j'ai achete un livre sur un site espagnol soi disant sous format pdf
or apres le paiement au moment de telecharger je me retrouve avec un fichier acsm.
apres des recherches sur le net je vois qu'il faut utiliser adobe digital edition pour pouvoir telecharger mon livre.
or je ne possede qu'un pc sous linux et une tablette et smartphone sous android.
je n'ai pas trouvé de version pour ces systemes sur le site d adobe.
j'ai essaye avec wine mais cela me donne un message d erreur.
Comment puis je donc lire le livre que j'ai acheté?

Il semblerait, d'après les réseaux de documentation pédagogique que l'application blue fire reader sur Android soit "the best way to read Adobe® Content Server protected eBooks on your Android phone or tablet" A tester donc.

Hi I am running Ubuntu version 13.10, I can't find a version for Linux to download for Adobe Digital Editions.
Is there one that exists ?
Or do I have to go to windows to get this ?

If you look at that thread posted above you will discover that in fact the answer is NO. There is no Linux version of Adobe Digital Editions - there is an OLD Windows version that you can run in Linux using WINE. Adobe Digital Editions sucks. DRM sucks.
From June UK residents will have a legal right to make copies of ebooks for personal use, and 'format shift' these if they so choose, hopefully this will encourage publishers to abandon this hopeless crippled and crippling technology - the analogy I like to use is to imagine if you could only read a paperback if you were wearing a particular pair of glasses.

I have already tried to get help from Kobo Techs but they say the Kobo N416 E-Reader is no longer supported by Kobo and is outdated. No, not if our staff is trained to use the newest Adobe Acrobat (trainings are usually for the newest versions) and uses that to produce forms. Now the files open correctly. But what will be in some months or years? Do people working on Linux do have to print the forms then again to fill in?
So do you recommend that we stop the process of producing electronic forms and stay with paper-fill-in forms? Is that the goal of Adobe? (maybe not so clever for your "financial viability"?!?!? ... ein schuss ins eigene bein?!?!)

So it is to be interpreted that Adobe is interested in killing Linux cause if users cannot work with let's say forms, they will have to switch to something that can do that for them...
We definitely don't want to force Windows or Mac on our clientele. So as far as I get it, we will go back to paper forms and terminate our licence agreements with Adobe and deinstall it...

Trouble opening version 3.0 adobe digital editions

previously had adobe digital editions 2.0.
installed adobe digital editions 3.0 last night and was able to use it.
now I tried opening it and it woulfd not open. have all my stuff migrated onto this and already deleted version 2.0

Adobe Digital Editions in Normal User

Hello All
I have been working on repackaging the Adobe Digital Editions. I captured the package and it works well. Apart from one little problem. The Normal User cannot download files/ebooks on the Adobe Digital Editions free library. User with Administrative privileges can download the files as desired. I am confused if this is an issue related to the permissions to be provided in users. The application is to deployed in a customer location and it is not recommended to give administrative rights to normal users. I tried provided rights to the certain folder and regsitries using Process Monitor but to no avail.
So i need to know if any of you guys have come across a situation like this. Time is ticking so a prompt reply would be highly appreciated.

Is the Nook HD+ supported by the Adobe digital Edition? The Nook isn't showing up so I can't transfer books to it.

to the website for Bluefire Reader and Overdrive to see if they have

I don't know why it has stopped ~ maybe an incompatible Windows update.
Unless you really need the (few) extra features of 2.0, you'll be much better off on 1.7.2.
There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0. Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)
Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

Installing Adobe Digital Editions

Hi, I want to be able to download e-books through e-pub from the library and Adobe Digital Editions is needed to do this. I've downloaded what I thought was ADE but what I get is what appears to be the book, "Getting Started with Adobe Digital Editions." I want the software. How do I get it? Am I mission something? I've checked the Adobe website and library's too but there aren't any other choices for ADE software. I have Windows Vista by the way. Help!
