  • Everytime I try to update a adobe falsher player plug-in, it fails all the time..

it will not let me update my adobe flash player plug-in. I turned off all my firewalls and still wont load!!

I'm sorry. I wish that I could help you with this. But if you are getting a message that the card is now being declined, there must be some reason for it.
Are you sure that the card hasn't expired? Have you contacted the credit card company or bank to see if there is some problem with your account?
I would start with the credit card company and make sure that there is no problem with the card. If you are certain that the card is still good, you will have to contact iTunes support in order to get it sorted out.
    Email them from here.

If you want to try calling them, you can try here. I have no idea of how that will work, but all of the Apple worldwide support numbers can be found here.

    Hi,
Why this occurs? ANd what to do to stop it? I have the newest version.
    Thank you

Huh? This is just the placeholder warning that gets prompted in the live page.  If it appears in any of the browsers, do as it says and re-install Flash player.

  • Adobe Flash Player Impact Mavericks Performance

After I installed Adobe Falsh Player on Mavericks the system performance impacted. The mouse icon keeps changing to the rotated cycle.
I checked the system.logs and I found postscipt font performance exception everytime I open youtube from Safari.
After an hour of use, the system hangs and the only way to resolve is is to do power botton reset.
I am using Mac Mini Mid 2011 with 8 GB Memory.
    2 Storege Drivers:
    120 SSD, and 500 HDD.
    Any Advice?

First, try troubleshooting duplicate or corrupted fonts >  Mac Basics: Font Book
    If nothing there helped...
Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
    Not empty the Safari cache.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select:  Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
    Now try a video.

  • Can't install Adobe Flash Player 11.6.602.180

I have Windows 7; 64 bit and the adobe falsh player only installs 50 % before saying to cloase all IE windows - but they are already closed - install fails.  I can't uninstall either even when I download the uninstaller and I try to manually delete the files - says I don't have admin rights or something
When I run MSI installers it gives me an error 1722 problem with Windows installer package...
    Can anyone help me?
    Todd

Download the offline installer(s) from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#mai n-pars_header and save it to disk, then close all browser windows (check with the Task Manager's Processes tab) and run the downloaded installer.

  • Notification - Adobe Flash player 14.0r0 has stopped working - takes multiple clicks to close.

When going onto Facebook or E-bay a notification screen comes up with:
'Adobe Flash player 14.0r0 has stopped working'
    It has 2 options:
    1. Check online for a solution & close the program.
    2. Close the program.
It takes multiple clicks, 10 to 12, on either option to close the screen.
    Would appreciate any help.

While you are troubleshooting this, it might be helpful, to avoid unnecessary pain on sites where Flash is not actually essential, to set Flash to Click-to-Play ("Ask to Activate"). This will delay Flash from starting on a page until you approve it.
To set "Ask to Activate", open the Add-ons page using either:
    * Ctrl+Shift+a
    * "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins. Look for "Shockwave Flash" and change "Always Activate" to "Ask to Activate".
When you visit a site that wants to use the Flash, you should see a notification icon in the address bar and one of the following: a link in a black rectangle in the page or an infobar sliding down between the toolbar area and the page.
Flash might not work any better after you approve it, however...

  • How can I lodge a complaint about Adobe Flash Player?

How can I lodge a complaint about Adobe Flash Player? When I updated Adobe Flash Player this morning it also installed a McAfee scanning software without any warning or notification. I find this totally unacceptable. But I cannot find any information on the Adobe website that will allow me to lodge my complaint. Which I also find totally unacceptable.
    Ho hum.

This is a an old complaint. I would have thoughtas much bad karma as Adobe has received would have stopped this practice espcially since it found that many time McAfeee either gets protection signatures wrong or cause more problems than it fixes.
I don't know whether mailto:[email protected] is still effective.
At one time a disgruntled Adobe products user created a FaceBook or twitter page. And many in past have claimed when there complaints got ignored or laughed at by Adobe. They suddenly got action whe airring their complaint on this FaceBook or Twitter page.
There should be a big warning Box stating:

Do you wish have Adobe install Products not requested on your computer yes__  or no__ please use a √

  • Adobe Flash Player has been crashing for months. Can you please correct associated problems?

The following is the message after the successful download from within Microsoft Internet Explorer and Installation of Adobe Flash Player on 8/17/2011 (today): You are now running Adobe Flash Player 10.3.183.5
And the following version of Adobe Shockwave Flash Player was downloaded and installed as a plug-in for Mozilla Firefox on 8/15/2011: Shockwave Flash 10.3.183.5
The following link was not working, and in fact access deteriorated since installing the latest Firefox plug-in for Adobe Shockwave Flash Player.
    http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/interchart/interchart.asp?symb=DJIA&time=20
For example it stopped supplying daily data for longer Timelines. Then yesterday the panel on the left side of the webpage appeared garbled. I had been continually getting crashes of the Flash Player for months but never got any notice that I was not up to date.

I find it strange that months of agreeing to send these crash reports did not result in any notifications of updates to Firefox.
Confusion has been introduced because of the similar names for the same application. Microsoft Internet Explorer’s notification states that Adobe Flash Player is not up to date and requests download and installation of the same version that had already been installed within Mozilla Firefox, which refers to this application as Shockwave Flash (of the same version). PLEASE SEE IF USERS CAN BE PROVIDED WITH SOME DISCUSSION OF THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN THESE APPLICATIONS.
What appears currently as fixes on the Firefox website for this application does not fix the problem, but so far it seems that the download from Internet Explorer of Adobe Flash Player (today) fixes the problem of the plug-in. This fix was NOT mentioned within the Mozilla Firefox website. Please note that at this point I do not have enough experience using the “fix” to know if I will not continue to have other problems with this plug-in.
I'm running Windows XP (latest SP and updates) and cannot use Internet Explorer beyond Version 8, since the later versions are apparently only for later MS OSs. Updating to a later OS with older hardware I do not believe is advisable.

  • Adobe Flash player keeps crashing, but it's up to date on my computer. So is Firefox. Help?

For some reason, starting today, every page I visit on Firefox (no matter what) comes up with a notification that the Adobe Flash Player plugin has crashed. It started when I was trying to attach a word document to an email to one of my professors on my Google-supported school email account. Every time I tried to attach the document, Flash Player crashed and it wouldn't upload. I finally had to send it using my Live email, which worked, but now Flash Player crashes on every webpage I visit in about 2 seconds. My Flash Player is up to date, as is my version of Firefox. What's going on here? (Note: None of the information of the "Adobe Flash Player has crashed" page was helpful at all.)

Yes, this has been a problem for a lot of people. ADOBE just released Flash Player 11.0.1.152, and that seems to have fixed the problem. It still am finding it a bit laggy to load Flash scripts, but it no longer displays the crashed window.
You can download the file from the official Flash website here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

  • Error:  Flash Player  "Adobe Flash Player Update Service 11.3 r300 has encountered a problem ..."

I get the following message as soon as I boot up my PC:
"Adobe Flash Player Update Service 11.3 r300 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
Anyone else experiencing the same problem?
According to Adobe, this is the first time they've heard of this issue.

    RE:

Unchecking auto updates does not stop the message for me.
Sorry to hear that too.  I actually recommended this to a few friends who were having the same issue, and it worked for them.
But, I'm wondering....  Have you tried disabling the check for updates settings in both the (Window's Control Panel's) Global settings manager and the (online) Global Notifications Settings panel?  (That's the one on this page -- http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager02.htm l )  On that page, click on the "Globe with the Check Mark" tab and make sure that the box is blank.
    Hope this helps.

  • Flash 11.7.700.169: "Adobe Flash Player 11.7 r700 has stopped working"

Okay, I posted this already, and have had no one help me. I posted this 2 days ago!!! Original post: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5314268#5314268
Please. If I'm missing something, let me know. If there's help, where is it?
    Where's Adobe's prompt help?
If it helps, here's the oringal message I posted:
I have encountered this problem many times now. Way to many to be anywhere near happy about. I can understand having an issue with it and looking up stuff on my smart phone instead. But this program is also affecting my online game World of Warcraft. I'm not happy.
Anytime I open any program that uses the flashplayer, I get the pop up window of "Adobe Flash Player 11.7 r700 has stopped working", and then it force closes.
I have repeatedly removed it, re-installed, you name it. It's not working.
    Here's my information:
    Browser:     Mozilla Firefox (20.0.1)
Player:        Adobe Flash Player 11 (11.7.700.169)
System:       Windows 7, Vista Home Edition with Service Pack 1
Computer:  eMachine T525, AMD Athlon BE-2350 Processor, NVIDIA GeForce 3100, 320 GB hard drive
I have read other people having this issue, and reviewed the information given. 1 Adobe reply to the same issue as mine to a different person was:
    1. Chris Campbell,
      May 7, 2013 6:52 PM    in reply to miamiman55
    Report
To help troubleshoot we'll need the following system information:
    Browser
    Exact Flash   Player version
    Steps to reproduce the problem
When reporting issues with video or audio, it's also helpful to get your system hardware and driver details.  Instructions for finding this information can be found here:
    Windows
    Mac
Finally, sometimes video and audio problems are caused at a lower level and not directly related to Flash Player.  I recommend trying both of the links below to see how they perform.  If the problem exists with both, then Flash Player is most likely not the culprit as the HTML5 video link does not use Flash Player when playing.  You can verify the use of HTML5 by right clicking the HTML5 video and looking for the words "About HTML5" at the bottom of the context menu.
    HTML5   video
    Non-HTML5 video
I did the test at the bottom of this person's reply to test if I was having an issue with the HTML5 or not.  Both the 'HTML5 video' and 'Non-HTML5 video' ran perfectly fine for me.
Please help! I'm losing my mind with this program! I've been having to deal with this for months now, and am getting really annoyed, and frustrated, especially since my calm down and chilling time after work, kids, and family is my playing WoW, and I can't even do that!

Ok, lets start. The first option you gave me. Didn't work. I went into safe mode like it said (RealPlayer is not on this computer). The problem still presisted. I then made a new profile, and still the same responces. Tried default one more, no avail.
I then prceeded to the step for the mms.cfg file.  Unfortunately, I cannot access that file. It's not readable on the computer. (Such problems with every turn I take )
So, I then proceeded to the second option of the hardware acceleration. Talk about falling flat on my face. It wouldn't even pull up my type of flash for me to even access the settings. It gave me the little sad face stating "Adobe Flash has crashed".
I have provided screen shots of what I get when I get the Adobe crashes.
This is the first popup window I get whenever I start to have issues with Flash.
This is showing what I got for the type of flash. except, first time it showed, there was the sad "Flash Crashed" face image. Notice the notification in the right bottom on the screen. That pops up everytime Flash forces close.
This is the sad "Flash crashed" face I am talking about. And yes, I submit reports everytime I get the chance to.
I don't know if this would help. But this popup happens occasionally with the Flash popup.
Just an FYI; that first Flask Popup even occured everytime I went to attach an image.  Hopefully this will help figure out what's going on. Please let me know if you need more info.
