Adobe CS 5 Design Premium key

Hi guys,
We have a Adobe CS 5 Design installed on our PC, there is some problems with the application now as it cannot be opened, anyway we want to purchase an Adobe CS 5.5 Design cd, just wonder can I still using the version 5 key for version 5.5? we just bought the version for less than a year and try not to spend money on another licence.

No. Creative Suite 5.5 is an upgrade not an update, so it uses completely different serial numbers. Owning a previous version can qualify you for reduced pricing, but CS5.5 is an entirely separate application (i.e. you can install it alongside CS5 if you want; it doesn't replace a previous version when you install it).

Adobe Creative CS3 Design Premium - Problem with Photoshop CS3

Hi,
I have been trying to install Adobe Creative CS3 Design Premium for 2 days. The problem is when I try to install the software the Photoshop CS3 is gray out. I can install the all except the Photoshop. I have no idea what is wrong but has failed to install photoshop cs3. Do I need to unistall the Photoshop CS2 in order to make it work. Any help will be appreciated.

I have been looking at my error logs to try to see what my problem is and it only says the word error once at the bottom and I can't really tell what the error is for. It says successful on one line and then error on the next line. Is tehre anyone here that knows these logs well and can tell me what my problem is by reading my error logs?

Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium - What is the most logical order to learn the programs in this suite?

Okay, so I want to become a real Adobe fan. I have CS5.5 Design Premium, I am running Windows 8, I have both a digital camera and video recorder and I have a Bamboo drawing tablet.
What would be the most logical order to learn the programs in the Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium?
Could you provide recommendations for using the online video trainings?

The most logical order is dictated by your own needs. Sorry to be so blunt, but trying to determine the order of which tools and workflows based on "I'm hip when I know Photoshop." or similar is bound to take you nowhere. Any of the individual programs has more features than even pros who use them every day will ever use. Everyone only uses the part relevant to get the work done. That being so, you could be watching tutorials for the next 5 years every day and still not have learned anything relevant. With that in mind there's realyl only two reasonable ways to learn:
a) Attend a structured course.
b) Come up with an idea for a specific project of your own.
A good place to start would be e.g. creating a photographic essay/ story - shoot some photos, edit them in PS, create a layout in ID, some logo in AI. Then you can look up specific tutorials for techniques as you go along.

Adobe CS 6 Design Premium Update.

We have installed Adobe CS 6 Design premium in our organization, when ever i try to update it says " The update server is not responding. The server might be offline temporarily, or the internet or firewall settings may be incorrect.
Hardware config:
HPZ600
Xeon Processor E5620 2.4 Ghz
8GB Ram
Windows 7 64bit
1TB HDD
Also we are on a LAN with a descent speed (256kbps per user) internet connection with download limit to 100mb
I just wanted to know can i get a link to CS6 update Patch so that i can download on to my system and i can manually run the update on my machine and other machines in the network.

However, you may still have problems. Many of the updates are over 100MB in size. If your company or service provider is blocking file downloads on such an arbitrary basis, you are going to have to have them exempt you from this in order to fully update your software reliably. I also suspect that they are in fact firewalling you to the point where the Adobe updater cannot properly communicate with the Adobe website.
Your hardware configuration is obviously totally irrelevant here.

this is my first thread and may be I'm placing a stupid question and I apologize in advance.
I ordered Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium STUDENT-INT Code H5951Z/A and I will receive it in few days ( through the Italian Apple Store).
My doubt is related to the language, I'm an Italian Student and I would prefer to use this software by using the Italian Language.
Is the Italian Language available with this version?

Called Apple yesterday and they told me that as far as it has been purchased in Italy there "would" be the Italian language available.
I don't want to appear too difficult on this topic, my concern is that once the Adobe original package will be opened it will be mine, with or without the ITA language.
Maybe the code H5951Z/A tells it but I can't find anything related to it on the web.

I have purchased adobe creative suite design Premium and it will not properly load onto my other laptop because my ist laptop crashed.

I purchased adobe creative suite design premium as a student and was supposed to be able to download it onto one more computer if needed and now because my other laptop has crashed I still need to use the software on my new laptop. the files load and I get the read only files but it won't set up like the original installation. What kind of company doesn't have customer phone representative service on software we pay big money for?

CS4 Design Premium key works off DVD but not Harddrive

I have an Educational Site license for Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium.
If I put in the DVD's and run setup.exe it "checks" my Serial Key and accepts it.
If I copy the 2 DVD's to the D:\Server share and run setup.exe based on the network deployment instructions it says my Serial Key isn't Valid???
(all copied from F:) "E:\Installs\AdobeMacromedia\Adobe Creative Suite 4\Adobe CS4\Setup.exe " --record=1 Gives a Serial Key isn't Valid
(DVD Drive) F:\Adobe CS4\Setup.exe --record=1 works fine.
I am a little baffled.
Does anyone know where it looks to validate the serial number?
I do have a Site license for CS3 Web that is installed find and Adobe CS5 Standard and they both worked just fine.
We are upgrading our web portion to CS4 but keeping the CS5 for Illustrator/Indesign and Photoshop.
It doesn't seem to matter though even if I have nothing installed on the workstation.

You may still have remnants of Photoshop on your computer. Use the Adobe Cleaner tool, then try again:

Trying to reinstall Adobe Photoshop CS3 Design Premium - I receive an error saying I need to insert Photoshop CS4 to continue install. How to do this???

I recently got a new computer and transferred programs over to it (it's a Mac Pro). But now my Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional application no longer works so I need to reinstall. (Acrobat 8 originally was bundled with CS3 Design Premium.) I no longer have the disks for these programs, so I downloaded the CS3 Design Premium from Adobe's website. Upon opening up the .dmg file and starting the install process, I'm prompted with an "Install Error" telling me: "Please insert Adobe Photoshop CS4 to continue installation." I do not have a disk for PS CS4. How do I continue the install??

Transferring files between machines doesn't work for Adobe applications. You should uninstall anything you transferred over and use the cleaner tool for it. Then download and install the CS3 suite as a whole.
