Adobe elements 12 activation

I just purchased adobe elements 12. I can get to the opening screen where it says organizer/video editor. I am able to sign in but I can't get to screen where I enter my serial number to fully activate product. I get stuck on the opening screen where purple/black wavy line keeps scrolling.

Try reinstalling.

When I input serial codes into Adobe Elements Premier and Photoshop 12, I am told that the codes can not be veriified. However, when I register the products to my account the codes work? How do I get the products to activate? Thank You

Adobe is the only one who can address and correct activation matters. We are not Adobe. Just user to user.

There was a Mac serial number invalid issue a while back. I will see if I can find it. But, Adobe Chat should be your target for the resolution here.

ACTIVATION ERROR IN ADOBE ELEMENTS

HELLO!
I'VE HAD MY SOFTWARE INSTALLED IN 2 COMPUTERS. ONE OF THEM CRASHED AND HAD TO BUY A NEW ONE. NOW ADOBE ELEMENTS DOES NOT WANT TO INSTALL IN MY NEW COMPUTER BECAUSE IT STATES THAT THE SOFTWARE IS BEING INSTALLED PREVIOUSLY IN 2 COMPUTERS. I CAN'T DEACTIVATE THE OTHER BECAUSE THE COMPUTER IS NOT AVAILABLE, SO, SOFTWARE IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THAT COMPUTER. HOW CAN I FIX THIS?

1. What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13 running on?
2. With few exceptions, your computer does not need to be connected to the Internet to run Premiere Elements 13. You do for product activation and then later for first time use of certain features. Are you getting any MPEG2 Activation messages or something like that? Are you offline because you choose not to connect to the Internet or because your Internet service is not working?
3. What are the properties of this HD video that you cannot import into Premiere Elements?
Video compression
Audio compression
Frame Size
Frame Rate
Interlaced or Progressive
File Extension
Pixel Aspect Ratio
Much of that information can be interred by knowing the brand/model/settings for the camera that recorded the video.
4. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with Premiere Elements?
Let us start here and then we can decide what next. If you are new to the program or video editing and do not understand the questions

Adobe Element Licensing in disaster recovery

We have Adobe Element installed locally on various pc's in our company. We are currently designing a DR solution and an am interested in how to successfully implement this with Adobe Elements V2. We are proposing loading Adobe Elements in a DR Citrix farm.
Reading through the EULA, you can either
1) Run Elements locally or
2) Assign the elements license to a device and have that device access Elements through citrix.
If we install elements in DR citrix environment, would we then have to re-purchase Adobe Element license for every device that could access Elements, as we have used up our install license by installing them locally??

i guess the main question is do you want to define this license server as a secondary RDS license in your GPO or will you manually change the GPO option in the event of a DR? is this DR site actively accessible or it will only become available once
DR has been invoked?
as for compliance...not sure how that would work, you would probably use the same license activation on your DR as you would in your production but whether that's abiding by the EULA is something I've never encountered to answer, someone else here might
know

Having the same problem. Done everything said in here Sign in, activation, or connection errors | CS5.5 and later but nothing helps, I have reinstalled this twice. I have taken firewall and virusprotection off (never going to do that again, terrible mess...).
I have paid nearly €80 (yes, this cost´s here in Europe this much) for this upgrade DVD and worked for several hours trying to install this. I must say, that I am extreamly disappointed.

Need Adobe Elements 11 Support from Adobe

A few weeks back I spent 6 hours on line with your support staff trying to convert my 42GB Elements 9.0 catalog to Elements 11. Had we been able to also talk on the phone we would have spent a lot less time. Anyway, I now have 42GB’s worth of temporary picture files all over my computer. I only want one place that my calendar points to, and that is on my C drive at: C:\Photos\01-16-10 and nowhere else. Pictures I loaded in the last few weeks are there, but linked photos before the conversion are at: C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs\pSE11. I want all my photos to be in my Elements 11 catalog to point to my C drive location above. Also, each time I launch 11 it spends 25 minutes updating with no changes since my last update. Is this going to be a normal activity? I also see a temporary catalog backup that I don’t need, I back up on an external drive.

When you make a DNG that's like making another raw file, so you will need to convert the DNG file just like your original raw. Don't use the Save button in the raw converter. That's just a link to the DNG converter. Normally you would click Open instead and then save in the editor as a jpg or other image format of your choice.

On each computer:
Open iTunes. Select Preferences from the iTunes menu and click on the Advanced icon in the toolbar. At the top you will see a box showing the path to your iTunes library. Click on the Change button, navigate to the location for the library on your external drive, select it and click on the Open button. Note this permanently changes the library's location on that computer. That means you cannot access your music unless the external drive is connected.
If you don't want a permanent change, then press the OPTION key and hold it down while you launch iTunes. iTunes will then prompt you to select the library you wish to open for that session.

How do I find duplicates in Adobe Elements 8?

Like many others, I have tons of photos on my computer - many duplicates. My primary concern at this point, however, results from the fact that a cousin and I have just scanned over 1500 ancestral photos and documents, newspaper clippings, etc. from many albums we've just inherited. She numbered the photos she scanned, I named the ones I scanned. Now we find that there were many duplicates of photos between the two of us, and we would like to find those to reduce the huge number of files.
Does Adobe Elements easily locate duplicate images so those can be deleted? How about if they have different file names? Pleeeeeze tell me we can do this.
Also, does Adobe Element 8 batch re-name files, in case we want to do that in the future with these?
I'm looking at finding an easy and inexpensive (free? ) course for Adobe 8 as I haven't really used it that much yet. Some of the photos are 100+ years-old and will need some editing.

Don't try File>>Process Multiple Files to rename if you have already imported the photos into the PSE Organizer.
There is a FAQ on how to find suspected duplicates in PSE8 Organizer. http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/photoshop-elements-faq.htm#_Find_and_delete I haven't tried this so I can't say how well it works.

If you are working in PSE13, please update it to latest PSE13.1 update available and see if it helps.
To apply update, you can go to Help > Updates and there you can see PSE13.1 update.
