Adobe CS suddenly wants REauthorization on the same computer I've been on for years.
WTF? I know it's from the dark ages - it's all I've got and all I can afford. Is there anything I can do, or am I just screwed? Help!

Hello there - I am sharing an iPhoto library across two accounts on the same computer - it works fine EXCEPT for Quicktime movies - they play on one account and claim I don't have the rights on the other - all permissions are on and ok?
It should be in the Users/ Shared folder.
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Note the option to check and repair Library Permissions

Yes its 32GB, you can also look at the back of the iPad. at the bottom. Under the word iPad it has the capacity.

No need to re-import CDs again. As long as the files are on computer in a directory accessible to logged in user then they can be added to library.
Files added in one library are not automatically added to any other library. Each library is independent of the others except in the case of deleted files. If one library deletes a file from library and disc then the other library will still have entry in iTunes but will have "!" next to it because the file itself is gone. -
USFIRST: FRC and FTC on the same computer?
Hello - we're gearing up for the USFIRST Robotics 2010 FRC kickoff, and would like to use the same computer that we were using for FTC to program our robot.
The version of Labview we received and used for FTC was 9.0, but the FRC version from last year is 8.5. Is there a way to use just 9.0 to program for FRC, or do we need both versions on the same computer?
If we can use 9.0 for FRC, how do we install the needed VIs?

FRC will be using LabVIEW 8.6 this year. There are prebuilt VIs that will only work correctly in LabVIEW 8.6. Unfortunately, you may have to end up uninstalling LabVIEW 2009 before installing LabVIEW 8.6 just as nathand said. Again, I would direct you to the FIRST community as you will receive direct support from the FIRST developers there.

Well, what is your problem?
If you are entering your serial number and being told you have used up your activations, you will need to contact Adobe to have your activation count reset

ICloud wants to upload the same photos again...
I just uploaded 24,000 pics to the iCloud. Now when I tick the setting "iCloud Photo Library" and select "Download originals to this Mac", it wants to upload all the photos again... and of course tells me that I have to upgrade my storage plan... I already have the 500GB plan. It's as if iCloud doesn't recognise that all the pics I uploaded from the same computer. Help...
Hmm, no reply so far... so this is what I did. I saw that all the pics were in fact in the iCloud. So I decided to take the risk and delete all the pics and videos on the hard drive (I have a backup!) and then download them all from iCloud. This seems to have worked. Now all devices are in sync.
However, even now after a few weeks, none of my devices, iphone, ipad and Macbook Pro are able to browse all the pics. It's incredibly slow and very often I get the message : Cannot load Photo! Very annoying. Does anyone else get this? It seems the cloud cannot handle this mass of pictures. Surely I am no exception out there with this number of pictures...
I am very frustrated. I just can't find a good solution for my picture library. Photos seemed good, but it's not working smoothly enough. Am looking at Adobe, Amazon Cloud Drive, Flickr - but they all have certain deficiencies - iCloud would have it all - syncing, editing, storing, sharing, uploading RAW files... but it's the most expensive out there... and it's not really working...
Sigh. My Synology station is not doing it for me either. I suppose I am asking for too much. -

I need to know how to fix the Adobe reader so I can read the same PDF docs, my bank statements, etc that I have always been able to read before.
Then why was I able to read them before? I downloaded a PDF study guide that I have been using for weeks. Then all of a sudden, a couple days after I purchased rights from ADOBE to convert from text to PDF everything comes up in a different fot. It is in a draft type of font that is very light, the caps are bold and it is difficult to read. I can still read the Study Guide, though it is hard on my eyes, but my bank statements are illegible. Now please tell me if it isn't Reader, what is it? and HOW DO I FIX IT?

ThanksDeleting an iCloud account only deletes it from the Device, not from iCloud. In iOS 8, the name of this setting changed to "Sign Out" as that is a better reflection of what actually happens. Your iCloud data remains on the server, available to devices still signed into the account, but the device you sign out of the account on is disconnected from the account, and as a result, the iCloud data from that account is removed from the device. It will redownload to the device should you sign back into the account.
The only issue you'll run into when you switch between accounts is with my photo stream photos older than 30 days. When you delete (or sign out of) and account, your photo stream photos are deleted along with the other data from the account in question. However, unlike other data which remains on the server and can redownload to your device when you sign back in, my photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days. When you sign back in, you will only get back my photo stream photos added in the last 30 days (as older photos are no longer in iCloud to redownload). Like other account data, any my photo stream photos on your other devices signed into the account are unaffected by this. If you want to keep older my photo stream photos on your device as you change iCloud accounts, save them to your camera roll before deleting (signing out of) the account. -
