色々試したのですが、解決が分からずです。

My iMac crashed and once I recovered it I re-installed all my software including my Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard (DVD) but Photoshop simply won't install after 3 or 4 attempts. After the lengthy installation process I get a huge error message on Photoshop which I am pasting below. How can I finally install Photoshop? All my other programs are working. Help with installation of Adobe CS4 Design Standard -- content dvd?
I just installed Adobe CS4 Design Standard using the dvd marked "application." Am I also supposed to install something from a second dvd marked "content"? When I opened the dvd on my computer, it had a folder with "read me" documents for each program and another marked "goodies." Inside the second is a folder of fonts and one or more other folders but no installation option. Does anyone know what I'm supposed to do with this dvd, if anything? Thanks os much!

Has anyone gotten this error? I have uninstalled and reinstalled a dozen times and nothing has changed. Is my DVD bad?

and found no reference to exit code 6 in the second link, and this seemed to be the relevant entry in the first link.
CS5 products indicate an exit code 6 or 7 in the Installation Status screen, or after you click the Troubleshooting link. To locate the details of which registry keys are affected, open the installation log file. Search for "return value 3," then look just above that text for the error 1401, 1402, and so on.
I found no "return value" in the following, but found these two errors:
ERROR: DF037: Unable to delete directory "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe\AdobePatchFiles". Error 145 The directory is not empty.(Seq 886)
ERROR: DF037: Unable to delete directory "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe". Error 145 The directory is not empty.(Seq 887)
However, these are the two errors I followed up on even before I posted this problem. I was able to delete the directories so they WERE empty, and still got the same result. More Exit code 6.
I have complete administrative control of my computer. There's nothing I don't have permission to do.
As for the FATAL: DS003, I get this:
DS003 Cannot create extract assets at <path> from zip file <zip file name>
The unzip operation has failed. There could be directory permission or disk space issues.
See Error "FATAL ERROR: Cannot create extract assets..." | Installer log | CS5, CS5.5.
The zip operation failed at first, but as I mentioned, I was able to fix this. However, this error did not go away after the problem with 7zip was fixed.
The only other possible problem is Error 23, a CRC, which gives me a partial result only.

The linked page does not contain more information. As it is, that old staple "Contact system administrator" is cited, but I'm the system administrator.
I have no idea what "Updater has been disabled" means. Why are updates disabled? Is this a fixable problem? Do you have any idea about how to "enable" updates?

Adobe CS6 Design Download Problem
I have purchased Adobe CS6 Design and Web Premium for Windows. I was able to download some but not all of the programs. I receive an Adobe window message to indicate thatPhotoshop, InDesign and Flash Professional could not successful be downloaded. It contained this error summary.

How to design a dvd label in illustrator and export as interactive

I need to design a dvd label for a client and they want to be able to make edits to it after I design it. Is there a way I can design it in illustrator.. save as an interactive pdf and then they can edit it with acrobat? I know with acrobat you can make edits to type but can you make edits to colors, photos, etc? And if you can't does anyone know of another application that they would be able to use without having adobe? let me know thanks!You can't replace content in Acrobat. You only can use the touchup tools to adjust text and make minor corrections on images like cropping or assigning a different color profile. and of course you can use form elements to provide dynamic text. If you need to provide more than that, you better look into otehr solutions which could be as trivail as the software they use to actualyl print the DVD labels (canon Easy Label Print and similar) or a generic, free tool like Open Office Draw, Inkscape or Scribus...

Adobe CS4 Design Premium Compatability
Hello,
My daughter is required to use Adobe CS4 Design Premium by her School. I will have to buy a new laptop for this purpose. In this regard, I have few queries:
Most laptops come with Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit) OS. Since the Adobe website states that this program is certified for 32-bit, I am not sure whether CS4 could perform perfectly on Vista 64-bit platform?
If the answer to the above is yes, then I intend to purchase a laptop with specs of Intel Duo 2 Core T6500 (2.1 Ghz 800 FSB 2MB Cache), 4GB RAM DDR2 800 MHz, display 1280 x 800, and 250GB 5400 rpm hard drive. Is this hardware sufficient to run CS4?
I am a layman as far as technology is concerned. I called up Adobe technical support 2 times: first time they said it wont work and second time they said it will work!!. I am totally confused. Since this means a significant investment to me, I request help and guidance from anyone on this subject.

AlokSaapAs you realize, the sky is the limit in terms of how you can configure a system. You could literally spend $10,000 on a new production PC but that certainly would not necessarily buy you any advantage unless you had particular needs that could take advantage of the extra juice that such a pricey configuration provides.
The problem with your request is that it doesn't say really what the typical user of these 2 to 3 new production PCs will actually be doing. For example, are they doing simple web page design in Dreamweaver with occasional entry into Photoshop to edit low resolution images for web display? Or are they jack-of-all-trade designers with windows open in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator simultaneously dealing with graphically very complex and large files? Dedicated to graphics work or are there half a dozen browser windows plus Outlook (or some other e-mail client) open simultaneously?
Personally, I tend to “over-configure” on the basis that if I buy high quality systems not quite at the bleeding edge, but closer to the leading edge, I'll have a system that has a useful lifetime of at least four to five years although Adobe does “allow” its engineering employees' systems to be replaced every three years. I am currently running on a Dell Precision 5400 workstation (current model is 5500) with dual Xeon Quad Core 3ghz processors, 8GB of memory, two 15000rpm SAS (serially attached SCSI) 300GB disk drives, a DVD+/-R burner, gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, and an nVidia Quadro FX 1700 video card driving a Dell 3007WP 30" monitor (2560x1600pixels). I have a very pedestrian Dell keyboard, but a Microsoft 8000 Bluetooth mouse. I do run quite a bit of stuff on this system using it as the hub in my office for running backups of other systems (to a bunch of IEEE1394-attached external drives), running InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop often in parallel, running tests against a development copy of the Adobe PDF Print Engine running on my system, as well as having e-mail and browsers open at all time. This system is running Vista Ultimate SP2 64-bit. This is really overkill for most users.
What you can get away for your users with of course depends on the tasks they will be running per my questions in the second paragraph above. Without those answers, some generalities:
(1) Unless you are doing heavy video work, you really don't need more than one processor. A single processor at approximately 2.5 ghz or better with either 2 or 4 cores will do fine in most cases.
(2) Memory is relatively cheap and will enhance performance more than almost any other resource you can buy today. In conjunction with that, go for either Vista 64-bit or Windows 7 64-bit (stay away from XP 64-bit like the plague). Why? Even though only Photoshop currently has a 64-bit version that can take advantage of 64-bit processing on its own, the 64-bit OS supports more than 3GB of memory and as such allowing larger amounts of real memory, you avoid the tremendous amount of disk thrashing that goes on as part of virtual memory paging operations when a whole bunch of applications running concurrently are competing for a small amount of real memory. I personally recommend 8 GB of memory in conjunction with Windows 64-bit as a minimum, even on new notebook systems!
(3) Disk performance is also key, especially if you are dealing with large data files. As such, 10000rpm Serial ATA or 15000rpm SAS (serially attached SCSI) drives make a tremendous, noticeable difference in performance. However, high performance disks are quite pricey, especially the SAS ones since it is now a limited, specialty market. (For new notebook systems, avoid anything other than 7200rpm drives - the difference in cost for a 5400 versus a 7200rpm drive is quite small now. I just bought a new 500GB 7200rpm drive to update my notebook system - the cost of the drive was less than $150.)
(4) You don't need a smoking video card (those things that cost upwards of $500 to $1000) to support the Adobe Creative Suite unless you are doing extensive video work or playing high performance video games in your spare time. Typically, a mid-range video card that supports very high resolution (such as 2560x1600) will be fine. What you don't want, either on a desktop system or a notebook computer, is an “integrated display adapter” that shares memory with the CPU. Typically, such video support appears on low end desktop and/or notebook computers - avoid like the plague!
(5) For desktop systems, I'm partial to large, high resolution monitors even though my vision is quite good. I'm dealing with graphic arts and I need/want both high resolution and real estate. Although these 30" 2560x1600 monitors are relatively expensive, with reasonable care, they can last for years. I have one such monitor that is now in its fifth year with no degradation of quality. Cost per day is very low to keep your eyes from going crazy and to make your work more efficient. Once you use one these babies, you can't go back!
(6) No preference on motherboards. That decision is generally made for you if you order a system from a major vendor. I personally am not into build-it-yourself systems. Not that I can't build those, but quite frankly, my own time is worth something and my biggest problem is having enough time to do everything I want. I get no particular pleasure in DIY computer building.

Uninstall Adobe LiveCycle Designer
Hi to all,
I installed CS3 Design Premium on my laptop, including Acrobat Professional 8. It installed Adobe LiveCycle Designer too, but I don't use it, so I want to remove it to recover HD space.
I ran the installation DVD of CS3 to get rid of the application, but It doesn't show the option to remove only LiveCycle Designer and keep the Acrobat 8 Installation intact.
Is there a way to remove it safety?
I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit, Intel Centrino Duo processor, 1.5 Gb of ram.

What you need todo is goto Add/Remove Programs.. and then click "Remove/Modify" Acrobat...
In the configuration popup wizard
--> click Modify application
--> When the wizard gives the option to select components, deselect LC Designer

AhmadThis happened to me once. I lost the entire WebDynpro Library Group. I went into the design and right mouse clicked in the Library Area. I then added my own Web Dynpro Group. This should create a directory. You can see all of these directories in you documents and settings directory under Application Data\Adobe\Designer\<lang>\objects. For instance mine is: C:\Documents and Settings\i809764\Application Data\Adobe\Designer\en\objects
I then copied all the files from the WebDynpro directory into the one I had just created. You could try changing the library Group Properties to point to the correct location. If you are just missing some of the elements, check the same directory and make sure their XFO files are there. -
Reinstall Adobe CS5 Design Premium
I had Adobe CS5 Design Premium on my iMac running now system 10.8.4. Going on travel, I uninstaled InDesign and Photoshop on my iMac to be able to instal it on my MacBook Air running 10.7.5 which is the highest it can handle. Back home, I unistalled InDesign and Photoshop on my MacBook Air to be able to reinstall it on my iMac, but guess what? My iMac does not recognize my installation CD because "You can't open the application "Install.app" because PowerPC applications are no longer supported."
I am very sorry but I can't afford to switch to an upgrade. I would like very much to be able to continue to use what I bought: it was still working on my iMac under system 10.8.4 so it is only the installation program which causes trouble. Can Adobe help me out of this?

JeromeSorry to say, this doesn't work. I found this page already before asking help. But I tried it again as you mentioned it in your reaction. Any link I try leads finaly to upgrade to CS6 or Creative Cloud and says CS5 is no more for sale. I just want to reinstall CS5, but the install program on my install CD seems to be PowerPC and refuses to work on my iMac with OS 10.8.4. But it works on my MacBook Air with OS 10.7.5. What I also tried:
1. Installing from my MacBook Air on my iMac via my network: is not accepted.
2. From my MacBook Air I made a start-up extern disk with OS 10.7.5, then started up my iMac with this disk. The internal DVD reader does not recognize the install-CD. The external optical drive, who accepts the install CD with my MacBook Air system 10.7.5 rejects the install CD with the same extern optical drive connected to my iMac that also is started up with 10.7.5.
3. Went to my Adobe order hystory. Found back the order of my CS5 but found no button to download it again. Is this because it was shipped in a box to me?
4. Reinstalled Photoshop on my iMac with Time Machine: works to my surprise and satisfaction, but I think this is by accident. Reinstalled InDesign with Time Machine: after starting up, InDesign tells me: "Configuration error. Please unistall and reinstall the product. If this problem occurs, please contact Adobe technical support for help, and mention the error code shown at the bottom of this screen. Error: 5"
5. Thinking something in the system is missing, with Time Machine I also brought back in Library > Application Support > Adobe back to the same date as the InDesign reinstallation: same result: error 5.
When I want to unistall as asked, the uninstall program does not sees any InDesign. It sees only Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash and Illustrator. So also Photoshop is not found, although it is back on my iMac and works perfect, which let me think the reinstallation of Photoshop with Time Machine was by accident. I tried other dates with Time Machine for InDesign but all in vain.
I realy wonder why software developers make life so diffucult for honest users. Why do they hide from direct contact? I want to be able to call someone who helps me out of this. ADOBE !?! -
Please Insert Adobe CS3 Design Premium to Continue Installation

I purchased the download version of CS3 Design Premium 3 years ago. I backed up the program to a DVD-R and my external hardrive. My computer crashed and I found was unable to install from my back up copies but was able to download it from adobe.com and installation from the downloaded files went smoothly.
When I reinstalled the suite on my Windows Vista Business HP Desktop, however, I decided not to install Dreamweaver. I just tried to install it now. All was going well until I was prompted to insert the CS3 Design Premium installation disc. I inserted the back up disc I made (no other files on it) and the message box won't budge.
All the CS3 components are working great on my system, I just would like to add Dreamweaver. I also would like to protect myself should the download link become unavailable in the future (right now I'm downloading the suite to my computer). Plus it'd be sweet not to have to wait 3 hours to download each time if possible.
So my question is could someone please assist me in making a backup of my software that works so I can reinstall the suite or individual programs in the future?

Update: I signed into My Adobe and downloaded CS3 to my desktop, unzipped files, and proceeded to install a few components (after deactivating CS) and the same thing happened - Please Insert Adobe CS3 Design Premium to Continue Installation. I have legal copy of this software that was nearly 2,000, and I can't seem to find any solution after searching for hours on end. I've considered buying an upgrade (the box/disc version) but I'm not sure I'd be able to upgrade if I can't get CS3 to move beyond this error message. I'm feeling frazzled If anyone could help me clear this hurdle I would be so grateful.Hey Mylenium,
I appreciate your taking the time to write. I have the files backed up on a 500GB WD Passport. I also burned the files on cd and dvd. You hit the nail on the head with the installer getting hung up on searching for "the magic key." Thanks for the advice re more damage than good re installing separate apps. Too bad it was listed an option if it doesn't truly work. Otherwise I would have installed everything on my system the first time round. Helpful to know know for the future..
My concern about uninstalling everything is that I may run into the same issue during installation. As mentioned prior, I was able to reinstall my software after my computer crashed but only from the download link on adobe.com. Yesterrday an adobe rep told me that the link to my purchased download is only active for 3 years. I purchased my software in March 08 and the link allowed me to download just fine but his comment concerned me. Do you know if Adobe has any plans to deactivate links for prior purchases?
I plan on upgrading but believe I will need access to my original software for the upgrade to work. Or does one get a full copy of the software when upgrading to CS 5.5 with a valid license? I know that my Intuit and Microsoft Suite products work that way.

I need setup for Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0 for working with PDF forms in NWDS 7.0 SP18 and NWDS CE 7.1 EhP1.
I could not find it on Adobe Website. All they have is 9.X and above versions.
Also, when I tried to download from SAP Marketplace, it says that item is no longer available.

Uninstall string/command for Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8
I would like to uninstall, via a command line/uninstall string, the Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8 package on multiple PCs. Can someone provide me with this information? I see there is a manual uninstall through the add/remove programs, but this is not an option. It came packaged with our Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional software.
