Adobe CS6 Master Collection DISK setup issues

I duplicated the contents of all 3 dvds to the hdd as a backup, in case the dvds break.
However, when I run dvd 1's setup from the hdd, it eventually says to insert dvd 2 to continue installation, which I do, but it doesn't work.
1) What's wrong? Do I need to run dvd 1's setup from the dvd instead of the hdd to bypass the issue?
2) What's the best way of making a backup of the Master Collection such that the backup itself can be used to install? Copy and paste, like I did? Download the trials? Burn?

When you back up the content from Adobe setup DVD then this is an expected behaviour to ask for Disk 2.
There are 2 solutions to this problem what I think of :-
1) Download the Trial of Master Collection CS6 from the below link and use that as the back up, your serial number will work with it as well.

2) With you DVD set create a desktop installation point and then use that as the back up and installation. It will not prompt for the Disk 2 if you follow the steps properly as stated below.

Urgent Support Request! - Adobe CS6 Master Collection - Please Insert Disk

Our company has downloaded Adobe CS6 Master Collection for deployment on our master image this year.
When attempting to install using the files that we downloaded and ran off the hard drive the set up says "Please Insert Disk", this shouldn't be necessary as I have all the required files to install on my computer already.
I need a solution quickly to this as I have to get this master image completed and deployed within the next week or two and I have hundreds of machines to do it on.
It is a clean install and therefore there are no compatibility issues with previous programs, I have tried looking for the installs of the individual programs themselves in the folders to no avail, I had a similar problem with Autodesk products which I solved by installing the trial version then upgrading it to the full version immediately after install. I have not tried that with this problem yet as I'm sure there is a more efficient way to solve the issue. At least I hope there is. Please get back to me as soon as possible with this because I'm required to get this sorted within a very tight deadline.

I purchased it through a intermediary company (surfspot.nl) on 06-10-2012. Why is my serial id invalid? Is it only a year license? If so, can I extend it somehow?

I need a windows laptop that will be able to run the full Adobe CS6 Master Collection, this will be mainly the only thing I will be running on this laptop. If anyone could give suggestions, that they know will run this software and runs smoothly, I'd really appreciate it!

I planned to buy Adobe CS6 Master collection ( Students and Teachers Version ) but i have a some confusions.
1) If i bought the software with an adobe reseller ( a boxed product of adobe master collection CS6 - students and teachers edition ) and obtained a serial number with it, will i be able to use the software for more than one year or three years once it is activated ?

There is no serial number in retail boxes of S&T, just a verification code and that needs to be properly registered to obtain a serial number - now. After that you can reinstall and reactivate the stuff until the day the Adobe servers fall apart or run out of electricity or Adobe changes their policies.

Just looking at that link and I don't think this is my problem. It says:
Bootstrapper requires certain installer components to be in place to load correctly. Otherwise, it displays the error "Installer failed to initialize. File not found. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem."
Run the Adobe CS5 Cleaner Tool and remove the product that you are going to install. See Resolve installation problems with CS5 Cleaner Tool | CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3 (cpsid_82947).
But mine doesn't say "File not found" anywhere in the error message.
If it helps on my desktop when I try to install it an icon comes up for a second that looks like the dmg mounted icon with the word "core" underneath it.

I installed Adobe CS6 Master Collection for Mac, licensed it and updated it on twenty iMacs. This a University computer lab with many users. Sometimes Adobe software starts in trial mode as if the license key hasn't been entered. What could be the problem?

Could you please tell me how did you install Master Collection on 20 machines.
If you have installed Master Collection on 1 Mac and created an Image of the OS and then installed it on the 20 Mac's then you may come across with this kind of issue.
In Order to properly deploy the Master Collection please use our Deloyment Tool to create a Serialised Package and then use the same to deploy it on the 20 Mac's.

first, rename OOBE Folder to OOBE.old.
to find OOBE:
64 bit win OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
32 bit win OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
mac os: HD>library>application support>adobe>caps
mac os: USER>library>application support>adobe>OOB
if that fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
if you're using a dvd to install:
copy the disc contents to a desktop directory and install from that directory.
if you're using a mac:
1. Try to Create a new user account in Mac with Administrator Priviledges.
2. Login to the New user, Navigate to Mac HD> Application> Utilities> Adobe Installer folder, Locate products like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and un-install them
3. Navigate to User Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
4. Navigate to Mac HD> Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
5. Start the installation again.

I purchased Creative Cloud(Student Edition) membership last year, and the membership was expired last month.
Instead of renewing my CC membership, I intend to install 'Adobe CS6 Master Collection', Which I purchased about 2 years ago.
But when I finish installing 'Adobe CS6 Master Collection' and try to use my CS6 programs, the programs keep popping messages: "renew your Creative Cloud membership".
I deleted whole programs and installed it again, But it was no use.

I recieved a laptop from a friend that had Adobe cs6 Master Collection on it, seemingly activated (no trial timer in sight). the problem is, i plan on reinstalling windows and would like to keep this $2000 collection of software, but i cannot find the activation key (the product registration information is seemingly not available, along with deactivation and updates) , or anywhere to download an installer. how would i go about finding the activation key, and then where can i find a copy of the master collection to download and install with said key?

If the original owner did not formally transfer the license for the software, the key/ registration is most likely still under his/her ownership in his/her Adobe account, and you have no rights to use it nor to reinstall it on any machine you own, including the one you received. It will be the responsibility of your friend to deal with this.
