Adobe does not show up as a program for me to scan with

When I select my scanner (hp Laserjet 1522 mfp) it opens and asks which program would you like to use to scan. Adobe used to be an option. After reinstalling it is not anymore. The options are word, and publisher. How do I get adobe back into the list of programs to use. There isnt an option to add another program.

Can you please try following steps?
1. Download TWACKER (Twack_32.msi) from http://www.twain.org/downloads.shtm
2. Install it.
3. Go to <Program files>\TWAIN Working Group\Twacker 32 and invoke Twack_32.exe.
4. Go to File menu > Select Source.
5. Select the TWAIN driver (not the WIA driver) for HP M1212nf and Click OK.
6. Now, invoke File > Acquire menu.
7. What happens? Do this work?
If by executing the above steps also you get one page at a time, this is certianly Scanner driver's issue. Please lets us know the results.

The web site of Adobe does not show correctly in FireFox

I have a bizarre problem. The site of Adobe (including where I can download the flash player) does not show correctly in FireFox and I only see it as a text HTML page, but without most images (typically, for instance, I do not see the image "Download now" but see a text line "Dowload now", and so on...
This seems to specifically affect the Adobe web site as I have no problme for other web sites (so far).
It is something specific to FireFox as I do have the problem with Internet Explorer.
The problem persis even if I restart FireFox without any add-on (safe mode).
Any suggestion ?

Does this only happen in Firefox? What do you see with Internet Explorer or Chrome? If it is only Firefox, I'd try these steps in this order:
1. Clear your cookies and cache
2. Reset your Firefox settings
3. Make a new profile

Photoshop CC 2014 does not show up in Default Programs to associate with correct extensions.

I am trying to re-associate file types such as .jpg with Photoshop CC 2014. The executable file does not show up even after I select it by browsing to it. What do I need to do so my image file types open in Photoshop like they did in CC / CS6? I have uninstalled Extension Manager and CC 2014 and reinstalled. No luck.

Are you on Windows on Mac?
On Windows I found my registry need and update. The key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\Photoshop.exe\shell had two lower keys edit and open. The edit command was updated to CC 2014 but Open command was still CC so I updated the open key the fix your problem on my machine.

SCC-68 does not show up as an accessory for PXI 6030E

The title does not show up in the Program Sequence window in PP CC

I am trying to add a simple title in one of the clips of a video that I am editing. I can see the title in the title window with the clip in the background but when I play the video the playback doesn't show the title but the clip.
How can I can I solve this problem? I am using a trial version of PP CC.

I looked at the video. I did exactly the same thing. What do you mean by "poke out the eyeball on that track"? Do you refer to the little icon on the top right corner of the title window that has an eye?
I have just done the following test: I created a colored background (green) and dragged that on the video track above my project then I added the title above this colored background on a third video track. Now the title shows up in the program window but the background is black not green. So it looks like that the title does not have a transparent background.

Hard drive does not show up as back up for my computer

hi had a few things replaced by apple (lcd display, logic board) along with my hard drive. I had been using time machine to back up on this machine. now that it is back it is not recognizing that hard drive as housing my back ups. the back up hard drive shows up on the desktop and disk utility, but when i try to restore from my dvd it searches but does not find it. If i control click on the dock icon and say browse back up disks it does not come up there either. have looked on boards but cannot figure out what i am doing wrong.

Adobe does not show all titles on CD

We put training modules on cd's and they open with Flash. All of a sudden i can see all the tiltles on the cd if i explore it but when Adobe opens it i only have one title in the slide title bar on the left. I thought there was an edit location option somewhere but i can not locate it. Can anyone tell me how to get
Adobe to show me all the titles on the slide Title bar ?

RoboHelp9 HTML Trial does not show images in Create PDF for Review

When I do Create PDF for Review, the pdf shows only the gray rectangular placeholders for our logo and another image at the top of each pages instead of the actual pictures. Is this a bug or it is supposed to work like that?
Just in case this has anything to do with it:
Some of RH's PDF Creator Add-in X features did not work on my new Win7, 64-bit, Office2010 machine, and said I couldn't then install my Adobe Standard 7.0 CD because "you have a better product installed". The techs got on my machine for 2 1/2 hrs. and couldn't get it to write pdf via Printed Documentation and were going to try to re-create it in their lab. A week later I uninstalled RH's PDF Creator Add-in X and installed my Standard 7.0 and I can now do Printed Documentation to pdf. Would this have caused the problem in first sentence?

I cannot be sure but I would say it is highly likely. PDF Review is designed to work with Acrobat 9 or X. I know Word 2010 has some issues with Acrobat 9 so if you are using 7, nothing would surprise me.

I had this problem, after I uninstalled the previous Lightroom installs I had, Lightroom 6/CC was available but it did not work at first. I was able to fix it by editing the Windows registry (it was only a minor edit).
I changed the value of the following registry key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Adobe.AdobeLightroom64\shell\open\command
The value was:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7\Lightroom.exe "%L"
I changed it to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom\lightroom.exe "%L"
