Adobe Doesn't Want My Money

I'm attempting to buy support for flex from Adobe. What a
frickin' nightmare. I'm going to post this so hopefully someone
from Adobe will get their act together.
Need Flex Support.

Can only buy Gold and Platinum. Can't do it through the site,
that would be too easy. Have to call:
1-888-649-2990
Someone answers after 15 minutes. Take my customer ID, puts
me back on hold.
5 minutes, another person asks me the same information.
5 minutes, another person asks for my information again, and
my flex license number. Transfers me to 'enterprise solutions'
Enterprise solutions tells me to call 1-888-649-2990. I
explain been there, done that. They keep me on hold for ten
minutes, and then explain that the manager verified the number is
working correctly. Thanks a lot.
I'm giving it another shot...

I tell you I am so disappointed with Adobe Flex support.
After all the time and frustration to purchase support, I paid
$1400 for the only support option they offered. It turns out it's
email support only and the SLA response time is 3 days.
I've been working on a production problem for over a week now
and could not get a phone call or escalation of my problem. Which
is still not resolved. After numerous emails specifying my concerns
and begging for a phone call and some help I finally went to the
investor relations portion of the Adobe web site. Found several key
executives and forwarded my emails to them. Finally, I got a phone
call.
After my email to the executives and a phone call I finally
got a phone call from the support manager. He explains the support
contract I bought has the lax SLA's and if I need better SLA's I
have to purchase a different contract. Oh and by the way the web
site is now fixed with the option to buy that. I'm afraid to go and
look to see how much that costs! Your thousand plus dollars doesn't
buy much anymore. LOL.
I'm guessing Adobe isn't marketing Flex towards the SMB
marketplace?????

    The App store is very strange; I purchase one app, downloaded two freebies; and now when trying to buy another one, it won't let me. After verifying my ID with password, etc., I get the 'pay for' routine with a get purchase info dialog... when I click on it, the pizza wheel starts spinning and nothing else happens.
    It asks me "Are you sure you want to buy?" and I affirm; then I get the verification screen again and I enter my password, then click the 'billing info' button... the wheel spins, spins, spins....
    Maybe Apple doesn't like my money?

    Quit the Mac App Store if it's open.
    Now launch iTunes. From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
    Click: *Reset warnings* and Reset cache* Quit iTunes.
    Restart your Mac.
    Try the Mac App Store.
    If that didn't help, open a Finder window. Select your Home folder in the Sidebar on the left then open the Library folder then the Preferences folder. Move the com.apple.appstore.plist and the com.apple.storeagent.plist files to the Trash.
    Now back to the Library folder then open the Caches folder then the com.apple.appstore folder, move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
    And from Library/Cookies move the com.apple.appstore.plist file to the Trash.
    See if that helps.

    I am incredibly amazed by BlackBerry's sales policy in England.
    Here's the story.
    I live in Sheffield UK and it was time for me to buy a new phone since my 3 year old Motorola has started to let me down. I am the type of person that does a proper research before buying anything of the market. It doesn't matter how expensive it is I need to know if it suits my needs.
    Right. It took me a while to find out that only one shop in the whole city offers BB Passport and keeps them in stock so I went to check out.
    First visit resulted in the display phone left without charger and couldn't turn on at all. Being promised it is an easy fix I came back to shop 10 minutes later to find out the guy responsible wasn't there so couldn't see the phone demonstrated.
    Went back two weeks later. Cool, phone was working but only in demo mode and I need to see (an important bit of info follows) that the phone is capable of inputting cyrillic (Bulgarian phonetic) alphabet. Yes, that's right, that's what I need as a second language.
    I asked the guy if he could turn the phone on so I can see if it is possible to type in Bulgarian. No chance - he says. We are not allowed by BlackBerry. Only authorised BB representative can do that.
    When does the guy come?
    I don't know - says he guy.
    Can we give him a call?
    We don't have a number - says the guy.
    I left dissapointed and asked the same question in few more shops around town getting even less satisfactory results.
    I want to give BB my money but they don't want to take it. This is how it worked out for me.
    What's the point in selling a top end model if you can't prove your clients it satisfies their needs?

    If not then they would be able to order it in to the branch
    As for the other big players, I havent been on there to look yet.
    If you are bothered about seeing the phone working before you purchase it then I would recommend that you go to a Voda or a cpwh shop and ask to preview the phone and then you could go online to purchase it

  • After buying Adobe Premiere from the cloud, installation by (Adobe service), my InDesign CS6 quits on startup. Need help, Adobe doesn't want to fix this.

    If you buy a cloud application while you have a totally legal Creative Suite Premium 6 it might stop working. Adobe made the installation by taking control of my computer. The girl did not seemed totally well trained... my opinion and right after that my InDesign stopped working!!! Now my If I call to get help they send you here because they don't want to spend money fixing that problem. So, I wonder if it's a good idea  to buy a new application from the cloud if you already are a good customer. It's probably safer to buy other CS6 or CS5 versions if you already have some. Otherwise you might be stuck to buy the entire package through the cloud even if you don't need the last versions. To solved my problem, I erased the applications with all the preferences on the second time around, reinstalled everything and InDesign still quits on startup. I have the same setup at home but this one does work.

  • Adobe doesn't want non-English-speaking customers?

    I am trying to help my brother who does not speak English but who has made the mistake in thinking that a non-English-speaking customer is just as valuable as any other, but it seems like he was wrong in assuming that. If there still is any support offered to people who do not speak English, it is well hidden, at least. Well, I am registering this attitude and will try to avoid Adobe's products for the future, although they do have a close to monopoly in certain areas, but there are alternatives. Those alternatives won't be of any help to people like my brother, since they are very often only in English as well. Well, this is not a question, only a reflection on the sad state of affairs. It is very sad that a company with so many ressources as Adobe and which charges so much for its applications and services, do not care more for their customers than this.

    Unfortunately that can not be altered. The other option for you can be using :
    1. Redemption Code
    2. Key card subscription.
    They are available through resellers.

    Trying to upgrade from adobe CS5 to adobe CC,
    Got to the plans, went through all the steps,
    adobe confirmed i was eligible for an upgrade,
    they took my payment details,
    then the final step i get 'Specials Service Unavailable' or something similar to that.
    Now overtime i try to upgrade or i check plans etc,
    all i get is a blank screen at creative.adobe.com/plans.
    Infact i checked on my mobile phone too and i get the same blank screen.
    Is it just me or is adobe down or???
    Very irritated as my trial just ran out and i had work to do tonight but now i can't
    wether i get the upgrade tonight or not because of the time...
    Any ideas?

    I wanted to buy an iPhone this week, because of the sale going on at Best Buy. Well, my AT&T account isn't eligible for upgrade until next month, and the people at AT&T said that normally they can change upgrade eligibility when a customer wants to buy a device, but that they can't with the iPhone because of rules set forth by Apple.
    What's the deal with this? Where can I complain to Apple about this issue?

    Right - BestBuy ≠ AT&T. As I understand it, it can happen at an AT&T Store because the store manager can authorize the early upgrade on the account. I don't think that can be dome 'centrally' (i.e. by calling AT&T customer service) so that it would show up at a BestBuy or Apple Store when you went to purchase an iPhone. Looks like you're stuck waiting a month (at which point the sale will probably be over, right?) or going to an AT&T Store and paying full price.

    You need to use the CHAT link in support to reach Adobe staff. Be sure you know the product name you are trying to cancel, Adobe have lots of products, several converters etc. I think it is ExportPDF you have, most likely.
