I want to buy adobe cs6 design standard for student and teacher but i want to make sure, "Will I be able to instal my software in my three computers"?

All Adobe software can only be activated on a maximum of two computers at any one time and it can be only used on one of those computers at a time.

I have had to re-install my Adobe CS6 Design Standard for students and teachers after having problems with my computer (MacBook Pro)
I am wondering if there is a way to access my old serial number from when I originally installed CS6, or do I have to start over again and get a new serial number?

You normally use the same serial number that you are first issued. If you registered your product when you first installed it then you should be able to find your setial number available thru your Adobe account online.

The answer is yes. If you use the "alias" method (in iPhoto's Advanced Preference pane - don't copy files when importing) you can use your own source folder system. You can also share the source files with another image management application. There are some unique issues, however. Any edit of a photo by iPhoto is not seen by the other application as the edited version is saved in iPhoto's Modified folder. If the other application can perform edits on the source file and save the edits to the actual source file, iPhoto's thumbnail of that file will not reflect the change but the edit will display when you open the photo in iPhoto's edit window or use that photo in a book or slideshow. If iPhoto hasn't edited before hand. If iPhoto edits the other application's edited version the source file is not touched. Also any file added to an existing source folder has to be manually imported into iView and then moved within iPhoto from its roll to the roll representing the source folder it was placed in via the Finder. When moved in iPhoto the source file will physically be moved to that folder in the Finder. Hope I haven't confused you with this convoluted description.
So with some quirks you can use another application like iView MediaPro on the same set of source files.
I do the above with iPhoto and iView.

Where to purchase Adobe CS6 Design Standard for mac? (in the UK).

I'm looking to purchase Adobe CS6 Design Standard for mac for the company I work for (I'm in the IT department).
All the other marketing staff run this version.
I need another copy but it seems it's all been replaced with Creative Cloud.
The finance director is not happy to be paying yearly for this, wants a one off payment for boxed/download version of CS6, so everyone's on the same version.
I've Googled but don't trust any of the online shops I'm finding (could be dodgy copies of the software, might not turn up, etc).
Adobe seem to still sell some CS6 products but only in other countries? (we're in the UK).

Can I transfer my Adobe CS6 Design & Web Premium (Student edition) to another machine?

Hello, last year I purchased Adobe CS6 Design & Web premium for students, and what I ordered is for Mac. I installed it in my iMac and Macbook, but then I unlinked the one in my iMac because I planned to install it in another machine (a windows desktop computer which is also mine). But then I typed the serial number to the Adobe design & web premium in windows and it says "the serial number you entered is invalid."
Any idea how to transfer the CS6 to this machine?

Serial numbers for perpetually licensed products such as CS6 are platform specific: Mac only or Windows only.
You cannot use a Mac serial number to license the software on Windows. And vice versa.
You can swap platforms using this procedure but it will require that you surrender your Mac license.

Cloud apps (CC versions) do not have that limitation: they can be installed on both Mac and/or Windows for the same membership fee.

Are students/teachers of The University of Sydney eligible for student and teacher discount?

I want to buy Photoshop CS6 Student and Teacher package. I am not sure if the University of Sydney is eligible for this discount.
Could anybody help me confirm whether I can get a discount or not, it would be very helpful if someone could tell me where/if I can find a list of approved schools.

Chocolateyuki I would recommend contacting your education institution to determine if they offer a discount through Adobe for Creative Suite 6. You can find additional details on if your school is eligible for educational discount at Education FAQ.

Eligibility for Student and Teacher Edition in final year of university

In Student and Teacher edition FAQ it says that "University and college students—students enrolled at a higher education institution defined as an accredited public or private university or college (including community, junior, or vocational college) that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two years of full-time study" are eligible.
I'm in my final year at university of applied sciences in Finland. I've been studying for 4 years. My "standard study period" is over, but I've got one year of "study entitlement time" left. My degree is not completed yet and I will stay a full-time student for next 8 months, using the "maximum study period" time.
I'm unsure about the "two years of full-time study" part of FAQ answer. Could it also mean one has to have at least 2 years worth of studies ahead to be eligible? Or am I right to assume that I can still buy the Student and Teacher Edition as long as I'm a full-time student, no matter how many months of studies left?

I had the hope that Adobe follow the same principle as Microsoft for its leading product “Office 2007” Families and Students (Version prohibited for the commercial work) and they was astute because on the one hand Adobe recovered customers of informed amateurs which could not follow its prices for a personal use and on the other hand, that made it possible to the private individuals to reach best of the software.

If you mean download (move from somewhere else to your machine) I do not know that there is a limit, though I have heard that it can happen when you repeatedly do it, as in the same day or so. Normally there is no limit to the number of machine you can install on, so it is likely there is no limit to the number of downloads... but there is a limit of 2 for the number of installations that you can have activated at a given time.

Why is my Design Standard 6 Student and teacher edition suddenly not working and saying my trial has

I bought it in September and registered, it was working perfectly until i tried to use it today and it said your trial has expired. It wants me to either purchase a subscription to the cloud or resubmit my serial number. Is there a way to fix this?

Where's The CS6 Complimentary Upgrade for The Student and Teacher Editions?

I bought the student and teacher edition of CS5.5 Design Premium a couple of weeks ago and got the email telling me how to get my complimentary upgrade to cs6 a few days ago. When I went on to adobe.com to look up the pricing for the student and teacher editions of the cs6 programs, there is no upgrade option (the only price shown says "Full from 449.00"). When I looked up pricing for the non-student and teacher editions, the upgrade option is there.
Are the upgrades for Student and Teacher Editions not available yet? Is there anybody else who bought the Student and Teacher Editions having this issue, or is it just me?

I talked with someone from Adobe earlier and they told me that I cant upgrade to another student and teacher edition but I can upgrade to a retail version still at no cost. They also sent me a link to a page telling me more about how to claim the upgrade, and the page mentions a "coupon code" that I have to enter during checkout.

The email didnt include a coupon code, and I followed the steps but the price remains at the regular upgrade price. I read on the "how to claim" page the associate showed me that I would be getting a code no later than May 31st. Do you think this email was maybe informing me that I am eligible for an upgrade and that they would send me a coupon code at a later date?

There are no upgrades for Student and Teacher Editions. You can continue to use the version you are using, or you can buy CS6 with no special upgrade price, or subscribe to Creative Cloud. However, I believe if you still qualify, you're offered a discount on Creative Cloud.
