Adobe Encore won't take Compressor m2v file. Orange screen. Corrupt program?

I just finished a 90 minute program and brought the audio and video files from compressor
to another post house that uses Adobe PP to do our spanish translation and subtitling.
This was probably my 4th versuin going through the tweaking process with them, with all
previous versions(files) working just fine. Of course our FINAL version has a bug.
Encore was not accepting(audio was fine) the video file but the timeline in Adobe's editor played it back fine.
Long story short, I attempted a few more Compressor(3) burns with no luck(I did notice the
yellow triangles with exclamation !). I also tried copying the program to a new timeline-no luck there either.
He ended up ripping the video file from a DVD to complete the project.
The next day I opened a different program in FCP and when I stopped on the timeline
the Canvas screen suddenly has an orange filter over the video.
When I hit the spacebar to play video it plays fine.
I needed to yousendit this program and exported it Using QT conversion and they received it with
acutal full playing orange filter scenes.
I'm guessing I have a corrupt something
Would I do a entrire system software reload?
Just a Compression software reload?
Sorry this got so long.

Encore won't encode some PSD files in Flash

I have succesfully completed a DVD project on Encore (4.0) with mpg elements edited in Premier Pro (4.0). A number of slide sequences constructed from jpgs converted
to pds files in Photoshop (cs5) have been used, plus some (individual, single) text slides, (constructed in Photoshop) have also been included with the DVD project. All of this works
fine. However, when I render the whole project for Flash, the text files are not included! During the render process the file details are displayed but no yellow progress bar appears.
The Flash file is prefereable to the DVD as this enables the Flash file to be available from a central common drive or server.
Can anyone assist me with this? I can find nor reference to these types of issues iether on the forum or anywhere on the net.

when imported into Encore looked “poor” as an mpg. However I had not rendered the project in Flash at that stage. Will
have to look at how Premier works direct to Flash without Encore?

Encore is transcoding DVD legal m2v file

Avi converted to m2v( Elementary Stream video only (720x480 NTSC) with TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress. Well I import the file to Encore CS3 (im on XP) and it imports fine but once I build the dvd it transcodes it....(settings for Blu-ray and DVD are on Automatic)
Any suggestions?

PS Just on a wierd side note Encore won't let me import an AC3 file it says "the decoders on this system are not available" and it is not copyrighted(I mention this because adobe knowledgebase says it is) because I extracted it from an avi.

Here's what I would change:
1. Use an interlaced display mode unless your source footage is 23.976 with 3:2 pulldown.
2. Make your GOP length 15 instead of 8 (if I counted right).
3. Close your GOPs.
4. Convert your .avi to uncompressed before sending it to TMPGEnc, and then trim a few frames off of either end before encoding. XviD, like DivX and MPEG, is temporally compressed, and if it's not decompressed exactly right, can cause problems in whatever program you are using.
5. Export a few small sections of the .avi file at a time and see if Encore sets any of those to "Don't Transcode". Encode increasingly larger sections until Encore wants to transcode them.
If none of those things work, then I can't help you. Your system is so loaded with unnecessary stuff (XviD, K-lite, AC3Filter, etc.) that nothing that I know of short of a complete reformat of your system drive and reinstall of Windows and your mission-critical apps will help.
Maybe someone who is very experienced with enabling and disabling various parts of the different codecs you have installed can help get you going short of a reinstall of Windows, but I'm not that guy. :)

QT won´t play a m2v file done with Compressor, neither from cd or dvd

Quicktime version 7.4.5 will not open a file .m2v done with Compressor. I tried from cd and from dvd and it won´t play. However it will play the one from the computer...
Any ideas of what is happening here?

Encore is part of the Premiere Pro installation which is shown in Creative cloud (Adobe Application Manager(AAM)).
Please uninstall and try to install it from AAM.

Since upgrading to Yosemite my Adobe Encore won't work!

I have kept up to date with my payments, my creative cloud is connected, I have updated JAVA and installed the newest versions of Premier Pro. The only programme I use is Encore and it's not working, I am desperate to sort this out as I have 150 school concerts DVDs to make and deliver by 5th Jan.
When I click on Encore I get a Adobe Application Manager window asking me to renew my subscription. When I click troubleshoot or subscription manager I get taken to a web page that doesn't exist, it just says ERROR PAGE and yes I am connected to the internet.
Anyone?

Adobe Muse won't publish (Error uploading file)

After making simple animations using Adobe Edge Animate it seems as though none of the assets will publish with my site after importing them into Muse.
In Edge animate I saved for "web animation" and published. Then I went to muse and hit "place". I went to preview and everything works fine. When I go to publish there are always errors in uploading my assets with '.png' extensions.
Any help is much appreciated. I have completely scrapped my website and created another, reinstalled Animate and have renamed all my files, I'm not sure whats wrong here.
I got one animation working, and that can be seen here under the Photography section, but I have multiples that will be shown on my page at one time.

ITunes 11 won't take my .m4r files :/

I know this has been asked a million times, but I am having a serious problem with trying to get a ringtone on my phone :/ I have tried every solution I've found on here and everywhere else on the web where I've found a "solution" tons of people happy that their problems have been solved and so easily by everything I've tried, but I'm beginning to think that I am a unique case. I have gone through every step: selecting a file, get info, choosing section (the file is only 4 seconds long), creating an AAC version, moving the AAC to the desktop, changing it from .m4a to .m4r, deleting both .mp3 and .aac files from my library, aaaaaaaaaaaand that's where it goes wonky :/
I've tried to drag it into iTunes, it won't accept it. Simply put, nothing happens at all.
I've tried to go under file and "Add file to library" to no avial.
I've gone into the files and created a folder for Tones and added it to that; nope.
I've removed the .mp3 file and then used iTunes to "locate" the .m4r file. This makes it work on iTunes, but it wouldnt sync to my phone.
In my latest attempt, I went into iTunes media and dropped the .m4r file into the "Automatically add to iTunes". It vanished as soon as it went it, and a new Tones folder was created in media next to music. I lept for joy thinking I was done; but I should've known better :/ I sync'd my iPhone 4 and sure enough, the file was not there under tones.
I give up...

This is embarassing... Problem solved, I found another page that told me I had to go into iTunes and tell the iPhone to sync tones. I had no knowledge of this step until now, very sorry. Everyone who see's this question, please remember to do that last step. All of my ringtones work now.

It's a network issue, not an account balance issue. Troubleshoot your network or just restart your iPod and/or router, try connecting to the Store a bit later, or try the download in iTunes on your computer and then sync the purchase to your device.

How can I take advantage of the Retina screen while programming in JAVA?

I've been writing desktop applications for years on LINUX and MSWindows.
Now, my applications are not aware of my MacBook with Retina screen:
all pictures and measures should be twice as small and sharp.
Those are not.

The cables can be found most anywhere. For cables and adapters I always recommend searching www.monoprice.com first. They have high quality cables for very good prices. As an example search for TOSLINK at their site to find optical cables and related components. It's where I got mine.

My exported mpeg2-dvd m2v file won't playback an image in Encore CS6 or QT?

I've also posted in Encore, but this group sees a lot more traffic and supposed to deliver tomorrow.
Exported media as mpg2-dvd from PP CC 2014, imported as timeline with the .wav into Encore as suggested here: Adobe TV
I don't know if this is an export issue, or an import-into-Encore issue. I get sound but no image in the Encore monitor window. The m2v file plays back in VLC, but no image in QT, and attempted playback gets me spinning beach balls.
Thoughts? Just need to burn a DVD for client delivery tomorrow. Yes, a DVD.
I'm running osx 10.9.5, 2.7GHz i7/16GB RAM MBP with a couple of SSDs in it, and a Thunderbolt RAID 1 for media.

If you can post screen grabs of the Export Settings and Encore screen, might be of help. Have not run into this before, no video in Encore.

Adobe encore the software that's used to decode the media is not available on this system. installing the correct decoders for the file you are working with may help correct the problem

The files we're shot with HD cameras. Edited in Premiere Pro CS3. I installed the update 3.0.1 with still the same error.
I also tried a brand new project and after about ten or so files being imported into a timeline, the system crash. I tried this twice....

       Here is the skinny. A window base PC. footage shot with HD sony HD cameras, Project imported to Premiere CS3. Once completed sent file to Adobe media encoder and render them as H.264 widescreen high Quality. Imported them to Adobe Encore CS3. After about ten files or so. I got the error message. Did all the basic trouble shoot like restarting the computer, got latest patch. Even build a new test project with the same problem.
    Something else I read in the forums, is the encore will transcoded the project to Mpeg 2 anyway, after looking at my project I realized those few files were indeed untranscoded. So it will be a double compression and I dont want that. So, my new question is, what is H.264 good for ?????????? I was research that Mpeg 2 is a faster render but H.264 is a slower render but better quality.....
   what do you think ????

Compressor produced m2v file "kind" is strange...

I don't know if this is new, but I've never noticed it before.
All of my compressor .m2v file "kind" fields look like this:
MPEG-2 File <!DO... (and them some Japanese or Chinese characters)>
If I "get info" on the file, the information following the "MPEG-2 File" looks like a plist:
MPEG-2 File <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC"-//Apple COmputer//DTD
PLIST 1.0/EN"http//
and so on.
It doesn't appear to cause any problems, though the default application is "Droplet" and I'm pretty sure it used to be Quicktime.
I've recently updated everything to all the latest stuff.
Had anyone else seen this and can anyone explain what's going on?

The first time you try to open it, it could take a minute or so, but if you have waited 10 minutes and gotten nothing, then there is a problem.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application?

QT7 quits when opening m2v files

Everything had been fine for years, until this morning:
Now, when I try to open .m2v files with QT 7.03, QT unexpectely quits. Even if i simply select the file to open, QT quits.
As I said, last nite all was fine.
What's even weirder is this: if i drag and drop the file to QT, it plays. But I need to do trimming and pasting, and as far as i can see, when u drop a file, the player window doesn't offer up the scrubbing bar and controls.
I've run tech tools, disk warrior, re-installed QT and made sure the f. m2v files aren't corrupt--even went back to pristine files I had archived on dvd.
Any ideas???

Try the files while logged in as a different user. If they work the conflict is in your other user Home folder. Third party software is one conflict and you can compare the two users.
Make sure you're using the most recent version of Apple's MPEG-2 Playback Component (version 6.4). Older (6.3) doesn't work any longer.
