text dissapears after i type it
4) brush strokes dissapear after i release mouse

Thank you!Nobody can help you without system info or otehr details. From your description this could be driver issues with a tablet if you use one or similar issues with a programmable custom mouse... Most definitely not an issue within the programs. Unplug your mouse and tablet, uninstall and reinstall the drivers, try another input device...

I have the same problem that the user who wrote the post "Trouble installing content files on Mac", but his post went unanswered. Here is the link: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4221280. I am trying to install the adobe creative suite CS5 downloaded from the internet, and what I have is a dmg file. When I open it, there is only a read me and a folder named "English". In the read me I go to the install instructions, and they tell me to double-click in Install.app, a file which doesn't exist. What am I doing wrong?
I downloaded it from Adobe Store. When I open the dmg file I see the read me.pdf and the English folder, nothing more. Perhaps the problem is that I have already installed the program in one computer, this is happening to me trying to install it in another one. Could that be it, that I need another license in order to make it work?

While upgrading Adobe Creative Suite CS4 ME into Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 Design Premium, I get an error saying This serial number is not of a qualifying product, please try another. I used to be able to get a code from customer service but I can't get to the chat. Please advise!!!!
MoeGhazal I reviewed your account and it looks like you have have upgraded from a CS4 volume license for Design Premium to a retail upgrade of Design Premium 5.5.
I also show that you made two purchases of CS5.5 Design Premium but the second purchase was canceled. Please make sure you are utilizing the serial number which ends in 7886.
If you are using the correct serial number then it is likely the installer will not recognize your volume license CS4 serial number as being valid for an upgrade. If you can contact our support team then you can be walked through an unlocking procedure to allow you to proceed with the installation. I am the licensed owner of Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5. Unfortunately, I recently had a hard drive failure and had to have my MAC hard drive re-imaged. There's no 64 bit TWAIN so you need to use the 32-bit version of Photoshop. Personally I'd recommend that you use the scanner software as a standalone application and forget TWAIN, which is rapidly becoming obsolete and more or less abandoned everywhere. All it does is call up the very same scanner software, only from within the PS UI, and tying up Photoshop in the process. -
I bought a downloadable file when I bought Creative Suite CS5.5 for my laptop, which has now become slow and laggy. So I bought a new laptop and have downloaded trial versions of CS5.5 on to it, as suggested by information online, only to type in my serial number and it tells me that it's unvalid. I'm a college student and spent a lot of money to have this compliation of programs, and I do not have the money to invest into CS6 quite yet, as my needs are met with the previous version.

Updates Fail Adobe Creative Suite CS5 / Adobe Audition 3
So I installed my Creative Suite CS5 after a hard drive fail. Now when I try to update it ; it tells me there's a problem with my serial that works just fine for installation.
Also if someone knows where i can get adobe audition 3 i have the serial just not the installation program.

Because I once lost my CD's Adobe sent me a download link to download the suite which worked then, but now I have a new laptop which doesn't have a CD-rom drive, so I tried to download these links again. Now I get the message that my serial key is invalid. I have had contact with customer support and they verified that my serial key is valid and then I was sent to the forum to ask how to continue.

I have purchased and used Adobe Products for 25+ years and I own CS6 Design Standard outright.
I had previously subscribed to Adobe Creative Cloud but did not renew the annual subscription.
The CS6 Design Standard serial number is listed in my Adobe user account. I have run the the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaning tool, uninstalled the Adobe Creative Cloud App and all other CC apps from my iMac. I reinstalled fresh copies of the CS6 software two different times, first from my CS6 DVD disk and then from the Adobe Download page. During each installation of CS6, all seemed to run normally and I was prompted to enter the license number and it was accepted. However, when trying to open the software after completing the installation, I am being prevented from doing so without renewing the Creative Cloud subscription.
Who knows of a solution to this problem?
Contacting Adobe’s Chat support and Customer Support portal has not resulted in a solution, even though they have confirmed the license number as being accurate and linked to my account. After weeks of waiting on their responses, yesterday I was told to go to the Forums to find a solution….Please Help Me….ThanksI am not familiar with the process involved with the link I am providing so please accept my apology if it is a repeat of something you have already tried...
