Adobe error message?

Is this an Adobe error message?   I am trying to update Amazon's MP3 player on a Windows 7 ASUS computer.  Somewhere in that chain someone has dropped the torch.  I have downloaded the Amazon update.  On Amazon's advice, based on my verbal description of the icon,  I have updated Adobe Air and Adobe Flash Player.  But when I try to actually install the Amazon update, I get this error message. I have no idea where to go from here.  I also have no idea how I will know if anyone replies to this thread, so wish me luck!

Thank you so much.  On my third try in a week, I was able to sucessfully update Adobe Air to the current version AND check to see that my Flash Player is also up to date, which it is.  I still get the same error message when trying to install the Amazon update, so I think that puts the ball back in Amazon's court.  Thanks again for your help!

  • Adobe error message on the contact page

I have set-up a new form, copied the embed code and the form on the site's contact page was working correctly. This morning I see an Adobe error message.

    Hi;
What is the error that you see?  What operating system and web browser are you using?
I am able to view the contact page with the form, and was able to fill out and submit the form without error.
    Thanks,

  • Adobe Error Message when trying to email

I am working in Adobe Livecycle 8.0 and I am getting the following error message:
Acrobat does not allow connection to: mailto:
This was never an issue in the past. I intentionally left the mailto blank so that an individual that completed the form could email it as a PDF to the person of their choice. Is there a workaround for this? If not, does anyone know how to populate the mailto: with an email address from an email field in the form?
    Thanks
    Jen

    Hi Jen,
You've reached the Adobe AIR forums, would you mind reposting your question over on one of the Livecycle forums?  You'll probably have better luck over there.
    Thanks,
    Chris

  • Releated Adobe error message

I have an imac running osx 10.8.2, which doesn't seem to be listed on the communities menu. I usually use Safari.
I keep getting the following error message from different sites:
"Before viewing PDF documents in this browser you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the End User License Agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser."
I installed the most recent Adobe Reader from their website but cannot find the launch and user agreement button.  The system keeps telling me to reinstall Adobe Reader.
I contacted one site for information and they apologized and said it was a problem and they would get back to me. They didn't. This was Discover card, I think they should have good people on staff but. . .
What am I doing wrong? What do I need to do?

  • Adobe Error Message - Referenced Memory

Hi.  I am using adobe premiere elements 2.0 as a nonlinear non-proprietary editing program.  I love the program and it has been great for the small editing projects I have to do.  However, I am receiving a new error message from the program when I close it now.
The instruction at "0x00c03adf" referenced memory at "0x0499f564".  The memory could not be "read".  Click okay to terminate the prgram.
If anyone in support could lend me some help as to what this means, I would appreciate it.  Thanks,
    Nathaniel Sefcik

This error is often indicative of either RAM going bad, or the OS not handling RAM addresses properly. The latter could also be some other program/Process, that is using RAM and not reporting it correctly to the OS. It is usually not a problem with the program, though that could still be a possibility.
I'd check your loaded, running Processes, to see what else is using RAM. As a test, I'd use a program, like EndItAll2 * to shut down all unnecessary programs and Processes, then run PE and see if all performs better, with no error messages.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
    * EndItAll2 used to be freeware, but now is shareware. There are other similar progams that are freeware.

  • I am getting Adobe Error Message "..\..\src\ppixHandleUtilities.cpp_114"

    >I am getting this error message "..\..\src\ppixHandleUtilities.cpp_114". I just started getting it in Adobe Premiere CS3 today. It occurs every time I start or stop the video in the timeline. I can not find an answer in the Help menu. Any suggestions?

Please provide 'these details' to help us help you.
'These details' is linked to the link - http://premierepro.wikia.com/wiki/Troubleshooting#WikiaArticle
Just for the benefit of all!
Btw, I've checked with the wonderful list you've provided on that link.
Sorry about my dumb questions below as I'm a victim of this error message as well...
    OS - Windows XP
    Software - Adobe Premiere CS3
    Video type - Digital
Gear - Canon 5D Mark II
    Files used -
    1. .mov, shot with a Canon 17-40mm (wide-angle) and a Canon 50mm 1.4 (portrait) lenses.
    2. Default stills.
Audio - One .mp3 track throughout
    Video length - 6 minutes
    Project frame size -
HD Anamorphic 1080, because of the wide-angle. The other Pixel Aspect ratios are cropping the existing clips
    Export format -
    Compressor - DV PAL
    PAR: HD Anamorphic 1080
Tadaaa I get the error message stated above!
    My question(s) -
Since I've shot clips with a wide-angle lens and a 50mm which is not wide at all, would these be conflicting with each other?
Should we use only one lens (mm) to shoot the entire video clippings?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Much appreciated!

  • How do I fix this Adobe error message?

When I view a PDF document through Adobe 8.0, I get an error message stating: "There was an error processing a page. Could not find the XObject named '%316'." Only 1/4 of the text shows up on the screen. How can I fix this error?
    Thank you,
    Mani.

Most likely, the PDF has not been authored correctly or has been corrupted in transmission.

  • How do I fix an Adobe error message?

When I try to install Adobe Reader 9.2 I'm getting an error message.  It says an internal problem has occurred.    The error message is as follows:  Error 1606: Could not access network location.
I have tried to uninstall Adobe Reader but it's not letting me.  I can't see videos, I can't change my desktop background and can not open pdf files.  How can I resolve this matter.

What is your operating system?  If it is Windows, you can use the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility* to remove the corrupted Reader installation, then reinstall it again.
*) the tool is no longer available on the Microsoft site, but you can use Google to find an alternate download site.

I am not good at reading these, but it looks like the color profile you are using in Distiller may be having a problem. It might be worth trying a different color profile.

  • I have firefox V 3.6.24 and can not download new version. Get an Adobe error message about corrupt file?

Using a Mac desktop OS X 10.6. I've made repeated attempts to update software. The download process for Firefox quits and a dialogue box pops up -- saying the new version did not download. File may be corrupt or unable to be decoded??. Process started by clicking on the New Firefox version is available for Free download on Mozilla home page.

More information - the popup box says:
Adobe Reader could not open 'Firefox 8.0-8.dmg' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
The file was downloaded into my "download" folder? Is that related to the problem?

  • I can not print a pdf file that was sent in an email.  I get the error message that adobe could not

I can not print a pdf file that was sent in an email.  I get an adobe error message that it can not print with an ok to check and when i do I get another adobe error message that says I did not select a page to print. I have downloaded the latest adobe download.  I forwarded the email to my husband and he printed the document just fine.

This first question which comes to mind is how do you display the pdf file in the browser?
For this the browser uses a plug in (e.g. adobe reader) which already has the ability to print the pdf file. Depending on the version of your plug in, printing is started differently.

Ps: which jdev version do you use?

In fact the video viewing window doesn't move at all unless you click on a particular scene now only shows that scene no rolling video. Yesterday it wasn't a problem why it changed I don't know. I went to my computer manufacture web site and down loaded the latest updates for my system then I restarted my computer still the same Adobe error message same problem. Then I went to Intel website updated the latest driver updates restarted my computer still got the same adobe error message and still have the same viewing screen problem? Help Please? Many many apologizes. In the screenshot in post 5 I circled Program Files instead of Program Data although I wrote Program Data in the written instruction elsewhere. Please watch this post for the correction.
Very sorry. You did great. I messed up.
    Correction
(Since I cannot get back into Post 5 to edit it, I going through the process of getting Post 5 deleted. What follows here is the replacement.)

You can do it. Let us go step by step
    Start Button
    Click Computer
    Double Click Local Disk C
You should see a list similar to the following:
Double click "Program Data" circled above.
When you do, you will get another list showing some folders etc.  Find the folder named Adobe and click on it.
(At that point, make sure to scroll all the way to the top area to make sure that you are not missing Adobe.)
When you do, you will get another line up of folders. Find specifically the folder named Premiere Elements and double click that.
When you do, you will get another line up of folders. Find specifically the folder named 9.0 and double click that.
When you do, you should see the following:
As the screenshot immediately above shows, right click the BadDrivers.txt file and select Delete.
At that point, you close out of there.
Reopen Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 and see if the video card error and other problems are gone.
Please give this another look. If you run into difficulties following my instructions, then please indicate where and I will rewrite them.
    Thanks.
    ATR
If you have Windows 7 64 bit computer, the location for the BadDrivers.txt file should be in the corrected information just posted.
    Again sorry for the detour.

  • Session won't load - ERROR MESSAGE- Please help decipher

For no apparent reason, when I opened my session I got an Adobe ERROR MESSAGE. Then the session won't load and Audition crashes.
    Here is the message:
(A big Red X appears in the dialog window)
    Audition has encountered an error.
    [\Monk\main\common\PremiereShell\Src\PlayerFactory.cpp-379]
Can anyone think of a way I can fix this situation and recover my session? Do you think a reinstall of Audition might help? Other sessions open fine. This session was particularly important because I had been working on it for weeks and this was the final finished version. It had been like pulling teeth to get this one done, then when I finally did get it done...this happened. So yuck!! Fortunately I had done a mixdown before the crash, small blessing. But I need the session, of course.
Thanks for any ideas at all.

right...because the xml is basically a delimited text file. This kind of file would probably rarely ever get corrupted.
    ROFLMAO! Who told you that?
It'a a FILE, for heavens' sake. And to any computer, all files are essentially the same thing - a string of bytes. What makes a file vulnerable or less vulnerable is how it's handled by whatever program is using it, or to a lesser extent the storage mechanism. And when it comes to .xml files and Adobe, they don't have a particularly good track record with some of them - notably the ones they use for system settings and presets.
But I have to say that since Adobe thoughtfully gave us the option to save session data as .xml files, I haven't bothered to save them as anything else - simply because as Suite Spot says, you stand some sort of microscopic chance of being able to rescue the data when all else fails. I am fortunate - most of the stuff I do in MV doesn't use a load of tracks and absolutely no effects (live acoustic music editing), but even though the files aren't that complex, I still back them up regularly during processing because, as they regularly get rewritten and updated, they most certainly are vulnerable.

  • Error message frustration

I have received the following error message from ENCORE CS3 when attempting a build of a Blu-ray project:
Blu-ray object: audience address DRESS REHEARSAL, Error: invalid operation", Code 19, NOTE primary video stream must be consistent within playlist.
The ENCORE CS3 HELP index has no reference to ERROR messages. Like many other Adobe end users, I challenge Adobe's claim to producing 'professional' software when it is unsuited to the use intended. I cite as but one reason such typical Adobe error messages as this, which are all but meaningless to all but Adobe's own technogeeks without proper context and explanation.
Might I have these please so I can get on with my work?
    Norman Frizzle

I get the same message, and I only have one timeline. How can it be a different resolution from itself? Could it be the menu having a different resolution?(I only made that 720 by 480 widescreen out of habit...and since the main product was going to be regular DVD) If anyone figured it out, I'd like to know. Fortunately this is just for a friend, not a customer this time. But someday it will be a customer and I need to know what's going on here...
    More info:
My timeline was created in premiere, exported to adobe media encoder, and encoded in HDV 1440x1080i
