Adobe Error page DreamweaverMX (2004)

When I try to reregister my Copy of DreamweaverMX (2004), I get the Adobe error page. How do I know if the registration has been successful?  I have replace my old computer and cannot be sure I deactivated the DW program. The program seems to have installed OK, but I can only use the 30day trial.

You are using a very old version of the software. Did you get an option to enter your serial number during install?
You can also have a look at this document to see if any of the solutions help you.

  • Adobe error message on the contact page

    I have set-up a new form, copied the embed code and the form on the site's contact page was working correctly. This morning I see an Adobe error message.
    Contact page :  http://www.fradkinfineconstruction.com/fradkin_contact_white.html

    Hi;
    What is the error that you see?  What operating system and web browser are you using?
    I am able to view the contact page with the form, and was able to fill out and submit the form without error.
    Thanks,
    Josh

  • Each time I open acrobat I get a message asking if I want to check for updates which goes to an error page on adobe

    How do I check for updates, this always goes to an adobe web page that says "Error".

    Hi charlesl64851396,
    I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.
    I would require few details from you in order to diagnose this issue correctly :-
    1) Version of Acrobat currently installed on your computer.
    2) Was it a standard or custom installation?
    3) Operating system installed on your computer.
    4) Default browser.
    5) And, also share the screenshot of the Error page.

  • IPad browser automatically redirecting to adobe flash error page

    This is very annoying. I have had iPad for a few days but first noticed this just now.
    While perusing used cars on cars.com I found that clicking on a link to a detail listing would first take me to that page, but then almost immediately redirect to an adobe flash error page. Feels like a sleazy trick by adobe to annoy iPad users.
    Example link below, this is just a listing for a used Porsche in northern Va:
    1975 Porsche 911 S - $10,350 (obo)
    <link edited by host>

    It's not something Adobe is doing. The cars.com site is redirecting you to adobe.com because you're missing a plugin that cars.com is using to display that page.

  • Connect to existing site with DreamweaverMX 2004 (Was: DreamweaverMX 2004)

    How do I connect to my exisiting website with the DreamweaverMX 2004?  I just got a new computer and the people who did my website no longer work on website designing.  They have left me on my own!

    MX 2004 is a mighty old relic. It's probably not going to run right if at all on a modern operating system.
    If you download a 30 day trial of CS6 or CC, you might have better luck.
    http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/free-trial.html
    The first step is to define your Local Site folder.   Go to Site > New site.
    Tell DW where you would like to keep site files on your local hard drive.  See screenshots.
    Then click on Servers & tell DW what your remote site log-in details are:
    Root Directory is what your web host told you to use for your HTML files.  This varies by host and could be public_html or www or htdocs or none.  If unsure, check with your hosting provider.
    More options:  check the settings recommended by your hosting provider.
    Hit Test button to connect.  If all is good, hit Save.
    In the DW Files Panel (F8), click on Remote Server.  Click the green DOWN arrow to GET  files from the server.
    Switch to Local View, and edit your site pages...

    Now, the mistery....I only get the follwoing exception on the 2 production serversThe error page works fine on other servers and it is the same JSP page on all servers....I cannot figure out why I am getting this error and what is the error supposed to mean..

    Hi. I am also same kind of problem. I ahve a simple JSP in my Struts 2 Application. Server used is weblogic. As soon as i click on the Calender Image. The Socket write erro is thrown. I a m not able to under stand as to why socket write error is happening, as inly a simple javascript function call happens on click of that image.
    JSP Cal code:
    value="<s:date name='remitFileSetup.effcvStartDt' format='MM/dd/yyyy'/>" size='10' maxlength='10'/><a id="Date1" href="#"><img onclick="javascript:callSelf('Date1','startdate','true','divMesReg1')" valign="bottom" src="<s:url value="/images/cal.gif"/>"
    method implementation:
    function call(cButton, cOutput, cSingle,divId) {
    var MA = [];
         //alert("HI 1");
         //to convert cSingle into boolean
         if(cSingle=='false')
         cSingle=false;
    else{
              cSingle=true;
    function closed(cal) {
    // here we'll write the output; this is only for example. You
    // will normally fill an input field or something with the dates.
    var el = document.getElementById(cOutput);
    // reset initial content.
    //el.innerHTML = "";
              if(cSingle==true) {
                   el.value="";
    // Reset the "MA", in case one triggers the calendar again.
    // CAREFUL! You don't want to do "MA = [];". We need to modify
    // the value of the current array, instead of creating a new one.
    // Calendar.setup is called only once! :-) So be careful.
    MA.length = 0;
    // walk the calendar's multiple dates selection hash
    for (var i in cal.multiple) {
    var d = cal.multiple;
    //alert("HI 2");
    // sometimes the date is not actually selected, that's why we need to check.
    if (d) {
    //this is to check that the newly selected date is not a repetition of of the date already
    // selected in the textbox
    var tempOlddate=trim(el.value);
    var flagTest="true";
    if(tempOlddate.indexOf(d.print("%m/%d/%Y"))==-1)
    var tmpoldDt=el.value;
         // OK, selected. Fill an input field. Or something. Just for example,
    // we will display all selected dates in the element having the id "output".
    var x=el.value;
    var y= x.substring(x.length-2,x.length);
    //alert(y);

         var vararray= new Array();

  • Use of error page resulting in could not deserialize session data exception

              We have recently converted classes that store objects in the HTTP Session to implement
              serializable.
              Our application uses an error page set up in our web.xml for 500 errors.
              It also uses filters.
              When our application throws an exception and allows the server to handle it
              via the error page setup, we end up with the exception we threw, plus a number
              of
              "Could not deserialize session data" exceptions in the stack trace.
              In general, the exceptions can be traced to lines in code that attempt to reference
              one of our "serializable" session objects to get user info for logging purposes.
              Problem is, other applications that do not use error pages to handle exceptions
              do not throw these types of exceptions in the wl-domain.log and they use the same
              classes.
              Does anyone know why this happens when using error pages and what we need to do
              to correct it?
              We are using Weblogic 8.1sp2.
              Thanks!!

  • Reports Error Page 10g NullPointerException

    We have created a JSP report that produces Excel output via method outlined in the example given in the HowTo:
    http://otn.oracle.com/products/reports/htdocs/getstart/demonstrations/excel/index.html
    The JSP runs fine under 9.0.2 iAS but when we moved the report to a 10g AS we get the following error:
    Reports Error Page
    Mon May 24 11:50:26 BST 2004

    Any ideas what could be causing the report to fail and ways to make the report run under 10g As?

    Try adding charset to the content type
    e.g:
    <%@ page contentType="application/vnd.ms-excel;charset=ISO-8859-1" %>

  • ClientAbortError on 404 error page

    Hi
    I have a custom 404 JSP page that gets loaded every time resource is not found.
    I tested this on our development server and it was working great. After redeploying to production server
    I am getting the following error
    [#|2004-06-24T09:13:33.186-0400|SEVERE|sun-appserver-pe8.0|javax.enterprise.system.container.web|_ThreadID=16;|org.apache.catalina.core.StandardHostValve@128ed5f: Exception Processing ErrorPage[errorCode=404, location=/error404.jsp]
    ClientAbortException: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer: socket write error
    The dev and production servers are the same hardware and software configuration and the web.xml has the following entry in it.
         <error-page>
         <error-code>404</error-code>
         <location>/error404.jsp</location>
         </error-page>
    The exception now gets thrown on any and every page request regardless if it is found or not.
    The weird thing about it that it does not affect anything else.
    I am stopmed on this one .... Please help

    What server and version are you using? Have you tried rebooting the appserver to see if that clears your problem?

    Preparing to Upgrade to LiveCycle® ES from 7.x document error: page 85, when configuring the JMS with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 for JBoss 4.0.3 SP1. Step 5: Modifiy <local-tx datasource> element .....   <connection-url> jdbc:microsoft.sqlserver ..... <c/onnection-url>, in mssql-ds.xml file:
    Should be: <connection-url>jdbc:sqlserver://.... </connection-url>
    Notice the word "microsoft" needs to be removed as this is SQL 2005, not SQL 2000.
    Also, in the same JMS configue file, com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver should be changed to com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver as the driver-class.
    We are using
    SQL 2005 SP1
    JBoss 4.0.3 SP1
    Windows 2003 SP1
    Adobe ES 8.2
    If not corrected, you'll see error like this in log file:
    Caused by: org.jboss.resource.JBossResourceException: Failed to register driver for: com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver; - nested throwable: (java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: No ClassLoaders found for: com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver)

    Sorry - wrong spot. I will re-post this in ES Installation Discussion forum.

  • How do I install what I just purchased when it keeps taking me to an error page whenever I hit download?

    Hey everyone, I just downloaded photoshop elements yesterday, and I can't get it to download. An error page comes up every time I click on download. Also, the billing section says that my order is still processing and can take up to 24 hours...it's been longer than that. I NEED to start editing my pictures. Thanks.

  • Adobe pdf page no longer responding on Mac

    Have downloaded Adobe 10 to Mac OSX 10.6, and after initial problems has mostly been working o.k.
    Got to end of online pdf forms ready to submit, & given option to view and print- nothing happened; treid another option to save - nothing happened.
    I decided to take a screenshot - went to Edit and clicked "take snapshot" - but can't find a snap shot anywhere on laptop - and worse, the cursor hasn't reappeared so cannot now do anything further on the adobe pdf page.
    When I click on the adobe pdf a "crosshair" appears in place of the cursor & the screen turns blue or occasionally burgundy. I click again, the colour goes but the cursor still doesn't re-appear, just the crosshairs remain.
    Went back to Edit to deselect "snapshot" - it won't disengage, the tick stays in place - which is probably why there is no cursor.
    How do I get rid of this and resume normal status to save the pdf?

    Just found another similar issue elsewhere - answer is to click on pdf page then click escape!! Should really be somewhere on adobe that indicates this is the solution to such a silly issue .

    Man, I hope you get an answer for this question. I can't download any pdfs at all anymore on my Mac. OS10.7.3 I don't even get an error message, it doesn't show that I've opened a pdf, I just get a blank screen. It's getting very frustrating. I've been searching for an answer online and just saw your question. Hopefully you'll get an answer soon and it will answer mine as well.
