How do I supply update logs? I ran adobe support advisor, where are the log files stored?The support advisor said"the module found no issues to report for the selected log filee. contact http://www.adobe.com/support.

  • Adobe device central cs5 has stopped working

    I am using cs5 on windows 7. When I tried to browse for new devices using Browse Devices, the progress window
    displayed "processing 0 from 587" and then the window with the above title popped up and just prompted me to
    close the program.
    I noticed that the Devices options were all greyed out and not selectable.
    I tried reinstalling the whole CS5 suite but the problem still exist.
    Anybody can help me with this?

    you could try deleting the cache in your user folder ( .... AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe Device Central CS5 ) by deleting (or renaming) the whole "Adobe Device Central CS5" folder and then restarting Device Central.
    If you are interested (we definitely are ), we wouldn't mind having a look at your user folder to be able to investigate what caused the problem, that is if our suggestion does solve your problem.

    You likely need to change the default application(s) assigned for opening files to point to the new ones.  HOw you do that depends on which operating system you have. If you search Google you should be able to find out how to change the default programs for different files.

    Hi everybody,
    I installed Adobe Master Collection suite on to my Mac OS 10.6.8. When I click on the Device Central icon I get the following error message: "The localized resource files for this application could not be loaded. Please reinstall or repair the application and try." Can anybody help me out as I'm puzzled, everything else such as Dreamweaver etc works no problem, so I'm puzzled as to know why this doesn't work?

    I don't know if you answered this for yourself by now but the answer is yes, you do have phone profile available in CS5. Just click on the Browse workspace or go to Window > Device Library.

  • The Adobe product that installed "Adobe Device Central" has not been activated.

    After the download for the CS5.5 Design Standard finished, I pressed the handy button labeled "Download Complete! Open bundle." However, when I press that, I get a message that says:
    Thank you for using "Adobe Device Central". The Adobe product that installed "Adobe Device Central" has not been activated. Please launch and activate that Adobe product before continuing to use "Adobe Device Central".
    This has been the case for multiple attempts at varied times. What do I do?

    Adobe Dreamweaver CS3からAdobe Device Central CS3のプレビュー出来ません。
    一度CS3 Design Premiumを完全に削除して、もう一度インストールし直してみたのですが、状況は変わりません。
    Mac OS X 10.5.2
    MacBook Pro
    Adobe Dreamweaver CS3からAdobe Device Central CS3のプレビューを行うと、
    operaの初期化が出来ませんでした
    と言うメッセージが表示され
    Adobe Device Central CS3が落ちてしまいます。
    どなたか同じような症状が出ている方、
    また、対処方法などご教授願いたくお願い申し上げます。

    手順が不明ですが、ひとまずDevice Central単体で起動した場合はどうでしょうか？
    また、携帯端末のブラウザは詳しくないので関係性は不明（「ブラウザでプレビュー」の中にOperaがいるのかな？）ですが、Operaの初期化が出来ないと言うことであれば、Operaなど のブラウザのTempファイルの削除が有効かも知れません。

    Adobe, like many companies these days (like Apple with iTunes
    for
    instance!!!), assumes you want to keep up to date with the
    latest software,
    so installing Adobe software sets up your machine to
    automatically look for
    software updates.

    No it is software for PC and Mac. It's software that enables
    you to test and
    profile software, applications, graphics, even web pages that
    are designed
    for mobile devices.

    Flash Lite is a version of the Flash player for cell phones,
    PDAs and
    certain other mobile devices. At this time it is not normally

    available for download, but they are not targeted at
    consumers.

    If you have Flash CS3 or CS2 installed, you probably have
    Device Central
    installed. The error you are getting suggests some fault in
    your
    installation. You might find reinstalling Flash (or the Adobe
    Suite you
    have, if you installed a suite) will fix the error.
    So far as I know there is not a separate installer or
    uninstaller for Device
    Central.

  • Adobe CS5.5 Device Central freeze on install

    I've been attempting to install Adobe CS5.5 Web Premium on Lion over the past few days with no success.
    When the installer reaches "Adobe Device Central CS5.5" (Approx 15%), the total time remaining shoots up to 2 hours and eventually just freezes.
    I have looked around the Internet trying to find a solution but nothing seems to work - just wondering if anyone had any possible fixes on here?
    (Macbook late 2009 2.26ghz Intel core 2 duo)
    Note: I've tried the Adobe CS Removal Tool and installing Java runtime.

    I do not know if this will fix the installer issue you are having with CS5 Web Premium, but it worked for a freezing CS5 InDesign install.
    Reboot into safe mode (hold the shift key down till the grey bar shows up at the bottom of the display) then try the install.

  • Flashlite 3 - cs3 device central update crashing :(

    Hi all,
    I've just installed flash9_en_us_9_0_2_update and
    AdobeDeviceCentralAll_Patch.dmg (osx). So I can now publish to
    Flashlite3. However, I have a flash file which runs fine in device
    central when exported as Flashlite2 but when I try to export it as
    Flashlite3 (using any of the adobe generic flashlite3 profiles) it
    begins to run in device central but then device central crashes
    (quit unexpectedly) :(
    I don't suppose anyone here has any ideas what might be going
    wrong?

  • How to uninstall old versions of CS3, CS4, CS5 of Bridge, Device Central, and Extension Manager

    I want to delete the old versions of these files, but Adobe says I need to use the installers in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers, but there are no relevant files in that folder. Any ideas on how to do this properly on a Mac.

    That is correct Dancingjewel.  Migrating/transferring/copying Adobe applications is not supported and often leads to unexpected behavior.  To resolve this you will want to attempt to completely remove the current installations utilizing the CC Cleaner Tool and then reinstall.  If you need a fresh copy of the installation files they are available at Other downloads.

  • Device Central won't open after upgrade

    On MacBook Pro runnining 10.4.10. After downloading device
    upgrade and Flash 3 upgrade program will not open at all.
    The splash screen displays, then the alert: The application
    Adobe Device Central quit unexpectedly.
