Adobe export

I just updated my Adobe and purchased Adobe Export pdf, but when I attempt to convert a PDF to a word document I continually get a "failure to convert" message. I can't seem to resolve this issue myself, please help.

I'm sorry that you've been having trouble using your brand new ExportPDF subscription. Does the error occur regardless of the document that you try to convert? If so, could you please provide some specifics about that file (what created the PDF, how large it it, whether it's text or images, or both, and so on).
In the meantime, here are some basic troubleshooting steps to try:
Clear your browser cache (steps to do this vary by browser)
Check with your IT team to confirm if you have firewall/proxy settings that restrict the ability to upload files to the internet.
If the issue persists after the steps above, please try another web browser.  A list of supported browsers for accessing the ExportPDF service is available here: http://www.adobe.com/acom/systemreqs/
And, if you're trying to convert from within Adobe Reader, please try signing in directly via the website at https://acrobat.com/exportpdf.

  • I have converted my pdf files to docx files using the Adobe Export PDF but when I drag my converted files to Word there is no text, just blank pages.

    I am really new to Adobe and Creative Cloud and its logic so I hope someone can help me understand it.  My objective is to get my scanned PDF docs converted to text document files so I can open and edit in Word.
    I have scanned my documents into a pdf format. I then dropped the pdf file into my Adobe Export from PDF. It exported and converted them to docx files just fine. When I click on the created docx file I have the correct number of pages but they are completely blank. I don't have any converted text. Am I missing a step?  I have also dropped these files into my Word with the same result. 

    Are you still experiencing a problem with Adobe Send?  We inadvertently introduced a problem earlier today (now fixed), but you reported your issue was last night.
    Anyway, can you check again?

    I alredy have acrobat 9 Pro which I use to convert PDFs to Word.  With the project I am currently working on, the results area bit of a mess and I have to do a lot of re-formatting; please advise if Adobe Export PDF has anything in it that is likely to give better results.

    Great question!  ExportPDF is using a much more advanced PDF to Word conversion engine than the one that was included with Acrobat 9.  The engine is based off the one used in Acrobat X, however as ExportPDF is a service rather than a desktop product, we've been able to update and improve the engine on a more regular basis. 
    I'd suggest subscribing to ExportPDF.

    I just purchased Adobe Export PDF in an attempt to be able to export documents from .pdf to Ms. Word.  I have a PC.  When I open the document in .pdf my name appears in the top right hand corner.  When I click on it and select export to Ms. Word, I get nothing.  Can someone instruct me on how to do this?

    Are you trying to export your files via Reader or the ExportPDF web interface at https://cloud.acrobat.com?
    If you're using the web interface, please clear the browser cache, and then log back in to the URL I supplied above. Then, you can follow the steps in this document to convert your files: Getting Started with ExportPDF | Adobe Community

    It is not clear why you are facing this issue now.
    You can try it with another pdf file,It might be possible that there is some issue with your pdf file.

    When you no longer need the Adobe software on a computer or you wish to move it to another one, you should deactivate the software.
    See this link: how to deactivate software. Installation rules will let you install the software on two computers of the same platform (both windows or both mac) but you are limited to running it on only one at a time. If you have only installed it once, you should be able to install it on the other computer. If you have already installed the software twice and you don't have access to your previous computer or you upgraded your computer's hardware, replace a hard drive, upgraded your operating system, or reformatted your drive before deactivating your software, you can ask Adobe Support to help you deactivate the software from the machine. Just have your serial number or Adobe ID ready, and then contact support. Then you can install the software from the links below and enter your serial number to re-activate the software.

    Adobe PDF Pack and Export PDF are two different subscription.
    ExportPDF: This subscription would convert PDF file to different formats (DOCx, Xslx, PPTx, RTF)

    PDF Pack: This would do all the task that ExportPDF can do, additionally, it can convert the other formats to PDF as well and also combine multiple PDFs into One PDF.
