can anybody help me with this?

    Hmm, I'm downloading the mac clients for CS3 design premium.  I was able to download them without being signed in.  Try signing out of your account and then downloading them.
    Right click on these links, then save them as is when the prompt comes up:

    and in about 2 seconds i'm on the page I need.
    Since CF7, there is a very slow javascript and it's nearly
    impossible to bookmark a page with the tags or functions. You need
    20 to 30 seconds before beiing able to read the information you
    need.
    What are your solutions to have a fast help ? A special URL ?
    a Firefox extension ? ...

  • Online Help Opens Automatically

    I've got an issue I've never seen any discussion about - and it drives me crazy. As I'm working away in Photoshop, all of a sudden Adobe Photoshop Online help launches in my web browser. It seems to happen when I'm doing the same task repeatedly -- like repeatedly opening and closing a layer's Layer Style dialog box (but the issue is not limited to working with layer styles).
    It's like Photoshop is assuming I'm having a problem because I keep doing the same thing a number of times, so it automatically launches help... when I don't need any help.
    I'm working in Photoshop CS4 on a Windows 7 64-bit PC... although I had the same issue on previous versions of Photoshop and Windows.
    Anybody ever experience this or know how to stop it from happening?

    It's been seen before, and likely indicates there is some memory corruption in the running Photoshop image.  It's a symptom that happens after the fact.
    Corruption can occur because of faults in 3rd party plug-ins or the video driver.
    Make sure your video driver is up to date from the web site of the maker of your video card.
    Try disabling the advanced drawing feature in Photoshop's Edit - Preferences - Performance OpenGL configuration.
    Temporarily remove 3rd party plug-ins.  If there are plug-ins you need, see if there are updates that fix bugs.
    Also make sure you have the latest Photoshop update (11.0.2 as I recall for CS4).

    CS3 is too old to run on a new Macintosh laptop, sorry. You'll have to purchase CS6 or a Creative Cloud subscription.

    My Adobe Updater installed Photoshop CC 2014, and all seemed well, until I attempted to get online help via:

    This LINK is apparently BROKEN!

    Pfondaneche, when you press F1, are you just in the main Photoshop window?
    When I press F1 I see it go through a quick redirection and within a small fraction of a second it ends up here:

    The specific link you posted does not work for me either, so I'm assuming there's an Adobe server problem somewhere, or maybe a problem with that particular link.
    I've noticed Adobe has failed to update a number of its pages for the new Photoshop CC 2014.1 release.  For example, where is a new page that describes where Photoshop CC 2014.1 keeps its preference files?

    I've downloaded their software and I received an error stating I must contact Adobe.  So I do, and they REFUSE to assist because my licensed software is not the most current version.  How do I place a call to them?

    It is Adobe CS3 and I was reinstalling it onto a new Macbook Pro.  I had a backup with Time Machine and I restored my files to the new laptop. Of course because of serial number conflict I needed to reinstall my software. The Macbook Pro no longer has a built in Super Drive so I downloaded the software off of the Adobe site. I uninstalled, and tried to reinstall but received a message stating there is a problem and to contact customer support.  I did, via their chat system, and was told that they would not help me because it was CS3.
    After uninstalling and restarting several times I finally resolved whatever the error was.  I apologize for the long winded reply, but wanted this to be in a forum in the event someone like myself goes looking for self help answers.  Thank you again!

  • Adobe Online Help Launches in non english. How do I get it back to English

    I have a user who somehow managed to change her Photoshop Online help from English to Arabic. The photoshop menues are all in english as is the entire program. The install language is English. But if she clicks help - photoshop online help - the page opened inthe browser is the arabic page. How can I change her help language back so it goes to the english web pages?
    Only photoshop does this. Help for the other apps in the Creative Cloud all go to english pages.
    I've tried changing the region at the bottom of the page to United States. That had no impact.

    Perhaps she enabled Arabic with English type support or something liek that. without more details nobody can realyl know what's going on Could even be something configured oddly in teh browsert or it have an invalid cookie that changes the locale for the help.

    I just installed Adobe CS3 Master Collection on my G4 PowerBook, and with the install discs there is a CONTENT disc which contains a folder called GOODIES with content like photos, fonts, clip art etc. Basically all the files i need to use the programs.
    Can someone tell me where these are supposed to go? Do I drag them somewhere?

    It doesn't make a bit of difference where you put them. Just copy them all into a folder anywhere on your hard drive.

    Adobe CS3 Design Premium Software package (commercial use) do I
    have to do it every time new Adobe Software comes out? is it
    possible to leave it until the second or third new version of Adobe
    CS3 Design Premium Software package comes out so I will be able to
    get the upgrade version?
    My other question is: my lecturer has advised me to buy the
    Student Version of Adobe CS3 Design Premium Software package (for
    non commercial use) is it true that Adobe will limit your usage? if
    yes how do they do it? as there are probably millions of Adobe CS3
    Design Premium Software packages in the UK alone!

    An Upgrade version is merely an upgrade to an existing
    license. i.e. can
    only be used to upgrade an existing, qualifying installation
    of the software
    on a computer. An upgrade cannot be installed on a computer
    which does not
    already have an earlier qualifying version of that software
    installed.
    e.g.
    CS2 Full version + CS3 Upgrade = CS3 (1 license)
    CS Full version + CS3 Upgrade = CS3 (1 license)
    Version 7 Full version + CS3 Upgrade = CS3 (1 license)
    But Version 6 Full version + CS3 Upgrade = cannot be done
    because Version 6
    does not qualify for a CS3 upgrade license (Adobe policy).

  • Unable to resolve installation error for Adobe CS3 Web Premium despite referring to given solution

    Hi,
    I own a copy of Adobe CS3 Web Premium from a few years ago that was bundled with my Fujitsu Lifebook T5010 on Windows Vista.  I wish to install the CS3 Web Premium onto my Acer Aspire X3990 desktop that is running on Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 on 64-bit operating system type. However, the installer prompts the following error: "This software cannot be installed because JScript is not properly registered. Please repair JScript and then restart the installer".
    Checking with Adobe website, I came across the following support page: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-2739-installer-closes-cs3.html
    whereby it says the solution is to manually register the jscript.dll file. I followed the procedure exactly for that of 64-bit system, but then the following new error pops up when I enter in "regsvr32 jscript.dll" onto Administrator: Command Prompt on C:\Windows\SysWow64 : "The module "jscript.dll" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80004005. For more information about this problem, search online using the error code as a search term."
    One thing I note is that on the Adobe web link, the operating system mentioned is Vista, while I am currently running Windows 7.
    Please help, as the few solutions I found on Google search are mostly repeated calls to ensure that the command prompt is run at Administrator level, which I already am doing so. I need something more than telling me what I had already done but not resolved.
    I am asking the same question in parallel to the Microsoft Community page as well, as I do not know where exactly the issue lies with. I hope both sides can give a clear resolution.
    I really need help in enabling me to use Adobe CS3 again, as my Fujitsu laptop that ran it without problems had since died off already.
