Adobe CS6 Perpetual License - Where can I get this?

I have been a user of Adobe since CS1.5, I purchased CS5.5 in 2011, and have been using it happily since, recently i have been having problems with CS5.5 and my update to Mavericks OS, so I thought I should buy CS6, problem is at $49.00 per month the problem is that it works out to almost 4 times the purchase price (Perpetual cost). This business model does not make sense for small users? why did Adobe go down this road? All I need is Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and sometimes Audition, cheapest option is $600 per year, oh yes I see there is a special offer of $360.00 for the first year on upgrade, but that is only the first year. why? why? why?
Now I am forced to look at software which I never considered before and have to learn a new system from scratch. So disappointed...
Why does Microsoft still offer the boxed version of Office as an option to selecting Office365?

You may try to buy elsewhere. You may come across offers of new and unopened box sets, and used ones. There is quite a number of rules concerning the legality of taking over Adobe software from others, in some cases requiring a licence transfer.

If there is no iDVD on Your Mac (and it's not on newer Macs as Apple discarded it) then You need a program that can do this.
Your Mac can burn CDs and DVDs - BUT DVD as Data-DVDs not as Video-DVDs - they need a program to be encoded and STRUCTURED as such.
• iDVD is part of the boxed version of iLife'11 and can only be bought outside Apple as on Amazon and e-bay
• DVD Studio pro - Part of FinalCut Studio Pro bundle - this to has expired and can only be bought second handed. (High price and tough learning Curve - but best ever done.)
• Roxio Toast™ - Not as elegant as iDVD - but has many other positive additions (I like it as 10-Pro incl BD-component) (now version 11)
• Burn - a free alternative I know of on internet. Very simple - Just for doing a plain Video-DVD

Where can I get this sample database?

I'm attending some PL/SQL classes, where we use the most popular, I think, sample date base - this one which contains i.e emp, dept etc tables. I've downloaded and installed Oracle Database 10g Express Edition and thought it contains this sample base. Unfortunately I can't find it there so I suppose I have to get it from somewhere else.
Could you maybe tell me, where can I find this sample date base?

I would have expected the this schema to be installed with the DB. Have you tried to log on to the SCOTT schema? conn scott/tiger@sid
Also, I know when I installed my 10Gr2 database the scott schema was locked by default. Have you checked to see if SCOTT even exists? As system try the following:
SQL> select * from all_users where username = 'SCOTT';

Officejet Pro K850dn: It mentions attaching "rear manual feed slot". Where can I get this?

Manual mentions to feed heavy stock paper from behind, remove the duplex unit and replace with rear-access panel. Where do I get a rear-access panel? I do not recall getting one with the printer.

Thanks for this. I found the same. I also found that you have to give the paper/card a slight push to get the printer to recognise and feed it at step 3. Maybe the rear feed is faulty or needs a clean.
It took ages to get it to work and I must say that whilst this printer is great when it works, getting it to work reliably is another matter. I have it attached as a network device and it often just stops working. I believe HP release updates for this from time to time so it must be a recognised problem.
I have also just replaced a print head (black/yellow) and the new replacement was faulty, so I don't seem to have much luck. I had a CP1700 before this one and that was also unreliable. I had had hoped that the 8600 would be reliable, but this puts me off buying another HP unit for the office.
Perhaps someone from HP will kindly reply and advise if there are any suitable maitneance steps or checks that I can make. That would help to restore confidence.

It is part of the OS.
In some Middle eastern countries, they do not allow this feature. If your phone came from one of these countries, you cannot get facetime at all.
