Adobe Encore 'cannot run in non-royalty serialized mode'

Hello,
I just purchased a monthly subscription license for Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.5, which comes bundled with Encore. Premiere runs perfectly, but when I try to run Encore, I get the following error:
Adobe Encore CS5.1 cannot run in non-royalty serialized mode. The application needs to be serialized with a royalty bearing serial number.
I intend to make a DVD and BluRay of my project when it's finished, so I need Encore to work. Any ideas why this may be? It was my understanding that the license I purchased would allow for full function of Encore as well as Premiere.

Not sure what is the current policy here, but in any case - serial number/ licensing problems can only be handled by phone support or live web chat. If you need a different serial to get this working, that is way to go...

This is an activation issue. its solution has changed over time. Assuming you have a cloud subscription, see this.

I have done everything recommended in all of the other threads relating to this issue -
Uninstalled the entire CS and used the Adobe cleaner tool - to no avail.
Uninstalled just Encore and re-installed, nothing.
And multiple combinations of the above mentioned.
Really need this to work, ASAP. We've tried to contact Adobe via phone, chat, and other means. They are very to receive an audience from, it appears. Can anyone offer a different solution?
This is for a brand new edit suite that is running Windows 7 pro, 32 GB of RAM, and the [email protected] GHz.

I did not see this earlier. Forums are a bit odd today.
Do you have a subscription (to the cloud) or is this a perpetual license? You cannot run Encore in trial mode.
Generally, with CS6 suite (or earlier?) this indicated that Premiere is not activated, or there is a problem with activation. What version are you trying to install?
Unfortunately, the link that tells you how to fix this went missing in action some time ago.

Encore is activated when you activate Premiere Pro... so, as Stan asked, how did you install P-Pro?

Encore CS 6 Won't Open Up???? "Non Royalty Serialized Mode?????

I bought Premiere Pro CS 6 and that program works fine. Encore does not open. All it says is:
"Adobe Encore CS6 cannot run in non-royalty serialized mode. The application needs to be serialized with a royalty bearing serial number."
How can I get this program to open up so I can use it?

So, after looking at the Encore page, came across this gem of information:
Encore CS6 is supported on Microsoft® Windows® 7 with Service Pack 1 (64 bit) and Mac OS X v10.6.8 or
v10.7. Please note that Encore CS6 support for future operating system updates or new hardware
platforms will not be provided.
We are currently using OS X 10.8.5 with the intent of updating to Mavericks come Christmas Break in a couple of weeks.

If you upgraded on line your serial nr is in you account.
But Encore does not come with a serial number, Premiere does.
If you are in Creative Cloud:

What can I do to respond to an "Adobe Illustrator cannot run" message?

I have a PC running Windows7 with a virtual machine running in XP Mode. I loaded my old Adobe Illustrator 9.0 on the XP side. The installation went smoothly. When I try to start Illustrator I receive a "Adobe Illustrator cannot run" message. Criptic to the point of being useless. I used Windows Explorer to pull up all the Adobe files. Nothing appears amiss. Ideas/suggestions will be welcomed.

Well folks I finally got my "can't connect to iTunes" issues fixed. Seems that there was an unauthorized change to my email address and account therefore not allowing mr to connect to iTunes.
Here is how I got it fixed.
1. Contacted iTunes store support
2. Followed their instructions and replyed with the following info:
An order number from one of my purchases
Last 4 digits of the c.c. Used for the iTunes store acct
Answer to one of my security questions
And 2 items from this list.
Birthdate
Billing address for Acct
Phone number on acct
It was after all of this that they saw that someone had made an account modification back in February when the issue began. Seems they changed my email address just slightly and that is what kept me from being able to sign in and not a password issue. This was likely due to a phishing email that came out in conjunction with iCloud asking users to change their passwords to a more secure form by adding a capital and number.
To get all of this cleared up it took about 4 days as we emailed back and forth. I also needed a seperate email address they could use to send me info. Once they determined the issues and went to get them fixed by changing the email address associated with the acct and I created a new password I was able to access iTunes with no issues and even my previously thought lost acct balance was there.

CS6 AFX Network Render Node - Can't enable non-royalty bearing mode.

I have found many many threads saying to place this text file in these locations:
To enable non-royalty bearing mode: Place a blank file named ae_render_only_node.txt into one of the following locations, depending on the user account type:
Install After Effects on the render-only machine.
Place a blank file named ae_render_only_node.txt into one of the following locations, depending on the user account type:
Mac locations:/Users/<username>/Documents//Users/Shared/Adobe/
Windows locations:C:\Users\<username>\DocumentsC:\Users\Public\Documents\Adobe
But, it's not working for me. I try to open AE render engine and it just tells me my trial is up. I've dropped that text file in just about every file you can imagine, even ones that probably don't need it.
What am I missing?

I'm getting the feeling that since I didn't put the .txt file in the proper location prior to my trial expiring, the software never even gets to the point that it can check for it.

Adobe Encore trial, is asking for a serial.... I am using a trial!!!

Recently, I learned that I can not use Adobe Encore in the free trial version.
I would like to test and play with Adobe ENCORE for one month. I have learned that Adobe Encore is part of Adobe Premire Pro. If I buy ONLY Adobe Premire Pro for one month, can I use Adobe Encore then also?
It's really about that I want to test Adobe Encore for one month if possible.
What should I do?

Running in Non-Archive log mode?

Hi,
I know that the documentation states in numerous places that a server must be running in ArchiveLog mode if you want to configure streams but is it essential? We will be running a server under heavy traffic and our disk space is very limited. If we set our redo datafiles to a size that should give a days worth of redo we would remove the need to constantly clean up our archive directory.

The requirement for ARCHIVE LOG mode is for source sites (ie, any database with a CAPTURE process). If the database is a target site only(ie, an apply destination with no CAPTURE process defined) then archive logging is not a requirement.

When I try to run Adobe Encore CS5, I get this message. adobe encore cs5 cannot run in a non royalty serialized mode. Anyone know a fix? I really need to get some DVDs authorized. Thanks.

Great news, and a belated welcome to the forum.
Usually, Adobe Dynamic Link works perfectly. However, there are times, when things just do not go, as they should. Doing the Export>Import is usually fail-safe,so long as one chooses to Export to a format, that Encore loves. Yes, that is the "old fashion way," but until one can determine why ADL is not functioning, it just works.

According to the Encore page, you can get the "Creative Cloud" or a Premiere subscription.
It is part of the "Premiere" family install.
