Installation Failed Error Code : U44M1P7
In the Log it was : DW063 ARK Patchcommand Failed (seq 6)

Adobe CSXS Extensions update failed on multiple CC apps
I am cross posting this on this forum because there has been no response on the CC specific setup forum, only several other users that are having the same issue. Hopefully this might actually get some attention here.

I have tried to update these multiple times in both regular and admin accounts, all anti virus off, and on fresh restarts. Witht he exception of updating my preferences in PS and IL I have not even opened the apps that are requesting the update so any file corruption happened within the intall.
Searching for the error codes listed in the logs comes up blank. I'm going to try to paste my log file as code but I'm somewhat unfamiliar with the forum's editor features so I apologize if this winds up being huge. On other boards you can post code much like a "spoiler" but I don't know if that is the case here. Thanks for any assistance y'all can provide

06/18/13 13:I have tried several of the solutions mentioned in that document. Some of it is out of date as I am specifically having issues installing the Adobe CSXS Extensions 4_4.0.2 in the new CC apps, specifically:

Basically, the installer is saying that the file it is getting from the server does not match the checksum that it is looking for for that file. Hence, both the CC Application Manager and AIR (which I have removed and updated) think that they are getting a bad file. I have also tried installing these updates without any virus, firewall, or port protection. I have also tried safe mode and the like.
The main issue is that the only way to get this update is through the cloud. Every workaround for this issue for earlier CS producs said to just download the update directly to avoid the checksum issue. This is not possible with the CC apps as the updates are only available through the cloud. I should also note that, for most of these programs, they are fully clean installs. I have not even opened any apps besides Photoshop and Illustrator which I did before the update was posted, so I can't imagine why I would need to spend most of a day uninstalling and reinstalling what is essentially a clean install to begin with. I think I will just have to take this directly to Adobe support as I know I'm not the only one with this issue but there have been no solutions posed even when full logs are provided.

AAM 6.2 All - Download Error (U44M1I216) updating Adobe CSXS Infrastructure CS6
I'm a CS6 Cloud subscriber running Win7 32-bit and have been having the general 'Download Error/Update Failed' issue with AAM since 12/15/2012. I spent a couple of hours on the Live Chat line with an Adobe support person during which I downloaded and used the Cleaner; downloaded and installed the AAM 6.2 All package but continued to have the same issue 'Download Error/Update Filed' since.
I believe that I made progress this morning after reading a post on the boards from a direct licensed user with a different AAM issue. I used the Help/Update function of one of my CS applications which brought up an instance of AAM which, unlike the 'normal' System Tray version of AAM, didn't immediately go to the 'Download Error/Update Failed' state. This instance of AAM presents both an About and Preferences buttons. I pressed the Preferences button and this next screen showed the list of my applications and had both a Cancel and OK buttons.
When I pressed the OK button, I got to another screen with the list of my applications and About, Preferences and Update buttons. In addition to the list of my applications, each application had both a checkbox and an list expose button. When I pressed the list expose button for each of my applications, I got a complete list of the updates - at the 'package/version level - that AAM 6.2 ALL was attempting to install on my machine in order to maintain all of my applications.
I used that list to go to the Updates page on Adobe to find each of the listed package/version combo's that were listed by AAM 6.2:

I used the CSXS Infrastructure CS6 install log file - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Installers - to confirm that the installation of the specific version that I had found was successful and it was:

Does anyone know if there is a later version of CSXS that is being called for? If so, do you have a link to where on the update site I can download it for direct update?

In all seriousness, is it me or does it seem to be spelled a bit sloppily (no space between "Infrastructure" and "CS6")?
I neglected to notice or press the About button... Did that describe what this is or does, or why it's being updated? If not, isn't it kind of embarrassing for Adobe, considering the blog entry apologizing for the update LAST TIME that didn't describe what it is or why it's being updated?

What does this CS6 Update do of fix and why is a system restart needed?
Hi all, Firstly let me apologise for the confusion caused by this updates lack of descriptive text. I do not like applying updates without at least having some idea of what they do, so I went to the Engineering team responsible for the update to get a response and also created a blog post, the copy of which can be found below. About the CSXS Infrastructure 3.0.1 Updates
Recently we posted updates for various CS6 applications called CSXS Infrastructure updates via the Adobe Application Manager. Unfortunately, there was no text describing what the update was for or indeed what CSXS was. Whilst we work to add in the descriptive text to the update, I wanted to provide some brief information for those that were curious as to what the update was about.
CSXS is the platform that delivers extensibility within Creative Suite products. This update to the CSXS Infrastructure, resolves an issue where certain characters contained in a users Adobe ID caused a login failure.
It’s only a very small update but an important one, so please apply the update if you are a CS6 user, now that you know what it’s for.

Adobe Reader XI Update failed. How to fix?
When my windows 7 64 bit computer was updated to adobe reader XI, the update function began to continually fail. I am getting the following "Adobe Reader Updater" message:
"Update Failed An error occured. Please check for updates again later. Error: 111500"
This message annoyingly pops up when adobe attempts to check for updates automatically. I also get this message anytime I manually check for updates. I have tried to "check for updates later" a million times with no luck. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Reader a million times. I have also uninstalled, utilized the adobe reader removal tool for removal of older versions, and reinstalled a million times. I have also tried reinstalling the older versions. Still, whether i am using version XI or an older version of Reader, I always get the above message when I request an update. Please Help!This error means that Updater could not create download folder under C:\Users\All Users\Adobe\ARM
Most likely you have special\corrupted permissions at C:\Users\All Users level
Or some sort of Antivirus type program keeps this folder locked.
You have 2 choices
1. Fix permissions\locking issue
2. Download Updates manually and install them every time they are released - http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html
If you choose later, you can disable Updater automatic modes from Edit\Preferences\Updater menu.

Adobe Acrobat DC Update Failed
Hi,
I have a big problem with updating to Adobe Acrobat DC (Windows 8.1, 64 bit); I am trying to install it since three days now. When installing out of the CCInstaller, the following error appears:

HenrikSame problem here! I just want to install Acrobat DC and I get the same problem, but my old acrobat version (Acrobat XI Pro still working). Are you really mean that with this 'installation of Microsoft Visual Studio' it will work. I can't effort that my acrobat don't work any longer. Thanks!
Here are some steps worth trying. Looks like your Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Run-time installation is corrupt.
I found that following steps work if you're getting error:
"Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action InstallWebResources, location c:\program files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat\AcrpCEF\AcroServicesUpdater.exe"
Try following steps and it should work:
1) Goto Download Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 from Official Microsoft Download Center and click Download.
2) Select vcredist_x86.exe and download the package.
3) If you're on a 64 bit machine navigate to "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\" else navigate to "C:\Windows\System32" on 32 bit machines. If "C:\Windows\SysWOW64" folder exists then you're on a 64 bit machine.
4) Search for msvcr120.dll and msvcp120.dll and rename both files. Don't delete them so that just in case vcredist_x86.exe package fails to install you can rename them back.
5) Now double click vcredist_x86.exe and install it. After installation completes check that msvcr120.dll and msvcp120.dll are now installed back. You can delete the files that you renamed in step above now. Don't delete msvcr120.dll and msvcp120.dll
6) Install Acrobat through CC Installer and it should install now without complain. -

I receive a U44M1P7 error when installing Adobe CSXS Infrastructure 4.0
Particularly annoying in that ALL FIVE installs failed, and Adobe's lovely solution based on the error code (u44m1p7) is to uninstall and reinstall. Or check the arcane logs that don't tell a real story. How about this idea? TELL THE ENGINEERS NOT TO RELASE THIS STUFF UNTIL IT'S READY FOR PRIME TIME. Thanks. I'm clearly NOT the only one with this issue. AND we don't even know what the added benefit is for this kind of pain. I'm very happy for updates...but to click on all five and they all fail, and we then read that others have the same problem...please do better than that. Thanks.

Jeff, I understand you're just trying to help and please understand that my POISONOUS ANGER is in no way directed at you but at someone in the company you work for who caused this problem for me. Thus, from here on out the pronoun "you" refers interchangeably to "Adobe" or "The incompetent engineer (and I use the term loosely) that allowed this dog dirt to be released into my computer" The problem is clearly NOT with any of my apps but with the infrastructure that you place on my computer to have it all run (thus "common files"). So the advice to uninstall and reinstall is despicable. Rather, YOU fix the garbage in these programs that clearly don't benefit US the users but YOU the company, probably in keeping tabs on my license and right to use CC, which I pay for. I do NOT pay to have that underlying software break and then have to do YOUR work to fix it. Thanks for your ear. -
Why does the Adobe Acrobat DC Update Fail on a Mac Running OS X Yosemite 10.10.2?
I don't have Adobe Acrobat installed anymore, yet CC is still telling me I need to update Adobe Acrobat DC. When I try to update it, it gets to 35% and fails, every time. I've tried quitting and reopening CC; quitting CC, deleting the OOBE folder in my profile, and reopening CC. Regardless, it fails. Here's the output:

Could you please retry after restarting the system. This should be fixed now.
If this issue does not get resolve even after restart then please share the following details :
1. Operating System information.
2. Do you have any previous version of Acrobat installed?
3. Share PDApp.log file from ~/Library/Logs, Acrobat Installer logs (Adobe Setup Error.log and Adobe Acrobat DC 15.007.20033 <Date>.log.gz) from /Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers and install.log from /var/log.
4. proxy.xml if present in /tmp/58A66F1A-A7D8-4523-AC9C-AF23DB3337F3/proxy.xml .
