Adobe CS6 Education Edition

My original computer with my Adobe CS6 got corrupted and i was unable to deactivate it. I need all the help i can get because so far i have not been assisted in any helpful way. I have the Education Edition which makes this even harder and for some reason this edition is not registered under my past purchases.

Nobody on the forums can help with serial number and activation issues. You have to use the web chat or phone support.

Can I buy both CS5 Education Edition and CS6 Education Edition?

Hello everyone!
I recently bought Photoshop CS5 Extended Student Edition. Now I realised that CS6 is soon to be released and I'm all excited about all the new features. The education page of Adobe says that I am only allowed to buy one product every 12 months. My Question now is:
Are CS5 & CS6 considered the same product and only different versions or are they different products? So can I buy CS6 Student Edition when I gets released or do I have to do the commercial upgrade from my Student Edition? The latter one wouldn't be my favorite choice because ~450€ is a lot of money for a student...

If you bought CS5 Edu. very recently, you should get the upgrade to CS6 Edu. for free.

Installing CS6 educational edition on iMac without a CD

We purchased CS6 (educational version) from a local store. It has CDs but our new iMac doesn't have a CD drive. We tried looking for a downloadable trial version online (so we could just enter the serial number that came with our CDs), but there is no CS6 educational trial. Please help. Thanks.

There is no difference in the installer for the DVD/Trial for educational version and non-educational version.
You can download the trial from Adobe.com and use the serial number to serialize it.

There are no upgrades for edu products. You simply buy a complete new license at the discounted price.

How do I upgrade to CC from CS6 education edition?

So I am no longer a student, and in the past, I have purchase CS4, CS5 and CS6, but all have been the education edition. I wish to upgrade to the full version of the CC and would like to take advantage of the "Special for CS Customers" price of AU$29.99 per month. However, when I input the serial number for my CS6, I am told that I am not eligible for this discount. Can someone tell me why?

Trying to take a piece from Adobe CS6 to edit on FCP 7 - general error

I'm new to editing so please forgive my question or lack of technical knowledge. Last year I had edited a short documentary for school using a trial version of Adobe CS5. Fast forward a bit and now I'd like to make some changes to it using Final Cut 7. Currently I downloaded the trial of CS6 on my laptop to try to make the transition easier. I have a brand new iMac in which I upgraded the ram to 12gb. I first tried to import the entire documentary as an .mp4 file and received the general error message, but not the out of memory message. In researching my issue on this site I discovered that the file must be converted to prores. I attempted to import a short piece of the documentary (~4 min out of the total 17min) as prores but I'm still receiving the same error.
Ideally, and I dont know if it can even be done but I'd like to somehow transfer the timeline over to FCP as well. Please help, any input, ideas, thoughts, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

mp4 is not a fcp friendly format. Try using compressor to convert to prores.
As far as bringing your project into fcp:
First, did you capture your original material with timecode?
What format is the original capture?
If so, you may be able to export an edl from premiere and bring that edl into fcp. You would have to probably convert the original captured material to an fcp friendly format and then manually match each shot in to fcp.
All doable and probably easier than starting from scratch.

Can't access the website of serial numbers for CS6 educational edition.

I have a student edition of CS6 that I got two years ago and was downloaded on my computer before the hard drive crashed. Now I am trying to install it on a new computer and the website I was given to get the serial code for it doesn't seem to exist. Any help?

That being the case, and unless there is an Adobe employee signature on that written promise, there is really nothing Adobe can do... certainly nothing anyone in a forum can do
I do not have an address for Adobe, but I'm sure Google can find the Corporate address for you... which would be a better place to write than in this forum where Adobe executives will never see your message
But, that is only my opinion as another user... Adobe staff do read some of the forums, some of the time, so maybe an employee will come along and say something else

     Since you have purchased an Education version product, follow the instructions mentioned in the below document to submit your Proof of Eligibility:

     If you have purchased the Download Order and if you have already submitted the proof of Eligibility, then you can directly login to your Adobe account at adobe.com using your Adobe ID and password and navigate to "My Adobe" > "My Orders" to locate your Order. Once you click on this Order, you will see the download link, you can go ahead and download the product from there. You will also be able to locate the serial number in the same page.
     If the Order is still in process, then in the meantime, you can go ahead and install the product as a trial version from the below link and once the Order is processed, you can just enter the serial number on the activation window and activate it as a full version.

Serial number incorrect for Adobe Photoshop CS5 extended education edition

I received a serial number for my Adobe Photoshop CS5 extended education edition, but I get the message: this serial number is not valid for this product.
Apparently it's not possible to send an email to Adobe NL, so I hope someone can help me out.
