Adobe Email Service

I cannot get the sharing of my pictures to work as an email attachment or as photomail.my gmail  I went to Preferences and saw that it was set up for adobe email service.  Nothing worked with that setting so I changed to the Windows mail setting since I do have Windows Live on my computer.  The email and photo mail still would not go.  Now I get a box that says I need to make an association with my programs in order to make sure the Windows mail will work for me. I should add that I use an aol account and a gmail account.  It appears that Windows Live works with my gmail account.  I shanged to Windows Live in the control panel settings but nothing has changed with the Elements email service for photo attachments.  I hope this all makes some sense!
I thank you for your assistance.
Dwight Donnelly

I’ve found it usually works best with web mail via Adobe Email Service after obtaining verification. I know some email services block bulk email completely and I’ve only tested it with Gmail which works fine. Give it a try. Before you start it will help to check your internet security settings. If they are set to High, reduce the settings to Medium temporarily. Then follow these instructions.
1. Log in to your mail provider on the web and add the following email to your address/contacts book.
[email protected]
2. Open Organizer and on the menu click:
Edit >> Preferences >> Sharing
3. Choose Adobe Email Service from the client dropdown menu.
4. Add your name and email address to the fields provided and click OK
5. Test the system (first use only)  by selecting a photo in organizer and choosing Share >> Photo Mail then click Next
6. Choose a contact then click  Next
7. Click Next Step, then click Next - the sender verification dialog will open.
8. Check you have spelt your email address correctly and hit the Resend E-Mail button.
9. Go to your inbox (also check spam) and when the Adobe mailer message is received copy (Ctrl+C) the long verification code.
10. Return to the verification dialog and paste it (Ctrl+V) into the Sender verification field and click OK. Wait for validation confirmation then click OK to continue

  • In August installed PE12  on Windows Vista with incorrect Sharing Preference for Email Client. Shows default Adobe Email Service How do I change it to Windows Mail?

Had PE6 previously to installing PE12 on Windows Vista.  PE 12 installation went OK except for the Sharing Preference for the Email Client. Existing  PE12 client is the default Adobe email service not the correct Windows Mail for Vista. How do I make this change..

    Hi,
I think that for PSE 12, you may need to switch to Windows Live Mail
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=29224
You may find that you then also need the following fix.
Freeze or error “There is no email program” | Share via email | Elements Organizer | Windows 7
I think that the problem is that the new versions of PSE do not know where to look for the mail client.

  • PSE8 crashes when I try to email photos using Adobe Email Service

The PSE8 Organizer crashes when I attempt to email photos.  In the 2 months that I have owned this program it has crashed several other times, but the current problem with emailing photos always occurs at the same step in the process.  I have read all the Help topics related to emailing from this program and it appears that my computer is set-up correctly.  The email client is selected as Adobe Email Service.  I have received a "verification code", although I have never gotten far enough into the process to enter it.  I'm able to go through all the steps to create the email (selecting the photos, typing a message, and selecting recipients).  A preview of the email briefly appears, but the program crashes before the hourglass goes away - so I never get to click on "send".
Is there a bug in the program?  Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
    Thank you

Hi Sourabh:  Many thanks for the courtesy of your
response.  Last night I again tried sending a
test image to my wife's computer.  I am pasting a
copy of what comes through.  There is no actual
image but only this "text" of letters, numbers
and characters which I presume is the ingredients
of an image.  I have cut off some of the pasted
message since it is quite long and I only want to
convey a sample so as to show what come
through.  Got any ideas?  Thanks again.  Ed

  • PSE 5 Stops Running When Attempting Adobe Email Service

A student of mine is runing PSE 5.02 on Vista. She has been using Adobe Email Service for some time. Recently, when she clicks on Next that would normally send the email, PSE 5 just sits with the hourglass, and at some point the "Not Respnding" message appears.
I uninstalled and then Reinstalled the program and the patch required for running on Vista. Under the Sharing Preferences, PSE 5 presented the dialogue for retrieving the code from Adobe to use the service, which we followed. The code had not returnd yet, but we attempted to send an email attachment anyway. We expected to see the screen asking for the code that was to be emailed to her.
PSE 5 never asked for the code, but proceeded to the same place in the send process and as before displayed the hourglass for some period and then quit responding altogether.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? I wonder if it could be a recent MS Vista update that is causing it.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
    Don S.

    Hi Don,
Please try again to see if you are able to send the email. This might be Email sever issue at that time.
    Thanks,
    Sourabh

  • No "Adobe email Service" in Client drop down list

I'd like to use Gmail to send photos, but all I have is "mail" in the list.  I'm using a Mac.

    Set default web-based client
For web-based email service like Google or Yahoo Mail, you can use the Adobe email Service to send Photo Mail directly to recipients.
Select Edit > Preferences > Sharing (Windows), or Adobe Elements Organizer 11 > Preferences > Sharing (Mac OS).
Select Adobe E-mail Service from the E-mail Client menu.
Enter your name and email address.
Click OK. The first time you use Adobe E-mail Service, a verification email is sent to the address you entered in the Preferences dialog box.
In the body of the email, you’ll see a Sender Verification code. When prompted to enter the code, copy the code from the verification email, paste it into the dialog box, and then click OK.
When your email is verified, click OK. Now you can send email directly from Elements Organizer whenever you’re connected to the Internet.
But this is wrong. Mail.app is your only option via pse in OS X, and there is no photomail at all on a mac, only attachments. That part of the help file is correct.

  • Adobe Email Service verification code

This is a trial version of Elements 11.
I want to use Adobe Email Service to send pictures. The promised verificatiopn email is received by my email address but there is no verification code. I click the link to verify my email address and it is verified but still no verification code.
I can't send pictures using Adonbe Email Service without a verification code. What next??

Please add [email protected] to you contacts and then do a Resend for this verification code.
Which account (gmail, yahoo etc.) are you linking adobe photomail service to?
    Thanks

  • Adobe Email service won't accept sender verification code

Adobe Email service issued me a  Sender Verification code to allow me to attach images to emails
in the PSE 8 Stationery and Layouts wizard. The process worked without the code in Vista. I now use WIN-7.
So far, it has rejected the code everytime I entered it.  Each time I requested the code, Adobe resent the same number.
Where am I or Adobe or PSE erring? What is the solution?

that's not a serial number.  Find your serial number quickly

  • Adobe Email Service under PSE8 Win7/64

PSE8 under Win7 Pro 64bit is running perfectly for me.  I have Adobe email Service selected as a  preference because I use Gmail and dont need Outlook.  When I share image(s) PSE8 goes through all the steps and produces the email text to: and "sharing" fields.  I now click SEND, and a bar moves from L to R, and everything looks cool, but no email or image ever arrives.  What am I doing wrong?
I could install PSE8 under my Virtual XP in parallel, but that is a lot of work and needless synchronizing.
    Edwin M

I am having the exact same issue with the same setup.  PSE8, Win7/64.  Using "Adobe E-mail Service" as I use Thunderbird and not Outlook.  Recently upgraded from PSE3(which we loved and worked great) to PSE8 and it has been frustrating not able to send pictures.
    Looking for a fix?

  • Problem with Adobe email Service

I need to be able to send photos by email from elements 9.  My main email provider is Gmail
I followed the instructions to set up adobe email service, and entered the registration code as instructed.  everything looks OK
When I try to email photos as attachments everything works fine until the email editor dialog appears, at which point PSE always crashes.
I am using Windows 7 ultimate.

Firstly , The CS6 update will not work on the CS5 software.
Secondly , There is no need to place the order for any update.
You might be talking about the Upgrade from CS5 to CS6 if so , then has your order been processed and how you checked changing your browser and then downlaoading it.
    Also , This might help :- http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/find-download-link.html
but if this is not the issue then I would suggest to get in touch with the Adobe support team to get it sorted.

  • "Sent" folder available in Adobe Email Service?

After considerable effort, I have successfully transferred selected contacts from yahoo.com email to Adobe Email Service(AES) within Photoshop Elements and sent photos to several contacts.GREAT! Now a question that I could not find an answer towhen searching this forum: Anyway I can access some type of folder, etc. within ADS to confirm future Photoshop Elements generated emails have been sent? I am running W7, 64bit IE and Yahoo.mail whereas when using PSE I employ AES.
Thanks in advance for you help.

    Hi,
Unfortunately there is no sent mail folder for Adobe Email Service. You could fill in feature request at Adobe wish list form : https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform . Thanks for the feedback.

  • The Adobe email on my Elements 11 no longer works.

The Adobe email service on my Photoshop Elements 11 no longer works.  I have had people tell me they are not getting my photos so I tested it by sending to two different email accounts I have.  Nothing received.  I checked the History tab in the Photoshop Elements Organizer and it lists the email with attachments as having been sent.  This is a handy feature that I really want back.  I upgraded from 10 to 11 about 8 months ago and will not be upgrading again if I can't get this feature to work again!
I have Windows 8.1 and use Windows Live email as my default.  Since I am using Adobe's email service does my default email service have anything to do with the problem?
I do appreciate any assistance I can get.
    Thank you,
    Dwight Donnelly

    Hi,
I solved my Adobe email service by changing my email address to another account and got a new verification code.  I still do not understand why my other email account stopped working?  Anyway I am back in business, at least for the time being!
