  • "file failed to be converted using Adobe ExportPDF online"

I have been getting errors for about a week when trying to convert a PDF to a word document. In Acrobat I get the error "File failed to be converted using Adobe ExportPDF Online" and when online using ExportPDF I get a conversion failure.
    Please help.

    Hi PeterChick,
Does it occur with all files or a specific file?
Are you trying to convert from within Reader or from Browser?
If from Reader then make sure you are signed in within Reader, also try updating Reader to the latest v11.0.09 and check.
If from Browser then have you checked with a different browser if possible?

  • Difficulty converting file keeps coming up with "file failed to be converted using Adobe ExportPDF online

Can't convert file keeps coming up with message "file failed to be converted using Adobe ExportPDF online.

    Hi Dude291,
I'm sorry that you're having trouble with ExportPDF. Can you please tell me a bit more about what's going on, so we can get to the bottom of the issue?
What browser are you using? Have you tried clearing the browser cache?
Are you converting from within Reader, or directly via the ExportPDF website?
Are you able to convert other files? Or is the error specific to this one file?
How large or complex is  the file that you're trying to convert?
Are you accessing ExportPDF from a networked computer that may have firewall/proxy settings that are limiting access to the Internet?
I think that's good for starters. Please get back to us with some detail about the problem and we will see what we can do.
    Best,
    Sara

This error can occur when you log in via Adobe Reader. Please see: "Error occurred when trying to access this service" when logging on to Acrobat.com

  • Cannot convert pdf file to Word using Adobe ExportPDF online...I get a timeout error after a wait of about 15 minutes

Oh...BTW...I am using Windows 7 with Chrome browser and I disabled text recognition.  The file is 3.7 MB.  It says it failed because it is taking too long to process however the Adobe export PDF notes that it can convert unlimited files to Word or Excel files.  Anything else I can try?  I exported it to Adobe.com and tried toconvert it there but it looks like the same process...and with the same result.

    Hi there,
It sounds like there may be an issue with the quality of the PDF. Not all PDFs are created equal, and especially those created from scanned documents can be problematic if the scan quality isn't the best. Is there a dark background on the PDF, or stray marks or smudges?
You can try converting with OCR disabled at outlined in this document: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (O... | Adobe Community. But, while that's a good test to find out where the problem lies, you'll end up with a Word document that isn't editable, so it's not an optimal solution.
Please let us know how it goes.

  • Batch Excel conversion using Adobe ExportPDF

    As of Subject!
Is it possible and massively convert a batch of PDF files (i.e., a whole folder) in Excel using Adobe ExportPDF online?
If not, is it possible coupling with Adobe Acrobat Pro batch conversion?

    More on this?
Do I need Acrobat Pro, or is it sufficient Acrobat Standard?
Allow me an OT: from which version can I active the "Upgrade" option?

  • Free trial Adobe ExportPDF

I've received an email from Adobe to say:
Welcome to the Adobe ExportPDF online service. Because you signed in using your Adobe account, you qualify for one free trial conversion. Simply upload a PDF file to convert it to a Word document in DOCX format.
Where do I go to trial the product? I can't find a link to upload a trial PDF anywhere on the site.

Our Adobe ExportPDF service does not support free trial conversions at this time. We have identified an issue in which some of our users are receiving emails advertising free trial conversions. We apologize for this and we are in the process of correcting it.
    Thanks,
    David

  • Want to cancel an automatic renewal for Adobe ExportPDF Annual?

I originally subscribed to an automatic renewal for Adobe ExportPDF Annual.   This I did back in 2012.  I no longer need this product.   How do I permanently cancel this latest and all further renewals and apply for a prorated refund?

I'm not sure if you can get the refund (maybe it's in the following link somewhere) but to cancel, go here: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cancel-subscription- acrobat-online-services.html

  • Can I merge comments from 2 pdfs with Adobe Acrobat online?

Can I merge comments from 2 pdfs with Adobe Acrobat online?  If so,  how?

    Hi gignc,
You can't merge comments using any of the Acrobat.com online services (ExportPDF, Adobe PDF Pack, and so on). But you can with an Acrobat subscription. Please see Adobe Acrobat X Standard * Publish comments from other reviewers from instructions.

  • Adobe ExportPDF not working

I am suddenly unable to convert a PDF document to Word.  When I sign in, the document  stalls on "Uploading file to Adobe Export online...." for several (6-8 hours). before giving an error message.  If I close the document and then open it, I still have the "uploading" message.  If I open a different PDF file, I still get the "uploading" message.  It usually only takes minutes to upload and convert a file, even one larger than the one that is giving me trouble.  Windows XP operating system; Word 2010 Home edition

I've moved your question to the Adobe ExportPDF forum.
