Adobe Edge Reflow and Phonegap: To Build a Ipad and Smartphone app

Hi please I need some advise. We are about to start a project for a client and we've been thinking that we don't want to build the tablet app separately and also the phone app separately. So we decided to use Adobe edge reflow to start the design in the tablet form first and set breakpoints for the phone app so that a single app can be downloaded from the store for both phones and tablets. The intention of course is that we are building a responsive app. Is this workflow the right decision before we start pumping in time and human resources?

Not sure if this helps you. I'm going through the same problem. Even raised this issue here in the forum and nobody could help me. So I sought help forum PhoneGapBuild. Looks like PhoneGapBuild not recognize <audio> of html5, so need to use api audio PhoneGapBuild own. Here's a link to my post. Tutorial on how to make by Chris Griffith. I hope this helps you too.

1. I am running on Windows 8.1
2. When running the installer file from https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/reflow I get the following choice
I click "OK" which doesn't do anything for me (CC is off).
I turn CC on and run the installer again. I get the following window that within few settings disappears:
Then - just for half a second it says "Launching Creative Cloud desktop" and then it brings CC to front, and that's all.
RF still not there.
3. I spoke ta support agent on the Adobe chat on Friday. He looked into my computer for an hour. Uninstalled After Effects (after failing to update it). For some reason all apps disappeared from the list. They then reappeared after he opened PS.
This morning After Effects is still showing up in my system and is operational.
Weird.
4. At the end the agent suggested maybe Firewall is the problem here. Trying that out now.

I don't think there is a way for Edge Code. I'm not sure about Reflow.
Why don't you just upgrade? That will stop the notifications.

Is it planned to add feature for creating tables and lists in Adobe Edge Reflow?

First of all, thank you very much guys for all your work!
In my opinion Adobe Edge Reflow is missing quite important features, like creating tables and lists. For me it's a reason why I can't switch to Reflow. Any plans for implementing these? Is there any place where I can see the list of planned feature implementation? Didn't find it.

Missing tables is a big one for me too, especially when doing data-grids. My last prototype was using multiple responsive data-grids where I used the simpler essential/optional hide column approach, instead of stacking or scrolling the data. I had used Reflow in the past for basic content prototypes... but had to do this one by hand... took longer. Using divs for this did not collapse properly in all the browsers, plus the back-end team use widgets that only generate tables. Here is the example:

Will Adobe make a product that is Adobe Muse combined with Adobe Edge Reflow?

I love how Adobe Muse works, its simple and very easy to learn. The only issue I have with the program is, the sites that I produce from Muse is not a fully responsive site. I was wondering if Adobe will allow us to set-up our own breakpoints in the future like Adobe Edge Reflow.

They work very differently, what i would like (and this section of the forum isn't meant for feature requests)
is when you create a new muse site it asks what kind of site you want:
Responsive
static
blog
etc.... that would be nice.
or just make it responsive.
But i doubt this will happen soon

I'm confused on how these new Edge products will work into the product line in relation to Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver CS6 has some very effective responsive web design capabilities which I am using heavily, but it seems like with Edge Reflow and Edge Code, Adobe might be steering things in a different direction.
I am a developer, and spend a good portion of my days in Dreamweaver. I've also got a substantial investment on Dreamweaver extensions. Can you shed some light on how Edge products are meant to complement or compete with Dreamweaver? It seems like you need to sell Dreamweaver and the Edge products to the same audience. How's that going to work?

also will this work with external stylesheets that you can load into the program. for instance, there could be an FTP section where you can put in FTP addresses for various websites. You log into the FTP for a site, it loads all of the external CSS files, and then you can start tweaking the CSS that's already available in them visually, add breakpoints, etc. instead of starting from scratch.

This is really nice, but how does it fit into the workflow in creating and editing a web site? I'd like to see an example of what you do with it once you've created a beautiful re-flowing page.

I am not sure of the reasoning behind either or with the uses of tags. Unordered lists are used industry wide in both scenarios for navigation and content highlighting / management. In other adobe products and also in jquery unordered lists are also used as mechanisms for menus along with DIV's.
My feedback would be to make tags work how the W3C have written the standards for them and suggestions for roles.
Taken from the W3C's website the UL tag can be used for:
4.4 Grouping content — HTML5
list , directory, group, listbox, menu, menubar, presentation, tablist, toolbar or tree.
Some of these have multiple meanings as used in the real world for instance toolbar can also be considered a navigation bar and so could menubar. I use UL's also to make up a list box for displaying content which can be inside or make up a sidebar or aside. W3schools also has specific examples for the tags.

There is no way to add animations in Reflow. If you want to add animation, then you can either use Muse which has many slider plugins to choose form or use the exported Reflow code in Brackets and add JavaScript for animating images there using various jquery plugins http://www.jssor.com/

After creating and saving your Edge Reflow project, you can use View-> Preview In Chrome. This will create your HTML and CSS in your project folder's "assets" directory. While our goal with this code is to provide a way for you to preview and share your designs in the browser (not to output production quality code), you can do anything you'd like with the output.

Adobe Edge Reflow is not listed as an application to download?

I'm trying to install adobe edge reflow, but it doesn't seem to be listed in my applications to download. I have both Edge animate, and Edge Inspect. But no Reflow or Code.

I've attempted multiple times, and even went as far as creating a separate account on different computers to even get the trial edition. Any ideas?

Edge Reflow and responsive Bootstrap

Is it possible to use Adobe Edge Reflow with an existing front-end framework like Bootstrap?
It would be nice to be able to work and modify Bootstrap elements (like buttons and forms) in Reflow. Do the responsive layouts. And then export CSS that could be used with the Responsive Bootstrap Framework.

Please do! I think the possibility to work with the leading standard frameworks (ie Bootstrap) is a huge success factor for this editor. My first impression is that it seems like a nice program. Designing in Photoshop is slow when it comes to responsive layout. And the fact that the PS renders fonts so different from the webkit engine and lacks CSS effects meens that designers have to look for something else. But if this prg is going to be a "hit" it have to output decent HTML/CSS.
