when i try to play a vidieo my adobe flash player fails. But if I got to internet explorer it works fine

Adobe Flash Player 10.1 is not working
Hallo,
My problem is that everything that uses flash player, does not work at the moment and says that I need the latest version. (I cannot see a video on you tube for example.)
I downloaded AFP 10.1 several times (install-uninstall-reboot several times), I even checked the "Add-remove programms" and the "Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X" is there, but when I get to see a youtube video it says again to get the latest version. Each install was successful, but it still doesn't work.
Here's some information about my computer in case of a need :
Windows XP Professional
Internet Explorer 8
Norton 360
and I also have some issues with pop-ups (I don't know if this is related)
Note that:Today I was asked to update the AFP on the firefox and I did and until now it works perfectly.
(I use both firefox and internet explorer)

Yes of course I kept MBAM on my desktop as a shortcut (was actually installed in C:\Program files) and it became my new friend .
I am so suspicious now on everything that I am scanning my pc everyday!!
I saw the scanning works without disabling Norton components, but you still think I have to do it , right?

Why Adobe Flash Player 11.3 r300 not working appropriately in Firefox 13.0?
Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64bits Pt-Br

IE9 (Adobe Flash Player Active-x) 11.3 r300
In time: In both browsers (Firerox and IE9) Adobe Flash Player is slower than normal and in Firerox sometimes it crash.
My System:I too have an 8GB RAM and quad core processor on my desktop and my laptop it is an Intel Quad i7 core, 8GB RAM. When there was any sluggishness, it was not Flash, but something else causing the heavy CPU useage because it was fighting with Flash.
On my computer, I went into FireFox Add-ons, then checked the extensions and plugins.The one problem I had was with a Real Player plugin. It allowed the recording and download of any video, with an App style button that appears above the the video itself when the cursor is placed there. For me that was disabled by FireFox because of conflicts, but even in the disabled state, it caused Flash issues. When I uninstalled the extension or plugin, Flash worked fine.
It may be the same, or another plugin or extension that is causing the issue. FireFox sites say to disable, but that proved useless to do because disabling for the RealPlayer plugin made no difference, it had to be removed completely to see the difference.
If no greyed out ones, then uninstall all the plugins and test FireFox. If all works great, reinstall one by one and each time test FireFox with Flash. You will likely find which one it is and know what to do from there.
I know it is a bit of a hassle, but from the experience I had so far, Flash was not the issue, it was from another plugin.
If it is Real Player, then disable the plugin by:
Close Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer if either is running.
Click "Start," click "All Programs," click "Real" and click "RealPlayer." (Or click the RealPlayer shortcut to open it)
Click the "RealPlayer" menu button at the top-left corner of the RealPlayer window and click "Preferences."
Click "Downloading and Recording" category near the bottom of the list of categories at the left side of the preferences window.
Uncheck the "Enable Web Downloading and Recording" checkbox by clicking it.
Click "OK."
Re-open Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer.
Worst comes to worst, uninstall real player completely or if there is another program that installed a problem plugin to FireFox, install that.
Let us know how this worked out. -

Adobe flash player downloads but does not work

You should see a flash animation if the Flash player was installed properly. That you aren't seeing it means that it hasn't been.

HT5655 Feb 2013 Adobe Flash Player Upgrade Install Does not work - metafile issue
I tried uploading the Feb 2013 update without success. Adobe troubleshooting suggested uninstalling existing version of AFP - which I did - still get "Metafile Instalation failed" - now have NO AFP. Adobe says they are aware of the issue and working on it. Any ideas as to how to reupload my old AFP version??

I've been trying to fix this issue with Adobe for 5 days now and no one is coming back to me (tried the terminal cd solution and it doesn't work).
Luigi could you expand on where you were directed to find a solution? Running
sudo ./Install\ Adobe\ Flash\ Player.app/Contents/MacOS/Install\ Adobe\ Flash\ Player
has only given me a "command no found" message.

Adobe Flash CS6 Image Filling Preloader not working?
I'm trying to make a flash preloader using a image that slowly fills up.
I used the tutorial on this site:

I tried following the instructions until I finished and saw it wasn't working correctly. When i tried testing by simulating internet speed the screen showed blank for the first few seconds until the image loaded already half-way filled up. It's supposed to load completely transparent and slowly fill up from the bottom.
So, I downloaded the source file from the tutorial link i showed above to see if i had dont something wrong while following the instructions only to find it happens there too... I uploaded a video of my screen on Youtube to show what is happening to me:
Does anybody know why this is happening? Could it maybe be because I'm using the newer Adobe CS6? Any help is appreciated.The code is:

I did a little testing and noticed when I deleted the line "rectMask_mc._height = 1;" it still does the same filling animation I got before that starts halfway.. so I'm guessing that command no longer works in CS6?!

I just tried the "rectMask_mc._height = 1;" command by itself and it works...
I'm sorry im just new to Flash, trying to learn the basics and reading up on tutorials but they are all outdated so I'm trying to figure out whats the problem with it not loading with its height at "1" then filling up when I'm using the entire code. The height command only works when I delete the rest of the code. -
My adobe flash plugin for firefox is not working? I have windows 7
I have uninstalled - reinstalled, I have checked plugins - and when I run the plugincheck via mozilla it says it needs up dated. ?? I have windows 7. I have specifically downloaded the version for firefox flashplaer 16 and windows / browser is still not recognizing it. This has been an issue I have been trying to correct now for 3 days and is sucking up my time as a designer working from my home. I'm very disappointed in the creation and issue of this product. Please help.

Adobe Flash CS5 - Blur effect & tween not working
When I try to create a tween for the blur, so it will blur into focus, the tween just wont work. I go to frame 130, keyframe, add blur filter, create clasic tween. But when i go to frame 131 it instantly pops into focus instead of going along the tween time span to blur in gradually(I have the next keyframe at 160). Anyone have any ideas?! This boggles my mind!

Lightroom 5.6 would not open. I only get a flash picture then I get an error message. The program is closed and there is a notification if a solution is available.

I changed the setting in the view menu and now everything appears to be working fine. I cannot explain why it stopped working before because I hadn't made any previous changes to the view options.

the newest version of FLASH PLAYER 10.1 would not work on my 32bit FIREFOX browser. so I installed flash player on a 32bit VERSION of internet explorer. it worked fine for a few days till ADOBE asked me if i wanted to update my player. Hello I have a Dell inspiron 6400 computer with window's home vista and with the latest standard Internet explorer. i was enjoying the fact that i could watch Youtube and other such sites until i was prompt to downlaod the latest version (10.1) flash player. which like anyone else I did, but not the mcfee anti virious as it would be inconflicsion with Norton anti virious.
Now when i go to view a youtube etc I just get a blank or black screen.
Please how can i rectify this problem

I am so frustrated about Adobe Flash player. I can not play any Facebook games, open certain files and pictures and documents that I need to access because not only does this phone not do it but my old Palm Pre couldn't do it either. I have had so many times where I needed to access things either online or via email, or message that I can not even look at because of this. I have to wait until I for home or ask someone else to do it for me which is embarrassing. I rave about my iPhone 4S all the time because it is truly great except for this. When it use to happen with my Pal Pre I figures once I got my iPhone that it wouldn't happen anymore but I guess I was completely wrong. I have had this problem for years and always get a message saying that it's being worked on. Well a couple of years is a long time to work on it. I understand about contracts and stuff but why is it taking a company such as Apple to be able to get it for their products? I get a lot and always want to play the games on Facebook but I can't do it on most of them at least the ones I have tried. So I can not play against anyone at that time I have to wait until I get home or use someone else's computer or something. Please tell me that in the extremely near future that this will not be a problem anymore. PLEASE!! I am sure I am not the only one out there who is having issues and if you do get it available please let there be an upload/upgrade for current phones and not just for future versions of Apple phones. That just wouldnt be very fair to all of your loyal customers and tell everyone to get your products because they are great and end up leaving this little problem out until they by your phone. Especially if they just got the phone they have. You guys are awesome with technology I have faith that you can make this available to all Apple products old and new by uploads or upgrades. Thank you hopefully can give me some info about the status with this or if there wen is one. I would have thought that being a company such as you are that it would already be taking care of right from the beginning and not wait years to take care of somewhat that is very important ro have especially when there is so much our there using Adobe Flash now. Hi, can anybody help me please, i have upgraded from Mountain Lion to Mavericks, since then my Adobe flash player don't want to work.
I clicked on update and downloaded the update from Adobe and installed it.
Every time i get an error saying - "that this wasn't downloaded from App Store".
i can not find it in App Store.
What must i do?Try this: in your Utilities folder launch Adobe Flash Player Install Manager and run it to completely uninstall Flash. Then go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and download Flash
Once downloaded, double-click to open it and run the installer. If you get a message saying the file can't be opened, or similar, Control+click or right click and select 'open' and should then be able to proceed to install it. -
Adobe Flash Builder 4.5 has stopped working
My Adobe Flash Builder 4.5 has stopped working.

I had another look on the forums and have managed to cobble together an ini file which launches Eclipse (as the IDE) instead of Flash Builder but it's not ideal although it does seem to work.
