Since the crash occurs at the same point, you should be able to identify during which photo loading does it occur.  Once you know this, I suggest isolate the problem by moving the photo temporarily to another folder and then try again to see if it still crashes.
Good luck and post back what happens by doing this.

  • Re-Arranging Thumbnails In Adobe Elements 6 Organiser

    Hi folks,
Is there a way of re-arranging the order of thumbnails in my Adobe Elements 6 organiser. When I uploaded all of my images to the organiser, for some reason they did not come out in the exact order I had them within my "my pictures" file on my pc so I want to shuffle them around. I've tried to drag them out of position but that doesn't seem to work.
Any ideas if this is possible?
    Thanks
    Ian

    Ian,
Windows Explorer (which is probably what you used to look at the My Pictures folder) has a default sequence of File Name, whereas the Organizer primarily sequences photos based on date the photo was taken.
However, the Organizer does have a choice of viewing based on
    b Folder Location
which will use File Name sequence.
So you could use Folder Location view, but I suggest that you post a description of how you want to use these photos for which you intend to modify their sequence.
The PSE 6 Organizer has a function called an
    b Album
which can have whatever sequence you wish to establish by drag and drop. Whether that is the best choice for you will depend on your intended use.

  • I have set up my photos in Adobe Elements 12 organiser and wish to download them to Snapfish in order to create a photobook, but it seems I am unable to do this.  Adobe do not provide a hardcopy photobook service

I have set up my photos in Adobe Elements 12 organiser and wish to download them to Snapfish in order to create a photobook, but it seems I am unable to do this.  Adobe do not provide a hardcopy photobook service.  Can anyone help me please?  I don't want to have to reformat all my photos.  It has taken me the whole week to do it in Adobe Elements.  I was unaware that Adobe no longer have this service as it misleadingly appears that they do.

You are in the wrong forum.  We don't do Elements here.
This is the Photoshop proper forum.  There's no "Organizer" (American spelling) in Photoshop.
    The "Elements" forum is here:
Community: Photoshop Elements | Adobe Community
Incidentally you are not addressing Adobe here.
I've been using Adobe products for very, very close to 30 years, and I have never hear of an "Adobe photo book service".

  • Adobe elements 6 keeps crashing since upgrading iPhotos on Yosemite

Adobe elements keeps crashing every time I try to open a photo.
This seems to have started since I installed the Photos app on my Macbook Air.

Photos is not iPhoto and doesn't work at all the same way. You must export the photos from Photos, then open those copies in PSE. There is no external editor function in Photos at all.

  • Photoshop Elements 8 Organiser crashes on startup

    Hi,
I have had a stable installation of PE8 for over a year but today when I came to run the organiser it crashed immediately on startup and has resolutely continued to do so whatever I've tried.
I de-installed it (and Premiere Elements 8) and have reinstalled Photoshop E8 on its own but this has not fixed the poblem.  I cannot append my email address to the crash report because, laughably, it believes the email address "[email protected]" is malformed.  The crash reports your system is receiving will therefore have the email address "[email protected]" instead (assuming you have access to these reports).
    Please help me,
    Mike

Try renaming the folder "Elements Organizer" and "Online Services". These folder are present at C:\Users\<current user>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe for Win 7.
After renaming these folders, application should launch without crashing. For Win XP they are present at correponding location for current user.

  • Elements 8 ORGANISER crashes on opening

with apologies if this has been asked before. I have just bought and installed PSE 8. When I originally opened Organiser it wanted me to show all of the photos I had on my system (about 1400) and it then created a catalogue. Subsequently when I try to open Organiser it crashes. I have peservered and even uninstalled the entire program suite and reinstalled it. Edit works fine but 5 seconds after opening Organiser it shuts down the Organiser bit and reports the crash screen. I read somewhere to turn off the Auto Analyser but Organiser is not open long enough before it crashes to allow me to access this option. Anyone got any ideas please. I am not techy at all but I will have a go at tweeking if I have to but surely as a brand new piece of software it should run without any problem. - R 27/01/10

Hi you could try the steps mentioned at John's Page - http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/photoshop-elements-faq.htm#_Troubleshooting_Organizer_ crashes
    Hope that solves your problem.

  • Elements 12 Organiser Crashes!

I installed Elements 12 without a problem but since I've added the pictures on my laptops harddrive to Organiser it loads and then promptly closes saying " Elements 12 Organizer has stopped working, A problem caused the program to stop working correctly",
the only option is to close the program. Whilst Editor seems to be working fine and lets me select photos from My Pictures I'm extremely disappointed with this latest version of Elements.

RLuba, there is a much longer thread on this problem here:

  • Adobe Elements 8 Mac Crashing

    Hi
    Help!!
I have an issue whereby AE8 (Mac) Crashes constantly, mainly when saving a file via save for web but sometimes on opening a file and when I exit it will shut down but come up with a crash report. Its getting really frustrating. I have googled the problem and it appears others are experiencing the same thing. I have followed suggested solutions e.g. remove preferences in user/library/application support/adobe, the use disk utility to repair disk permissions. But it still happens. I got frustrated last night and deleted the Adobe folder under application support but this didn't resolve it. Sometimes I get to save one image, it seems OK, amend it and go to re-save and then ... crash. There are some suggestions it could be a memory issue? Not sure about this as I use memory intensive apps on my laptop such as Logic and its a stable as anything. Is there anything else I should be looking at. Someone suggested scanner driver might be the issue? I only downloaded the application 2 days ago. I ran an AE8 update and it found some, installed those but it didn't resole it. Is there anything under the library/application support/ on the main drive I should be considering? Nothing else crashes !!
    I am using
Macbook, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.16GHz, 2GB Ram, Mac OSX 10.6.1, GPU Intel GMA 950 64M
    Thanks

  • Reinstall of adobe elements after computer crash

My dell computer decided not to boot. Had to do a system reset. All after purchase programs have to be reinstalled, but my data is still intact. What is the best way to do this? I am not sure where the "catalog" is located. If it is under users then it is safe; if not, I am not sure. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just give it a go anyway, there's a fair chance it will work, if it doesn't you will have to call Adobe, the program will give you a phone number to call.

  • Adobe elements 10 crashing

Adobe elements 10 keeps crashing and it used to work.  Why?  Fix?

    Hi,
Please try couple of probable solutions as mentioned below:
    Solution 1:
    1. Close Elements.
    2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Editor.
    3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences.
Solution 2: In case any network printer is attached try to launch without network or printer uninstall or make different printer as default.
Solution 3: Try launching with anti-virus off or removing PSE from conflicting list.
    Solution 4:
On the drive on which you have installed PSE,on my machine it is on C:
Go  to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements  10\Locales\<locale>\Plug-Ins\Import-Exportand you will find twain  plug-in. Remove that plug-in from that location and copy it somewhere  else.
Now launch PSE and check if it works.

  • Adobes Elements 13

My Adobe Elements 13 keeps crashing when I go to add photos.  I can browse around a bit, but as soon as I hit OPEN and choose PHOTOS it crashes and closes out.  I updated Photoshop from the Help menu and my Mac softwares and OS are up to date.  I don't know what else it could be.  Any help is much appreciated.  Thank you.

For Windows, do NOT rely on Windows Update to have current driver information
•-you need to go direct to the vendor web site and check updates for yourself

  • Elements 11: Organiser always crashes when closing Editor

Hi there! I have had Elements 11 on my desktop for about two months with no problem. In the last few weeks, every time I exit the editor, the organiser crashes, freezes and needs to shut down. I have tried deleting the preferences using Shift, Ctrl, Alt on start up of the organiser, which temporarily fixes the issue, but only until next time I open Elements. I am running Windows 7, 64 bit. How do I fix this? Thanks very much

You mention stopping active file monitor, but you don't say anything about stopping autoanalyzer, which is far more likely to cause this than anything mentioned in your post. (organizer preferences>media analysis, shut off everything except face recognition, if you use that)

    Welcome to the forum.
As your system setup will likely be much different from that of Konrad's, I would start a new thread, and in it, list the full system in detail, as Konrad did. This ARTICLE will give you tips on the info that would be very useful.
In Konrad's case, the C:\ was filled to about capacity, so could well have been a contributing factor. That is why full I/O specs. will be very, very useful.
    Good luck,

  • Adobe Premier Elements DVACORE.DLL Crash

Premier Elements 12 keep crashing on startup or shortly after startup with the same error message.  Here's the problem details:

Processor is an Intel Core i7-2760QM 2.4GHz
Display is an NVIDIA NVS 315
Here is what I have done so far:
    1. Updated the latest graphics card from Nvidia website directly (manufacturer)
    2. Tried installing older legacy versions of the driver (11 or 12 previous versions)
    3. Uninstalled antivirus (McAfee)
    4. Reinstalled antivirus and checked instances for programs
    5. Checked Nvidia control panels and changed stereoscopic and 3D settings
    6. Running in msconfig (safe boot with minimal resources) I did this to see if a service or process would be causing the crash
After reading this software's forums and a several other suggestions (spend probably over 40 hours on reading and trying fixes) there doesn't seem to be a fix for this. What is the cause of this crash?

Thanks for the follow ups. Sorry that the news were not better.
I am not sure how worthwhile it might be, but here are some possibilities
    a. create a new User Account with Administrative Privileges and try to install and run Premiere Elements 12 there.
    b. Download and install a new set of Premiere Elements 12 installation files...or for 13 for that matter...
    http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-12-direct-download-links-premiere.html
    or
Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 Direct Download Links, Premiere too | ProDesignTools
When you go this route, you need to read and carry out carefully the web page's "Note: Very Important Instructions"
in order to avoid an Access Denied message.
The history on the dvacore.dll is encouraging. But, please review and consider.
Please update us on your progress when your schedule permits.
    Thank you.
