Adobe DV is not working for Video out in CS6!
I verified my DV device is working fine with Premier Pro CS6.
Anybody ever get this to work?

First, the two audio/video output preferences in Encore CS4 and CS6 have different looks, as seen in the images below.
But both are going out through DV/Firewire. Premiere Pro CS6 has the same look and settings as Encore CS6 and the Preview goes out to the monitor.
CS4 -first image and CS6 -second image.

Are you within 30 days of purchase for the Premiere Elements 13? And, did you purchase as a download from Adobe? If so, you can

Adobe no longer sells version 12, so you would have to find a vendor who still has it in stock and purchase it. There is no way to "downgrade"
13 to 12.
What you may want to do is to download and install the Premiere Elements 12 tryout from the following web site to verify that 12 Motion
Tracking works for you; whereas 13 cannot with regard to use of video for the Motion Tracking source media.

Just got this Laptop and the audio is not working for videos

My operating system is Windows 8.1 with Bing. I just got this laptop computer for my college work and love it, but my audio does not work when I watch Videos. The laptop makes a weird tappign noise often. I need my audio to work for my course work online. The audio when I watch videos online either does not work at all or it breaks up as I am handling the laptop in the m hands. I have already did troubleshooting tests on the laptop and it can not find any problems but I know something is not right due to the noise and now my audio not working Please help me or tell me how HP can fix my laptop in a speedy mannor. It needs to go to the shop. That noise irritates me and I know that any kind of laptop pc is not suppose to make noises like that. The audio must work for my to complete my college homework and classwork online.

Adobe flash player not working for youtube

Hi,
While I was trying to install Adobe Flash Player for Microsoft Internet Explorer, the installation process got stuck half way and I tried to terminate the installation. But I had difficulty even terminating the installation process and IE and my computer crashed together. Normally I use Firefox to surf the internet, however after the computer crashed and when I restarted my computer, Youtube videos just couldn't be played in Firefox. What I have since done was to upgrade Firefox to 3.6.18 and I have uninstalled + reinstalled Adobe Flash Player. However that still doesn't solve the problem. The Youtube webpage only shows a black box with no control boxes. However other websites e.g. Metacafe, which uses Adobe Flash Player to play video files are working perfectly fine. This is highly puzzling to me and very frustrating. Could anyone please help me with it? .
How do I mark this thread as a question?
Now, I was reading other threads and came across 1 suggestion to change the http:// to https:// and now the youtube videos can be played. How amazing :O. But that would mean that everytime I have to manually change the URL to access the video. This is so strange. Any suggestion what has happened? Thanks.

Hi, Since youtube/Google have not responded to the issue, no one knows for sure what their problem is. This is what I found and posted here last night. Then what I found and posted this morning, which you evidently found about the https.
It appears either one or both are being used to try solving the issue. It's been users coming up with these, not youtube nor Google. It effects all browsers, even Chrome. The only one I haven't seen so far is Safari. Flash Player version doesn't matter, nor Operating Systems.
From last night:
YouTube just updated their video player, so the old version could still be cached in your browser causing it to fail. I would suggest rebooting, and if that's already done then make sure your drivers are up to date.
If that does not work make sure you download the new version of flash. Posted3 hours ago
No, I had the exact same problem but it worked the second I cleared my internet cache which could have to do with what another user above said about that.
Go to tools, options, clear recent history, and only check the 'cache' option, clear now, okay, and then refresh or exit it and open it again. I didn't even have to restart my browser. I'm using firefox too, by the way. Good luck! I hope this helped! Posted 2 hours ago

Now youtube is having major issues as you could read from what I posted. There is nothing wrong with your computer nor Flash Player. Here is what many users are doing in addition to clearing the cache, history etc.
They are using https instead of http. So try it. Here is one that you can check to see if it works. If so, use the https until youtube/google respond.

Until we hear from youtube or our own Flash Player Team, since I'm sure they are in touch with youtube, I don't know what else to do.
My guess is, that if youtube changed their video player for the videos, then that would be a factor. Right now it is a wait and see.

Adobe Plugins are not working for Firefox or Explorer 8

HI There,
my firefox and explorer do not open adobe reader files any more. IN firefox it opens it in a different viewer and when it prints it prints the document as an artifact and the letters are not clear (almost looks like a blurry .jpg). The plug in is installed but when I go to adobe reader under preferences then internet it says that the program is not available. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling acrobat and it still does not work. I intalled the latest Java thinking that was the issue but still the same. I can not find a way to delete and reinstall the plugins in Firefox or Explorer. Are they built into the new Adobe Reader?

Can you guide me on how to change it to adobe reader as the default. I can't figure out where this option is.
I have to get access to the computer with the probloem to pull up the error message when trying to open a pdf file in Explorer. I think it says that it can`t find the program or to try shutting adobe down and try again.

Adobe Flash Player not working for Armorgames Dead Zone

I used to play Dead Zone on Armor Games a while ago, when I recently attempted to start again, it will not start. I have followed all the troubleshooting steps provided by both you and Armor Games. I can load the game on facebook but it does not have my save file. Adobe Reader XI not working for me (Windows 7)

I just installed adobe reader XI and now I can't open any PDF files. The application itself won't even start properly. The default window opens but then it completely shutsdown without any indication of why it did so. No error report or anything.

I found the solution to the program itself not opening properly on another thread on this site. See below:
I spoke to a colleague about what was happening, and he had me reinstall Adobe Reader XI and attempt to start it. I then navigated to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader\ folder and double-clicked the Eula.exe. It displayed the End User License Agreement window and I clicked 'Accept'. After doing that I was able to start the Reader without issue and it all seems to be working fine now.
The above worked for me and now Reader XI will open properly and stay open. Hope this helps someone else.

Try this and see if it works for you. Close the Camera App in the recents tray and reboot the iPad.
Tap the home button once, then double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the camera app. Tap the home button again.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Wiki's Media Embed not working for videos

I've tried many different Compressor presets for H.264 video and nothing seems to work. When browsing the wiki locally, a video I upload via "Embed Media" works fine. But, that's running local off our Xsan so of course it's fast. When looking at our wiki remotely, after clicking the Play button, the video doesn't even appear. It's just white, no QT player control, nothing. The video files aren't outrageously large, 100-200MB for an hour of video. I've tried making it Hinted Streaming, Fast Start, tons of different things. Even when I do a tiny test video under 1MB the same thing happens so it's not the video size.
I've tried searching for a very long time online and couldn't find any recourses pointing me in the right direction.
Is there specific encoding guidelines or service that needs to be turned on? Thanks.

Touchscreen and Photos Not Working on Video Out

Alright, I'm about at my wits end. I have an iphone 3GS and the quite expensive Apple composite cables. The only thing I have been able to do is have a video/movie on my iphone play on the big screen T.V.
Here what I can't seem to do:
(1) when I try to display a game on the T.V. the game displays but the iphone's touchscreen does not respond to commands.
(2) when I try to open photos I can't see them on the big screen and, as with the games, the iphone screen does not respond to touches.
(3) when I click on You Tube I can see it on the T.V., but again, can't see it on the iphone's screen which is complete unresponsive.
I haven't a clue what I'm doing wrong because many people with non-jail broke iphones seem to be able to accomplish all of the above.
Any ideas?

I installed that file just now, and I see Wacom HID Pen and Wacom Virtual Hid Driver, but no gesture touch. hmm. is there a diagram for the inside of top half of the computer? the service manual has everything else besides that.
the only cable i could possibly imagine that is for the digitizer i've tried disconnecting and reconnecting multiple times, and absolutely nothing happens in device manager. i'll mess with it a bit more, but it seems like it just completely died or something.
I just reinstalled windows, nothing shows up initially for any wacom devices (even unknown). there's nothing under Human Interface Devices and only PS/2 Compatible Mouse under Mice and other pointing devices. when i install your wacom drivers, this shows up:

but nothing works. one of the unknown devices is the fingerprint reader.
i've looked inside enough to find out that there are two cables going to the motherboard that power/control everything in the upper half, the larger one is for the display (video/power and probably backlight), webcam, and speakers. the smaller one is for the boards on the right of the LCD, which have the digitizer connector, rotate button, and fingerprint reader. this means hp's service manual is incorrect yet again (what a surprise). they said the larger cable is for the screen and the smaller one is the webcam. the speakers/fingerprint reader/digitizer must connect using magic then.

Ive been having this problem for a month or 2 now. My computer wanted me to update adobe flash and i did but if i go onto sites like youtube i cant get the program to work. ive checked to make sure the program installed which it had but its like its inactive or an empty shell. I have internet explorer and i have Macafee. the installation worked on my laptop but not our stationed computer or my friends' computers. What is going on???

Front facing camera not working for video chat on Revolution

How come the front facing camera doesn't work on Tango? I wanted a new phone with FFC to use on Tango and for when Skype goes video on phones and it seems it don't work on Tango. Is it just Revolution or is it the same on all phones? I don't need a FFC phone to take pics of myself I have had no problem doing that on other phones, would love the feature to do what it is supposed too.

Just search for "tango" in the Market and see if anything pulls up. If this is not the case, try to uninstall and re-install the application from the Market. I recommend trying another video chat app to see if that works as well. If you can take photos and video with the FFC, there's no issue with the device.

Itunes Equalizer not working for video - only affecting songs

I have noticed that any Itunes equalizer settings that I select only affect songs in my itunes library. Videos are not affected at all by the equalizer settings. This means if I have a very dull sounding video I cannot use the equalizer to improve the audio. Does anyone know how to make the equalizer affect videos within itunes. Thanks in advance

Apple does not care. You have already bought their product and that's all that matters... They got your money and they're happy; you don't have to be. Sadly, all you've paid for is a nice logo on the back of what should be an amazing device.
Only buy an iPod/iPad/iPhone/iDevice if you are trying to impress your friends. Don't buy one if you want to be impressed, because this will not be the case. It will serve no purpose beyond making you look as though you have money to throw away.
But, since you have already given them your hard-earned money, I suggest you don't use an EQ setting. "Off" works best as it produces the least amount of distortion on the iDevices I've tried.

"Stop on last screen" not working for videos in development app

I am testing an app I created in InDesign on my iPad. Although "stop on last page" is selected for the movies and it functions properly in the Adobe Viewer, in the development app the movies go back to the poster when they are finished. This causes major problems for the functionality of my app. What can be done to fix this?
