Adobe edge animation not playing properly on Google Chrome

hi, just noticed this. finishing up my website http://www.thomasdrotardesign.com/work.html
i've just noticed that the edge animation plays the beginning of the animation then disappears completely except for a font here and there on Google Chrome.
it plays perfectly across all the other browsers. any idea what is going on here.
there is nothing nested. it is a straight time line. i am building it on a mac osX 10.9.4

DISCOVERY the reason adobe edge animation and google don't play well together is because if you use any sort of filter on your typography this will not appear on the chrome browser. sad but true. once i removed all the blur filters off my animations they started playing perfectly on chrome. this is too bad in that chrome is the largest used browser out there. thank you Redesign for your suggestion.

Edge animation not playing in browser?

I created a portfolio slideshow in Edge Animate, it plays beautiful inside of Animate but it will not play in any browser, I'm not sure why.
Any ideas why?

What do you need to know about how it is set up?
I'm on a Mac, I've used Safari, Firefox, Chrome and Opera.. doesn't play on any.

Origianlly Flex Application not shown properly in google chrome browser

When I launch my flex application in Google Crome it does not fit properly. It falls short of the full height . On clicking 'restore down' button at top right corner followed by 'maximize' , then the application fully fits within the browser window.
Any input why it happens ??

We run our app in Mozilla. I need to check it out in IE.
I noticed in our app (one of my developers uses Safari on a Macintosh), that the tree control looks much different in Safari, and has huge gaps and blank spots in the text labels of the leaf nodes.
We logged it as a bug in our app, but it appears it's a bug in the FLEX framework??

Trackpad not working properly with google Chrome

Today, my trackpad has ceased to scroll up and down pages in Google Chrome. It works fine in safari and with applications, but today for no apparent reason it has stopped being able to scroll the Google Chrome browser. Wierd!

There is a history of problems with Google Chrome, Lion and to some degree, trackpads. You should ask your self how much you need Google Chrome which at best absorbs memory at a rate of knots. Look at 'More like this" to your right >>>
Many people take Chrome for the extentions available but again, from my experience, they are not always tested with Macs and conflict readily with each other.
Do some digging via Google and our forum search pages and you may be inclined to stick to Safari.

PDFs are not opening properly within Google Chrome

Hi i cannot open pdf documents in google chrome browser but it can be opened with ie and mozila. My business page is listed here and i tried converted this with google chrome .it didnt work please let me know

Sound in Edge Animation not playing in iPad

Hi everyone,
I'm developing a very simple animation in Edge for a Christmas Card (http://www.luiscovas.com/MTS/ecard_MTS_som.html) which works perfectly in desktop browsers. Unfortunatly, when I try it in iPad (either with Safari or Chrome) the sound doesn't play (the animation does, but not the sound).
I used buzz.js, following this tutorial - http://www.edgedocks.com/content/edge-animate-adding-sound-effects
Does anyone nows why the sound doesn't play in iPad? I don't know if this issue only happens with IOS or if it also happens with Android...
I have to deliver this proposal by tomorrow and I'm kind of desperate!

I am having similar issues getting my Edge Animate to work on iPhones. I used the buzz like everyone else but am confused about the trigger. That means I have to have a button? And can I have it start both the music and animation?
I also have an alternate Flash version for desktops like the other poster here but now my clients like the idea of the mobile version and want it. It works perfectly on my Galaxy 3. Here is the link http://www.blcgraphics.com/ecard2/hhic2013e.html.

Youtube videos do not play properly

I appreciate any suggestions with this problem. I have a Mac G4 laptop (PowerPC) running OS 10.4
Most web videos do not play properly on my computer, especially if they use Adobe Flash Player. (QuickTime videos play fine.)
I have had my internet connections checked by my provider, and the speed is very good, and the configuration is OK, so they do not understand why I am having trouble. When I try to play YouTube videos, I get a slideshow, with a new frame every 2 or 3 seconds. I have tried using my computer on my friend's internet connection, and it has the same problem. My friend can watch the same YouTube video perfectly well on his own computer, even though his download speed is much slower than mine.
I have already tried the following fixes several times:
complete uninstall of old versions of Flash Player
reinstall of the latest version of Flash Player. (My computer does recognize that the player is there, as I said, it just plays the video as a slideshow.)
Repairing permissions and restarting
resetting Safari, manually clearing cache, cookies, etc. (Although I also have the same problem in Firefox)
Downgrading to Flash Player 9
Trashing QuickTime Plugin.webplugin
Trying to trash all DivX files (I don't have any, it turns out)
making sure audio midi settings are for 44.1
trashing the Macromedia preferences folder
None of these things have helped me. Thank you in advance for any other ideas of things to try.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. My computer NEVER played flash videos properly, with any version of Flash. Considering that Flash is maxxing out my CPU power (as measured by the Activity Meter) I suppose that slow CPU speed really IS the cause of my problem. Since you have a faster computer, and your computer used to play the videos OK, it seems likely that your problem is SOME OTHER mysterious problem.

I looked on Adobe's site and they "advertise" fillable forms for the iPhone and Android markets, but on the Windows Phone tab, that is mysteriously missing. lol Maybe it will come later? Greetings! Has anyone been able to download and test Adobe Edge Animation? Its link takes me around the promotion page again, with no option to download it. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated!!

Unfortunately, purchasing edge animate as single app is not available now.
You will have to opt for creative cloud complete plan.
However with the complete creative cloud application you will be entitled for all CC application including online services.

Edge Animation not woking on remote server?

Hi I'm new to Edge, and am having problems getting my animated file to work on a remote server its a simle animation (moving background image).
It works ok on my local computer in Dreamweaver and Preview in Browser(s) ok? I thought it may be something to do with the .js files linking from the html file? but ime not clever enough to work that out??
Any help / pointers would be much appreciated..

You did not upload the sub folder(s).
There should be a required subfolder called /edge_includes with a few files in it.
If your project uses images then there should also be another sub folder called /images.
As it stands now, it loos like you copied the images and the edge.1.5.0.min.js files out of their respective folders and placed them into the root.

Tell edge animation to play

Hi, Is it possible to tell an edge animation to play from a button widget in muse?

Sorry to say but there's not much going on between the two camps, Muse and Edge A that is. Like you, I subscribe to Muse but since I discovered EA...well...
Thing is, dragging the aimated button to the trigger container just overlays it which effectively hides it. Hence, it will simply not work as a trigger to launch lightbox. I myself had the same idea....but its more involved that this. As always.
A possible solution might be to design your lightbox and simply use the built in trigger for now - go ahead and publish the site like this. View your site in a browser of your choice then click on the trigger which will reveal the URL that launches the Lightbox feature. Copy this in the browser. Cheeky eh?
Then go back to your button in Edge A (select it) and add an on click event handler (look for {} to the left of the element and select click event). Using the snippets on the right-hand plane choose add URL and paste the link from the clipboard between the " " so when the button is clicked it references the lightbox. Go back to Muse and position your edge button again and publish again. Its very long winded I know. Get it? Will it work? dunno. Have I tried it? no. But the logic is faultless, because the URL trigger on your button should point to the lightbox...thats the theory anyway.
Hope this is of some help and hope it works...might as well give it a try eh?...this is how I discovered Edge A trying to animate buttons etc. In the end I decided to build my entire site using it.

Adobe Edge animation glitching html page and SVG disappearing

Hi all,
I am having an issue with an Adobe Edge animation that I am making for a client - I am fairly new to Edge so this may be an easy fix!
There is an SVG named chassis (Looks like a brown tadpole) that halfway through the animation - disappears and then glitches the webpage by drawing a white background that overlaps everything...
I have set the background in Edge to transparent so I don't know why this is happening, even in the 'Preview in browser' option it happens.

Can you try out one thing. We suspect this issue is caused because of the anti-scaling which we apply.
Just try to disable anti scaling.Follow the steps below :
This scale factor can be changed from:
1. Close Animate
2. Open the preference folder:
a. Windows: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Edge Animate\4.0.0\
b. Mac: /Users/{username}/Library/Prefrences/Adobe/EdgeAnimate/4.0.0/
3. Open the AppPrefs.xml file in a text editor.
4. Search for the Current line in AppPrefs.xml:
<key>SvgAntiScaleFactor</key>
<float>10</float>
Update this to:
<key>SvgAntiScaleFactor</key>
<float>1</float>
5. Launch Animate.
However note: This setting will work only for new animate content that you create after this setting is applied - i.e it will work only for newly pasted SVG’s in a new composition.
Exiting Animate compositions opened after applying the setting(Step 5 above) will still show the same problem. You will need to delete the SVG and copy-paste again.
Do let us know if this solution helps in your case too.
