Adobe Exchange CS6, unable to log me in...

When I try to Download a panel from Adobe Exchange CS6, it says it is unable to log me in. When I hit Sign in nothing happens.

This worked for me. (everything is pulled from this post here.)
Delete the opm.db file on your machine
For Windows: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\OOBE
For Mac:  ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE for Mac. (make sure you can view hidden files in Finder or delete it from your terminal using rm ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db)
After you delete the opm.db file, you will have to log in again and everything should work.
It's just really annoying and kind of strange that I can be logged into Folio Builder and logged in online, but Exchange still won't sign in properly. Welcome to the world of cloud computing.

  • Adobe Exchange CS6 stops on install of anything?

I have CS6 Prod Premium Creative Suite.  The Adobe Application Manager appears to apply updates quite happily.  However Adobe Exchange CS6 stops on install of anything?  I have deleted opm.db and relogged in but I select appropriate extension (.zxp) and install begins and then hust hangs for a period after which I get unhelpful message moaning about supported products and manifest.xml?
Adobe Exchange seems really flakey and I have had many issues in the past.  CS6 seems trapped half way into CC without proper integration.
Does anyone have helpful (i.e. Not completely reinstalling again!) way of fixing exchange?  It would be nice to use the VERY EXPENSIVE PAID for software.   By the way I thank this community for any help and am very aware that ADOBE appear to be 'handing off' their support responsibilities.
    regards
    Ian

    Xiaoyi,
Please ignore the last email as there have been developments.
When I went into Adobe CS6 Photoshop (64 bit) to recreate the issue (and presumably create some useful debugging logs) this failed.   I could open Photoshop but when I attempted to open the Exchange panel it started to open then totally stopped and froze Photoshop requiring Task Manager to be used to stop and close Photoshop.
I therefore then used Exchange Manager CS6 to uninstall the Exchange Panel, downloaded the latest Exchange Panel and reinstalled.  This had no effect and Photoshop again hung when the panel was started.  (The panel displays and the timer starts rotating then halts).
After killing Photoshop with the Task Manager again.
I restarted Photoshop with the reset keys held down to remove any preferences.  This worked!!!      Photoshop now allows the opening of the exchange panel and I was able to view and install some .zxp's.
Of course this is not ideal as I now need to reset my preferences hopefully without triggering the issue again.
I hope this post helps others that get stuck in this loop?
    thanks for everyones suggestions.
    regards
    Ian

  • Adobe Photoshop CS6 unable to process more than 10 Images for Panoramic

I have Adobe Photoshop CS6 with latest patches installed and cannot create a panoramic picture from 18 photos (360 degrees).  I can get it to work with a maximum of 10 photos.  Photoshop Elements 12 works fine on another identical computer, but not CS6.  Is there a work around or a problem or known bug?  How do I resolve the issue?

  • Why isn't the Adobe Exchange Panel opening in Flash Pro CS6?

It says it's installed but when I go to Window>Extensions>
and then there is nothing, no other menu to go from.

    Hi HunterOSx and Svagers,
How did you install the Adobe Exchange extension?
I would recommend downloading the latest updates for Extension Manager from here:
    http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/
...and downloading the latest Adobe Exchange ZXP from www.adobeexchange.com (it was updated on Friday). Make sure that you open the ZXP with Adobe Exchange CS6 for it to be available in Flash Pro CS6. If you also have Extension Manager CS5 installed, it's possible that you've accidentally installed the panel into Flash Pro CS5.
Let me know how you get on.
    Best wishes,

  • Unable to launch File sync and to update Adobe Exchange panel in Illustrator CC 2014

I suppose that these two problems might be related, as I need the file sync to sync the extensions?
Anyway, I’m unable to launch a file sync, and when I update the Adobe Exchange panel in Illustrator, it asks for a reboot, and after the reboot, it asks again for an update…
    Thanks for the help!

I've since received information of a workaround - listed in a different thread: Unable to install non-standard updates - Cannot launch/update Adobe Digital Publishing for InDesign CC 2014
Try the following to enable updates:
    1) Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\AAMUpdaterInventory\1.0 and you will find a .dat file ( AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat).
    2) Please open the file in question and you will find a line item : <Suppressed>1</Suppressed> .
    3) Please change the Value from 1 to 0 and save the file back in the same location.
On a Mac, essentially the same, however location: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdaterInventory/1.0/AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat
I was given further advice that DPS toolkit updates are not available when you create the deployment package from Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition on Mac OS. (I believe this may be the same using Creative Cloud Packager as you've found)
Deployment DPS Toolkit Update| AAMEE |Mac OS
The above article suggests that you can download and install the DPS update silently, however, an end user must be logged into computer - not really feasible for enterprise environments.
So I guess the process for this would be:
1)Copy the contents of the DPS update package to remote machine
2)Enable updates by modifying the AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat file
3)Remotely launch the DPS update silently (when someone is logged onto machine)
    4)Disable updates again when complete...

  • Unable to download or access my stuff on adobe exchange in photoshop cc.

After a successful login to the cc site, from the sign in button on the exchange panel, the message is sorry, we are unable to log you in.\\  I haave closed and started again after cleaning out the cookies etc.
    What do I do now?

Current Firefox versions have enabled a built-in PDF Viewer that doesn't have all features that other PDF readers like the Adobe Reader have.
You can change the action for Portable Document Format (PDF) from Preview in Firefox to use the Adobe Reader or set to Always Ask in "Firefox > Options > Applications".
You can set the pdfjs.disabled pref to true on the <b>about:config</b> page to disable the build-in PDF viewer.

How do I fix the problem.
    I am on a windows 7 machine.
I have not changed any preferences in Photoshop.

The download is huge, 1.6GB, so it will take a while to download and if it fails, clear your browser’s cache and try again, or try a different browser.
There is nothing on the page that will prevent you from downloading it multiple times.  If you are getting an error it is likely your internet connection or some internet security software or something else blocking.  Did you watch the download and did it completely successfully or did it just stop?
On the page with the Try link there is a link for when you’re having problems downloading, which it seems like you are:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/troubleshoot-download-problems.html
There are phone numbers for Adobe but usually it is an exercise in frustration talking to someone in India who has a script they will lead you through, not unlike what it says on the help page, just slower.
If you want to attach a screenshot you need to use the web version of the forums and copy/paste into the message, or use the camera icon at the top left.

  • Can't log in to Adobe Exchange Plugin

I installed the new Adobe Exchange plugin but I can't login. It stays cycling on the Logging in... screen on the panel. Anyone else having issues with this?
    (Windows 7 64 bit, Photoshop CS6 64 bit)
It's been stuck for the last 20 min now. I've already restarted PS and tried logging in again.

    Hi Glen,
Can you please make sure you've installed any available updates through Adobe Application Manager, reboot and then try again?
Fingers crossed that should do the trick, but if that does not work, then please turn on logging, retry and then send the generated logs to me at fgregor at adobe dot com.
    WINDOWS
Go to the Start Menu and type in ‘regedit’
Click regedit.exe from the Programs list
    Navigate to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.3
    Increase the LogLevel to 6
    Log Files: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp
For example, if you were running Photoshop CS6 the log file name will be “csxs3-PHSP.log”
Also, please include the log files from these locations:
    C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Temp\amt3.log
    C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Temp\PDApp.log
    C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Exchange\adobeexchange.log
    Kind regards,

    Hi Jdentremont,
Lync client gets user photos by first querying the Address Book Web Query (ABWQ) service on the server, which is exposed through the Distribution List Expansion web service. The client receives
the image file and then copies it to the user's cache to avoid downloading the image each time it needs to be displayed. The attribute values returned from the query are also stored in the cached Address Book Service entry for the user. The Address Book Service
deletes all cached images every 24 hours, which means that it can take up to 24 hours for new user images to be updated in the cache on the server.
To troubleshoot your problem, please follow the steps below:
    1.  Navigate to
     “X:\share\1-WebServices-1\ABfiles\000000000\000000000” folder. (ABS file share)
You should see some photo files in this folder as the following screenshot.
    2. Delete all the files in this folder.
    3. On test PC, delete local cache files.
    %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\[email protected]
    4. Sign-in Lync with the test account.
    5. Go back to the ABS file share, check if there is any Photo file in the folder.
    Best regards,
    Eric

  • The Microsoft Exchange Address Book was unable to log on to Exchange

I am currently migrating a exchange 2007 to exchange 2013.
Exchange 2013 is installed on a seperate Windows Server 2012 server.
Exhange 2007 is installed on a  seperate Windows Server 2003 R2 server.
I have moved some mailboxes from exchange 2007 to exchange 2013 and also created some new mailboxes on the exchange 2013 server itself.
OWA, ActiveSync , IMAP are all working correctly for those mailboxes , but I am not able to connect to outlook with the exchange option (local connection).
    Outlook 2013:
When I use autodiscover to connect to the exchange server step 1 & 2 are working correctly (establishing network connection & searching for mailbox settings) but on the 3th step (logging on to the mail server) I receive the following error
The name cannot be resolved. The Microsoft Exchange Address Book was unable to log on to Exchange. Contact you system administrator if the problem persists.
When I filll in the exchange server manually (using the normal servername server.hq.corp.domain.local not the guid version) the check name resolves correctly and the profile creation is finishing ok. But when I try to open outlook with that profile it gives
    me the following errors :
    with cached exchange mode selected:
Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook windows. The set of folders cannot be opened.
You must connect to Microsoft Exchange with the current profile before you can synchronize your folders with your Outlook data file (.ost)
    with cached exchange mode deselected:
Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook windows. The set of folders cannot be opened.
Microsoft Exchange is not available. Either there are network problems or the Exchange server is down for maintenance
When I use the Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer it fails on the following step:
Testing the address book "Check Name" operation for user [email protected] against server [email protected]
An error occured while attempting to resolve the name. Elapsed Milliseconds: 91 Additional Details: The address book bind operation failed with status -2147221231. NSPI Status 2147746065

    Hi,
Please run the following command in Exchange server to get Exchange GUID:
    Get-Mailbox UserA | FL Identity,ExchangeGuid
Then open Outlook, click File > Account Settings > Account Settings > Change (If you can’t open Outlook, go to Control Pane > Mail to change it). In Server Settings, import the [email protected] into the Server box and click Check Name
    to have a try.
If the name is checked successfully but also can’t open the profile, please close Outlook. In the Start menu, Run command (Windows key + R), type or paste
outlook.exe /resetnavpane  (Note: Make sure there is a space between the words.)
Then press Enter (or OK button) to restart Outlook

  • Adobe Exchange not loading in CS6

I am attempting to install Adobe Exchange in Photoshop CS6. I am able to download the "AdobeExchange_cs6.zxp" installer and use the Extension Manager to "load" it, and it does show up in the extensions list for Photoshop. But it is not available under the Extensions menu in Photoshop CS6. Yes, I have restarted Photoshop.
I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it, still no luck.

It appears that extensions were not allowed to connect to the internet in my prefs. All fixed now.

  • Downloaded adobe exchange in CS6, I was prompted to upgrade the Extension Manager from version 6.0.0.412 to 6.0.8 . I keep getting error code: U44M1P7 - any suggestions? tks

  • Adobe Exchange in Flash CS6

Why isn't it working? It says it is already installed but when I go to Windows>Extensions, there's nothing there.

    Few things to try:
    1. close Flash CS6 and reopen it again and check if you can see Adobe Exchange under extensions
    2. Check you have the latest version of Exchange panel (0.9.3). You can get it from here: https://www.adobeexchange.com/
What version of Flash are you running? Can you please get me the version number?
Can you also check the version of Adobe Extension Manager installed in your machine.
    Thanks
