Hi Shag, Download this Flash Player Installer for IE to your Desktop:
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe
Be sure to disable any applications that use Flash(check your system tray, messengers, etc.)
Then close all browsers, and Run that. After it is finished, Reboot your computer.
Check your websites.

  • Reader DC does not install (blank Adobe Download Manager)

I have tried multiple times to install Reader on this Windows 7 laptop, with no luck. (edit: I finally got version 10 to install correctly, but neither 11 or DC will work).
    Things I have tried:
UAC is off, Antivirus is disabled, tried running the install program as Administrator (its an Admin account anyway). Cleaned out all the old versions, used the Reader uninstaller I found, used CCleaner to check for errors, ran SFC, etc. No trouble installing Flash, Air, or Shockwave all went fine, just Reader having the issues. This machine is Win 7 Home Premium, 64-bit
I can see the process is running, but it's just sitting there with nothing happening after 1/2 hour.
If I try to install DC version, it opens the "Adobe Download Manager" window, which is just a blank window, nothing happens.
I have tried downloading directly from the web page, the offline version (Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions  ) of both 11 and DC and still the same problem - the install IS running, but it's not doing anything.
    Any other suggestions?  Thanks!!

Hi, Is this resolved for you or do you still face issues? As suggested, (http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/) should get you going. Thanks.

  • Does Adobe Application Manager replace Adobe Download Manager?

Does Adobe Application Manager replace Adobe Download Manager?

That's not really a question. The application manager is only relevant for current CS6 and CC products, anyway, while ADM was/ is used on legacy products.

    "Adobe Flash Player 10.3":
    Server Error (162102.331.1886.302)
What could be the problem? Why am I getting this error message? I gust want to download Flash Player!
It's couldn't be true that "Adobe Download Manager" bring me an error message, didn't it?

The problem return and I get the error message again:
    "Adobe Flash Player 10.3":
    Server Error (162102.331.1886.302)
And even lower the Security Level to Medium on Internet Options => Security and in Security level for this region and press OK.
Why does it give me an "Server Error (162102.331.1886.302)" error messege?
    Is this from my computer?
Or is it from your server and most of the computer cannot connect this server?

  • Adobe Download Manager won't uninstall - causing blue screen crash

Brand new PC, Windows 7, worked fine for couple of days until I installed Flash Player 10 Active X - now the operating system continually crashes around after 5 mins each time I reboot.
    Error message
    "problem starting C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\NOS\bin\getPlus_Helper.dll
the specified module could not be found"
Having search the web, which suggested a possible problem with Flash Player 10 installation, I removed this downloaded this file: uninstall_flash_player.exe  and ran to uninsall), but Adobe Download Manager is still in the list - trying to uninstall the DLM just gives the same error message as above.
Does anyone have a solution to a) remove the DLM and b) successfully install Flash without breaking the system!

I just installed this last night and I also had this problem and still do
.  I went into windows 7 uninstall and it will not let me uninstall adobe 9 and the manager at all.  it tells me i n
eed system permissions (which I tried to do and either i did it wrong (could be) ) and it still tells me
I can uninstall it.  Due to system or administrator etc.
after 1 hour searching on how to set permissions and this is also a new pc i thought better and stopped.
Also when I go to the uninstall _control panel it gets kinked up on the removing adobe 9 so that i have to go into task manager and stop it.
I have gone into the adobe folder and manaully removed (tried) what i could delete but I still have the 9 and the manager there.
I would love to use this never had a problem before and would just like the add the flash player and reader but not the gertPlus thing /manager that started it all.
    PLEASE HELP!

  • Just completed a clean install of CS6 Photoshop on my Yosemite Mac Book Pro and the Adobe Application Manager does not work and cannot install a fresh copy from Adobe

Just re-installed a fresh copy of CS6 Photoshop on my Yosemite Mac Book Pro and somehow the Adobe Application Manager does not work and therefore cannot verify my copy.  What should I do?
I get a message saying that Adobe Application Manager may be damaged and that I should install a new version of AAM.  But after downloading a fresh copy of AAM and doing the install, the program (AAM) still will not install.  It is like an infinite loop!
    Please, someone help!
    Thanks!

    HI gener7!
I'm sorry but I am not on Creative Cloud.  I'm still on CS6 and it was the Adobe Application Manager that wasn't working and I could not install the update to this application.  My AAM version is:  8.0.0160
The link you provided was the update that I wanted to install but it does not work.  A window shows up during that install that says:
    We've encountered the following issues.
Installer failed to initialize.  Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem.
and then the link to the Adobe Support Advisor which leads to a "Adobe Support Advisor has been discontinued" page.
    Thanks!

  • Download button does nothing

I have the Adobe Creative Suite app installed (for CS6) and wish to upgrade to CC. When I go to the app center and try to download one of the software apps, pressing the Download button does nothing.
I read here that someone said to delete Adobe Air and reinstall, which I did, but the Download button STILL does nothing.
In particular, I'm first trying to download Illustrator CC.
    Any ideas?
    Heidi

Try to perform following steps and let me know.
    WIN 7 and 8 (64 bit):
Rename OOBE to OOBE_old located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
    Relaunch the Browser
    Go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
Sign in with Adobe ID and password and download CC desktop app.
    WIN 7 and 8 (32 bit):
    Rename OOBE to OOBE_old located at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe
    Relaunch the Browser
    Go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
Sign in with Adobe ID and password and download CC desktop app.

  • I can't find Photoshop CS6 Extended on the adobe download manager, only the ordinary photoshop cs6.

When i admit the trial download link of Photoshop CS6 extended on the website i'm reverted to the adobe download manager which doesn't have the extended version, only tghe normal one.
And how about x64 versions? does the normal installation pack includes both platforms?

All trials of PS are the Extended version. Only when you buy the product will the serial number determine Standard or Extended. Yes, it contains both 64bit and 32bit versions.

  • Adobe Download Manager Empty

    Hi!
As I try to install Flash Player, the Adobe Download Manager installs properly but when it launches itself, its empty. The only option is to close the download manager. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it but still does not work.
This problem is with FF 3.6.10.
    With IE Flash works fine.
    Thanks in advance!

Don't use the download manager, use the executable installer http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe (for Firefox).

  • LOst my Adobe Download Manager - big trouble

    I'm having big troubles.
I tried to upload to the newest Reader, but I was in Firefox AND IT COMPLETELY MESSED UP THE DOWNLOAD.
The more I tried to fix it, the more messed up it became.
Now I lost the Download Manager and can't get ANYTHING to download to my computer -- let alone fix this mess.
    Any advice anyone?
    Thanks,
    K.

    Thank you Pat,
The Windows Installer downloaded and installed without problem.
In it, I have nothing about Adobe Reader or Adobe Download manager.
    I do , however, have:
    Acrobat.com
    Adobe AIR
    Adobe Media Player
    When I tried to launch
    http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.1/enu/AdbeRdr910_en_US.exe,
I got the following error message (without the quotation marks):
    "C:\DOCUME1\owner\LOCALS1\Temp\DMkBq8sP.exe.part could not be saved,
because the source file could not be read.
Try again later, or contact the server administrator."
I did not, of course attempt Step 3.
Any more suggestions? Should I remove the three I mentioned above?

  • Is there a forum for Adobe Download manager?

I always seem to have trouble with this item. It
    either loads and hangs
Loads but green progress bar doesn't "fill"

    Thanks Pat
So in my situation when I updated just the other day the
adobe download manager box popped up.
As it was installing I could see the completion percentage increasing.
However, the progress bar that usually fills green as it installs, was not filling green but empty, But the percentage complete did hit 100%
After that the box for flash player insatllation appeared and I checked agree and then install. It seemed to indicate installation was done.
Does the progress bar showing empty not matter as long as the percentage complete showed 100%?
is this just one of the quirks of the adobe download manager?
Is my installtion of the flash player ok eeven though the download manager did not get the progress bar to fill Green?

  • Download manager does not open.  What should i do?

I downloaded the Adobe download manager as a prelude to downloading and installing CS6.  All my downloads default to a seperate folder I set up.  The file is there, but I cannot open it - double click, with administrative privilages, after transferring to user folder, same problem.  Does not automatically open either like some other files do.  Any help is appreciated.
Can I download CS6 directly without having to install the download manager?  Thank you.

Do you receive any specific error messages?  You are welcome to initiate a direct download by following the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369.  It seems like the download is complete however but you are having problems invoking the installer.  Which operating system are you using btw?

  • Adobe Download Manager Creative Cloud.

I’ve been back and fourth with customer service about an issue I’ve encountered after installing creative cloud, more specifically in the downloading stage. Most of the trouble-shooting steps have failed, and although I have not completed them all, I want to see if someone I the adobe community can resolve this issue.
I’ve been attempting to install creative suit on my laptop which has
windows XP version 2011 service pack 3. My internet browser is Mozilla
Originally when I purchased the subscription and after installing attempted to download the actual software to my computer and I was left with an error message stating: “the remote server is not responding in a proper manner. Please retry after a few minutes”. I did and same result.
A customer service rep provided me with a link to a patch.
Once again the install of the program worked but once I managed to get to the download part of it a new error message appeared
“Adobe Download Manager is corrupted and must be reinstalled. Download now (which I did and it takes me to the page with the patch which i was already provided), or contact customer service”.
I returned to customer service and was provided with the creative suite cleaner. I cleared out the original installation and (just in case) uninstalled my trial software Adobe Ill. (which, by the way I have no issues whatsoever installing any trial software. My only issue is with this.)
I installed adobe creative cloud again, install went well once again the same error message has before appeared (the file is corrupted) I can’t figure this out, and it’s killing me. I have on my computer an old version of photoshopcs2 and adobe flash 11 active X (I don’t know if that matters). I’ve tried many different alternatives, went has far has created a new admin account on my computer to see if that will do the trick, yet still left with that dreaded error message. I really hope someone can help me resolve this.

KittieKatNY2013 it sounds like you are experiencing network configuration issues with the Adobe Application Manager.  If you are on a managed network please work with your I.T. department to ensure that the Adobe Application Manager/PDApp.exe has proper access to the Internet.
If you are on a non-managed network then please see Sign in or activation errors | CS6, CS5.5 Subscriptions, CS6 Perpetual - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html which discusses several common causes for the difficulties which you are experiencing.
