Adobe Download Assistant won't show other products

I have installed Adobe Download Assistant normally.
After I run the program, I know that the other products are gone except Acrobat Reader XI Pro.
My computer is Windows 7, with a 2GB RAM and an Intel Pentium Dual-core.

Jimmy97liew what Adobe software title are you wanting to download?

  • Adobe Download Assistant won't complete download Acrobat Pro xi

Adobe Download Assistant won't complete download. It says downloading 501mb, and when it does that it goes around again and again. My download speed is about 7mb, so it shouldn't take more that a couple of hours at most...

Glyphodend I would recommend downloading Acrobat XI Professional directly from Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X.

  • Adobe Download Assistant doesn't show me CS6 Design Standard as an option. Why?

Adobe Download Assistant doesn't show me CS6 Design Standard as an option. Why?

Hi Elliot, the link that I had no longer works. Apparently we are not alone in this. I got the link by going to Adobe Support and starting a chat with an Adobe rep. I believe that I went through a series of windows under CS6 Design Standard and clicked a button that said, "I still need help." I think that started the chat. Good luck!

  • Downloading a trial version - Adobe Download Assistant queue not showing

At first the download for the trial (for Illustrator) didn't even start and when I went to the solutions, I followed the instruction to simply restart ADA but it gave me the Error 106 that a download was already underway.  Unfortunately, the queue is not showing up when I sign in at all.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Unfortunately, I've already been to this page:
    Solution 4
Error 106 occurs if you have previously initiated a download and then started a second download of a different trial product before the first download finishes.
Error 105 occurs if you have started to download a product that is already downloading in the ADA queue.
Click OK to dismiss the Error 105 or Error 106 message.
In the Adobe Download Assistant, check the products in your download queue. Click the Resume button if the original download is paused.
The problem is that I cannot see my download queue at all to do anything related to the download.

    Sorry, an error has occurred.
The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author.

  • Mac OSX 10.9.4 - Adobe Download Assistant does not display any products to download

I am attempting to download the free 30 day trial of Acrobat XI Pro, and I downloaded and installed Adobe Download assistant to do so.  I successfully created an Adobe ID and have verified it.  However, when I log in with my ID into the Adobe Download Assistant, no products display as being available for download (or display - period - before or after logging in).  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, but no luck.  The screen I am looking at is as follows:
Is there something I'm missing?  I can go to "Select product" and select either "Photography", "Video" or "PDF", but when I click any of the options, nothing happens.
I couldn't seem to find a comparable problem on the forums.  Any help would be appreciated, especially insofar as I am trying to evaluate whether to purchase the product in question.

  • Adobe Download Assistant Won't Bloody Work!!!

No matter what I do -- I even followed all the steps in solution 1, excluding the mac one, numerous of times, but none would work!! It's so frustrating!! It would always give me the same thing over and over again: "Error communicating with Adobe.com (Error 101). Check your network connection, and restart Adobe Download Assitant." Bloody thing won't work even if everything is perfectly fine!! TT____TT Please help me!

    Hi chocolateu,
Please refer the KB Doc to Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html
Alternatively you can try downloading from the direct download links available at : http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html
But make sure you follow the important steps mentioned on the page before initiating the download.

  • Adobe Download assistant won't download CS5.1? error 106?

I click download and chose to put it in the program files (x86) -> adobe.  I click ok then it doesn't do anything. i click download again and it says there is already a program waiting to be downloaded (error 106).  I removed the assistant and tried again and got the same thing.

Soccermaverick25 I would recommend choosing a different location to download the install files too.  You typically only want fully installed applications to be within Program Files (x86).  It is also probable that you are having problems with being able to write to that location using the Adobe Download Assistant.
Beyond changing the download location I would also recommend the following steps:
Error 106 occurs if you have previously initiated a download and then started a second download of a different trial product before the first download finishes.
Click OK to dismiss the Error 106 message.
In the Adobe Download Assistant, check the products in your download queue. Click the Resume button  if the original download is paused.

  • Adobe Download Assistant won't let me accept the Terms and Conditions, freezes computer.

I downloaded the Adobe Download Assistant today, and when the Terms and Conditions pops up, it won't let me click the Accept or Quit button. I'm trying to accept so I can download the trial of Photoshop CS6/CS6 Extended and the program freezes after the Terms and Conditions comes up. Therefore, I can't accept and move on to download.
I tried going to the troubleshooting page for the program and it doesn't have anything relating to this problem.
    Thanks in advance!

that would be a firewall setting so if your firewall is disabled, that setting is irrelevant.
you could use a direct download of ps cs6, if you follow all 7 steps: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html
if you see a dl error page, you did not follow all 7 steps.
you can also, uninstall adobe download assistant and try reinstalling.

  • Adobe Download Assistant - Won't initiate download?

Okay, I've got the download assistant. I'm logged in on both the Adobe Website and the Adobe Download Assistant. I am running Windows 7 64bit. My internet connection is stable and everything is freshly updated.
If I attempt to initiate the download from ADA It asks me where I'd like to install it to, and then proceeds to not do anything. I don't get an install bar. I don't get any indication that it is doing anything beyond simply existing. If I attempt to try again I get the following message-
"There is already a product waiting to be added (Error 106). Please wait for the current operation to complete. If you believe you have recieved this message in error, you can restart Adobe Download Assistant and try to add the product again."
If I attempt to initiate the download from the Adobe Website I get one of two things:
If I'm not logged in on the Adobe Website, ADA asks me to log in and then I get the exact same thing as above including having to pick the product from the list as if I hadn't clicked the link on the website at all.
If I am logged in to the Adobe Website, ADA still asks me to log in. On the bottom of the application I'm offered 'Adobe Photoshop CS5.1' and an installation bar with "Sign in with your Adobe ID to continue" written underneith. When I log in it acknowledges me at the top of the application (("Welcome, [My Name]")) but nothing changes in the lower portion of the application and it still asks me to sign in to continue.
    Any suggestions?

You will want to complete solution 1 in Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html#main_Solutio n_1.  Where are you trying to save the install files too?
Alternately you can utilize the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download.

  • Adobe Download Assistant won't let me sign in?

I was going to download and install a trial version of Adobe Master Collection CS6, however, whenever I try and sign in to the assistant using my email and password, it just hangs at the sign up screen and does nothing. I'm forced to terminate the process using Windows Task Manager. This is the case every time I open Adobe Download Assistant and attempt to download the trial. I've tried restarting my computer, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have no clue what else I can try. What can I do to overcome this mess and download the trial?

Try disabling it any other security software temporarily until you determine which software is causing your difficulty.  Alternately you can also download the install files directly by following the directions listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369.

  • Adobe download Assistant won't work.

Here's what happens I open adobe download assistant trying to download Adobe After Effects CS5.5 and I sign in I choose the folder for the download and then I wait for it to start downloading and it never does. It stays saying "Sign in with youy Adobe ID to continue"

I am using Windows 7 Home Premuim (64-bit) and had to download to the Desktop as the Adobe Employee stated. For whatever reason, the Adobe trials cannot be downloaded directly to Programs. IDK if this is something that will be fixed in the future? But until that time, Desktop or Users is the best (and conceivably--only) option.

  • Adobe download assistant won't even open

When trying to download the trial for Creative suite 6- design and media, my adobe download assistant just doesn't start up at all. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling that. I still get the same issue. I get a pop-up asking me to agree to the adobe air licence agreement but after pressing "I Agree", the software quits itself. So I can't even get my downloads to start. Any ideas how I can sort this?

Do you have other applications utilizing Adobe AIR successfully?  Which operating system are you using?

  • Adobe Download assist won't let me sign in?

Ive beem trying to sign in for the past hour
    but everytime i sign in
it says" Error communicating with Adobe.com (error 100) Check your network connection and restart Adobe Download"
My network connections are working perfectly
Ive refreshed the download trial page, restarted my computer, run the program as administrator
i dont know what else to do?
    help?

The most common cause is because of the browser cookies.
Clear your browser's cookies. If you don't know how, see your browser's documentation for instructions.
Go back to the Adobe Downloads page for the product trial you are downloading and refresh it (Command+R or Ctrl+R).
If that doesn't help, then have a look at the following document that list other scenarios and solutions as well.: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html
