Adobe - Failing to install - HELP!!!

Hello.
I am having trouble installing A. Reader 7.0 to my Dual Boot G4.
After the loading bar has finished, a window appears with the following:-
Adobe Reader was unable to install and must quit.
I have also borrowed a friend's A. Professional 6.0 and the same window appears.
What is going on and how can I install please?

Delete all old versions of Shockwave by using Adobes uninstaller. You find it if u use the link above.
After uninstall u can download right version here:

Choose this one: 11.5.8.612
Before u install it, go to Program/Common Files/Adobe. There u delete the update folder.
Install Shockwave and restart before go to Isketch.
Cant garantee it works for u but it did for me.

i bought the app infinity blade 2 bt it hs denied the installation on my ipod touch 4.it copies half way through,bt stops and says on the screen tht the app has failed to install.help will be really appreciated!!

perhaps to every 'app failed to install' problem i have finally found out a soltuion.Generally in big files that is to say above 500 mb or any big file,if we pause and resume the file numerous times it gets corrupted.it has happened with me many a times now but i had not realised it,untill today though.i decided to redownload the app and it got downloaded in one go.now it works just perfect.how i came to know abt this is,i have modern combat 3 and at that time that app also had the same problem,it worked then becuase at that time there was a complete update of it,and i just updated it and i thought because of the update it worked.today while just looking at my pc i just saw the modern combat file and decided to unrar it,it went just fine.then i had the noble idea to unrar the infinity blade 2 file.and there,there.there were more than 6 files corrupt due to which the installation got failed everytime.i realised that the problem is with pausing and resuming the download has caused the files to corrupt.so guys while downloading a file,try to download it at one go,coz if u dont u can redeem the app again allright,but tell me is it worth the wait to wait for the app to get downloaded again

FATAL ERROR - DL failed to install

I ran updates to my Adobe 9 this AM and am now unable to use it. I am receiving a 'FATAL ERROR' message stating that ADOBE failed to install DL. I use this every day and I NEED it to run. What can be done to correct this error from ADOBE?

A customer service rep gave me a link to download off the Adobe site, but when I try to open the file to run it, I get this error message - "A problem occurred extracting the archive".

Yep. Nothing happens at all. Windows tries to execute the uninstaller, but I don't get any other screen and all activity stops for the MSI. I monitored it in Process Monitor and the MSI executable appears, but is quickly ended, like it couldn't find anything or something.
It's as if windows has a blank entry in Programs and Features, because it used to show the size of the Adobe application in the "Size" column. Now it's just blank. Link to screenshot below:

Note the install date. That's when I was able to successfully reinstall it. Now I can't even do that. I should also mention I tried Revo Uninstaller. It deleted one small registry key, but nothing changed.
By the way, is the CS cleaner supposed to ask for a disc in the drive when you run it? It refused to run unless I had one in it, so I used my install dvd.

Adobe Reader 11 MUI failing to install using transform and patch 11.0.10 via cmd/SCCM in one package

I have all the files, MST and the patch located in one folder. I am trying to use the following MSI command lines locally on my computer before I can attempt to deploy this via SCCM 2012. I am having issues either with the package not compatible or using /p and getting the MSIEXEC help window prompt. I've tried a few command lines:
msiexec /i AcroRead.msi PATCH="AdbeRdrUpd11010_MUI.msp" TRANSFORMS="AcroRead.mst"
msiexec /i AcroRead.msi /p AdbeRdrUpd11010_MUI.msp TRANSFORMS="AcroRead.mst"
msiexec /i AcroRead.msi TRANSFORMS="AcroRead.mst" /p AdbeRdrUpd11010_MUI.msp
Adding /qn on the end makes the install work silently when not attempting to include the patch, but fails to install it silently when only using the transform file that I have selected in the wizard to silently install.
We have 5 different versions from 8.0 through 10.0 in our environment of 3000 machines. Sadly this was not managed before...I can easily update our current 11.0 versions that range from 11 to 11.0.09 by only applying the patch to them but need to get the full install working for the 2500 machines I need to target.
I tried using the /a command which seems to work, but creates program files and common files folders inside my adobe folder on the desktop when executing it from the cmd. Am i suppose to package that folder all in one and then use the /i command to install adobe? I've been researching for a week but finally hit a wall where I dont think I am getting anywhere.

This is for the plain reader version, but we use MUI now (due to other languages required in our environmet). I get to the part where it asks to apply the patch to the AIP folder but it fails.
msiexec /p AdbeRdrUpd11010.msp /a C:\Reader\11.0.10\AcroRead.msi
I changed this to account for the MUI naming,
msiexec /p AdbeRdrUpd11010_MUI.msp /a C:\Reader\11.0.10\AcroRead.msi
But I get the windows prompt that says this package can not be opened, please verify. I ensured that both the patch and base install were MUI versions, and i downloaded fresh copies of each. I also unblocked the patch so that it can run. No luck so far.
EDIT: Using another guide i found the command line (modified the path to my location) and this worked,
msiexec /a C:\adobe\Reader\11.0.10\AcroRead.msi /qb /p AdbeRdrUpd11010_MUI.msp TARGETDIR=C:\adobe\Reader\11.0.10\

Adobe creative cloud shows update for photoshop but fails to install

I recently downloaded the trial version of PhotoShop through the creative cloud app for my Microsoft surface pro3.
The program seemed to completely install apart from at the end there was an update that failed.
It still shows an update in the cc app but when you click on it, it attempts to install but fails.
Any help?

Adobe Application Manager Won't Open and CC Desktop failed to install

I am running Win 7 Ultimate. Adobe Application Manager Won't Open and CC Desktop failed to install on my computer after I signed up for Adobe CC tonight. I am currently using the CS5 suite (perpetual license) and do not want to uninstall any of the programs until I am successfully running the Adobe CC versions. The AAM gives me an error message saying that it failed to open when I select it, and the creative cloud installer fails to install. I have tried restarting my computer. Help? This is very frustrating. I am a student and use this software on a daily basis, and can't afford to not have these programs available when I need them.

Problem installing Adobe Photoshop Elements10--"Shared Technologies" fails to install.

I have had a problem trying to install a purchased disc set of Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. The "Shared Technologies" has failed to install so the installation is incomplete. Tried online chat, which was helpful, but failed to solve the problem before we were cutoff. Need help. Thanks.

Same problem. Creative Cloud subscriber running Mac 10.10.2 on iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014). All apps work fine EXCEPT for Adobe Acrobat XI. I have tried 100 times and 100 solutions. NOTHING works.

Adobe CS5 Design Standard - Some updates failed to install

I am tying to find a solution to this problem, and am unable to find a way to contact Adobe directly for customer assistance. When I click on the Customer Support link at the bottom, the page that loads says, "Error 'This serial number is not for a qualifying product...' when installing an upgrade or upsell." I didn't install an upgrade version of CS5, and I didn't have it on more than one computer. My hard drive crashed at the end of 2013, and I had to replace it with a new one. I wasn't able to deactivate the product on the old hard drive, but it installed just fine on the new one. Now the updates will not work.
Does anyone know how to fix this or how to contact Adobe directly for help? Thanks.

I am also experiencing this same issue. I purchased the CS5 Master Collection in 2011 and it is now failing to install updates. My Adobe Application Manager is giving me the same error messages that you are getting. The Customer Support link takes me to the same website. Adobe Support just told me to come on here to find the answers that I seek because CS5 is no longer supported by support specialists. It's pretty discouraging to see that nobody has answered you since you posted this in July.

Adobe Desktop Application no longer loads after failing to install After Effects CC

Hi,
I just tried to install After Effects from the Desktop Application and it failed. Not only that, the application crashed and won't load anymore. I tried a reboot and it didn't do anything. I can see the process "Creative Cloud" in Activity Monitor, but nothing in the Apple Toolbar where it normally resides.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You may need to uninstall and reinstall... running the cleaner after the uninstall
