Adobe creative Suite Standard trial version

I am trying to install the trial version of Adobe Creative Suite Design Standard and I have done the download part, it is not extracting but is taking a really long time. How can i fix this?

Cancel/ terminate, download again using another browser and storing to anotehr location. also consider this alternative method:

I went into the PC settings and tried to change the display resolution. This changes the size of all the icons (not only Adobe) but it does not solve the problem when I open an Adobe application (Photoshop or Illustrator)... The PC is run under Windows 8.1 and my display resolution is 3200x1800 (but again, when I change the settings for a smaller resolution, only the size of the icons is affected. Once I open the software, the problem is still there, extra-small toolbars...). Help!!!

Anything before CC is not high-DPI compatible. Feel free to continue to experiment with your system settings.

Where can the install.app file be found when installing Adobe Creative Suite CS5, download version ?

I have the same problem that the user who wrote the post "Trouble installing content files on Mac", but his post went unanswered. Here is the link: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4221280. I am trying to install the adobe creative suite CS5 downloaded from the internet, and what I have is a dmg file. When I open it, there is only a read me and a folder named "English". In the read me I go to the install instructions, and they tell me to double-click in Install.app, a file which doesn't exist. What am I doing wrong?

I downloaded it from Adobe Store. When I open the dmg file I see the read me.pdf and the English folder, nothing more. Perhaps the problem is that I have already installed the program in one computer, this is happening to me trying to install it in another one. Could that be it, that I need another license in order to make it work?

You mistakenly copied plugins from a previous version of Photoshop.
You should only copy third party plugins (and optimally, those should be reinstalled instead of copied).
Get rid of the obsolete plugins you loaded by mistake.

Adobe creative suite CS can i upgrade to CS3

I have adobe creative suite CS full version and also have a CS3 upgrade can i upgrade from the installed CS to CS3?

If your only intention of installing CS is to upgrade to CS3, then you can try skipping the CS installation and just go for the CS3. You should only be required to provide the serial number for CS during the CS3 activation process, as proof of the upgrade applicability.
Depending on how new the machine is, you might find it a challenge to get CS installed and working. CS3 less so, but you might still run into some issues.

Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium trial version says my serial number is invalid?

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium from my my community college's bookstore in 2010. I successfully have used it all this time, but I recently bought a new laptop. This new laptop does not have a disk drive, but I was able to download the trial version of it online. It downloaded great, and I have been using the trial version, but the trial is up in one week. I deactivated my serial number on my old laptop, and then tried to enter it onto my new laptop, but the error message keeps saying "Incorrect Serial Number": "The serial number you entered is not valid." However, the serial number is definitely valid, and I spoke with Adobe and they just checked and were able to see that I do have an activation available for this serial number. Why won't it accept it?
Side Notes:
The licensing is Student Licensing
I downloaded the correct creative suite (Creative Suite 4 Design Premium)
I typed in the serial number correctly and checked multiple times
I cannot afford to purchase an updated version nor Adobe Creative Cloud at this time
Someone please help!! I am very frustrated and the person on Adobe Chat said they do not offer any technical assistance for older products.... Any help is MUCH appreciated!!

Same thing happened to me, except I lost disk 2 and was told to go to the forums.. Seems Adobe isn't too great on their customer service or fixing issues. The problem I was told, was that we have "Student" serials and the one from the download isnt a student version.

Is Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard student version compatible with Windows Vista ? On the back it says XP and Windows 7. Vista is the system between so I am assuming it will be but is it?

Short answer is no.
Long answer is that you may be able to run it in Vista, and I'm sure that many users do so successfully, but Adobe does not officially support that operating system for CS6.

Says that i have trial version, when i have permanent adobe creative suite

its been activated and registered since early or at least summer 2014. been using it. have cloud update. wonder if i accidentally updated to the trial version . I have version that can be disc back up, but they do not sell it like that any more, its all cloud based. It just recently started saying trial. I have to continue on trial or register my serial key, but says my serial key is invalid. I have adobe creative suite 6, not monthly pay version but the life time cloud supported, payed for by my school. I go on the adobe website under my adobe account and my adobe suite 6 registered with the serial key shows registered to me. the cloud update is the only thing that i can think that would of changed it. may be it will default back to original adobe cs6 when the trial is over. I don't see any other way it would go from being activated as regular adobe trial. I have used it many times between 2014 and now. it didn't show as trial until now 5/3/15. in the cloud it gives an option to click on the cloud trials. maybe I did this on accident or there a gliche when update my permanent programs. I am going to call for adobe tech support tomorrow 5/4/15. this ridiculous that this occurs this easy. maybe its new gliche in there system, because all adobe CS6 programs are cloud supported. Adobe tech support told me this. I would prefer not have to re-install because it was long painful ordeal the first time. It is not cloud subscription. I wonder if I was suppose to the cloud updater at all for non subscription cloud supported programs. ARRRRRRGGGGG!!!

I had purchase Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 design standards (Student and teacher licensing), but I lost the disk and still have my product code. I tried downloading from the available downloads but the product code i have doesn't work. Where can i find a CS5.5 design standard student and teacher licensing download?

There is no specific version designated for student/teacher versions, the software you get is the same as any other 'version'... the serial number is what designates the version status. You might have used the wrong product code or maybe you need to adjust your approach to the attempt to acquiring the download.
Make sure you have cookies enabled and clear your cache. If it continues to fail try using a different browser.
You can also download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

Uninstall Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Standard with creative suite cleaner tool not working

hi, I try to silently uninstall Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Standard using the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool
on a win7 x64 (french) computer so far with no success
I tried
AdobeCreativeSuiteCleanerTool.exe ‐‐removeAll=CS4
     in the log I get a ERROR: CS4 not recognized value.

I reboot the computer, check add remove program, cs4 web standard is still here, and I can still launch the applications like nothing happened...
but at this point if I try to manually uninstall (with add/remove program) i get an error message saying "cirtical errors during installation: program installation database is incorrect, reinstall from original support" (maybe not accurate as it's in french)
same thing if i run manually the cleaner tool and go through the dialog.
I don't know what else I can do, I've already spent a couple of hours with this issue.
Any help / suggestion would be appreciated, thanks.

hi, thanks for your answer, actually this is what I have to do:
I have to uninstall cs4 english to install it back in french. If I try reinstall with the french licence over the existing install, it starts in trial mode and ask for the licence.
So if I follow your advice I should reinstall, uninstall, then reinstall ( and I have to do that on 30 computers, through SCCM, not manually)
As you see it become quite complicated.
An other suggestions?

Why is my trial download for the Adobe Creative suite taking so long?

Hi-I have a MacOSX 10.6.8 laptop with decent internet service.I started downloading the trial for the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard in the morning and it is now 8:59 p.m. and it still says 20 hours left.This trial is only for 30 days-a day has gone by-that has taken away from my trial and learning this with the intention to buy after.What is the possible reason for this and do I get a day back in my trial?
