Akamai download manager is a tool which speed up the downloads. You can download FB through Akamai (default download - it ask you install if not installed alredy) or directly.
direct link is available as File 1 of 1 on the small popup window that was opened when you click download link. i have seen that directlink is not displayed for some users for some reason.
if you dont see the direct link just install through Akamai download manager and dont close that small window it's gonna start the download of Flash Builde_4_6.exe automatically
if the download doesnt start Just try downloading from the start again. still you see the problem try different browser. For saved file location, you can serch the file with filename on your machine.

I can't download Adobe Flash Builder at all.

Hello, i've tried to download flash builder 4.5-4.7 trial, premium, standard etc, i've followed instructions, turned off firewalls, popups etc. i really just need a trial version of Adobe Flash Builder. I am going onto my 3rd year in multimedia trying to learn how to do augmented reality with as3 and flash builder for my third year project. please help, i need a link or something.

1 year ago I bought Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 Standard an i have license key. Installation files i lost. Creative Cloud contain Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 Premium, and does not contain Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 Standard. WHERE CAN I FIND or DOWNLOAD ADOBE FLASH BUILDER 4.7 STANDARD?

And yes, you can call the Local Help by pressing the F1 key but for that you need to have Adobe Help Manager(AIR application) installed.
Open Adobe Help Manager->Go To General Settings->Select "Yes" under Display Local Help Content onlyand hit done.
Launch CS6 application->Press F1 and it should open the pdf file instead of online help.

Cannot download AES plugins for Adobe Flash Builder CS6 v 4.6

I have Adobe Flash Builder CS6 version 4.6 on my Mac and it start and run fine
I try to download AES 4.5 plug-in for Flash Builder 4.6 from the Help-Software Update menu.
Most plug ins were successfully downloaded and installed, except one from Adobe (AES plugin 4.5)
I come across an error dialog that read: Problem Occurred: Contacting Software Sites has encountered a problem. and: No repository found at http://aesplugins.adobe.com/aes/tooling/plugin/10.0
I have tried to use web browser to go to the address above directly and the result is:
Object not found!
The requested URL was not found on this server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again.

Sad that there is no simple reporting mechanism avaialble to report simple problems like this nor appears to be proactive monitoring for problems like this. The link was tried on FF13 and Chrome.

Found to be platform specific. Occurs on Linux only AFAIK. Was able to download on a Windows machine with FF13.

How to dowload Adobe Flash Builder 32 bit version, when i'm using 64 bit version of windows. In adobe creative cloud i don't have posibility to choose version.

both versions are usually packaged together.
on a 32 bit system, only the 32 bit program will be installed. on a 64 bit system, both 32 bit and 64 bit programs will install.

I get some trouble exporting mobile application with Android Adobe Flash Builder Burrito

I make a simple mobile application with Adobe Flash Builder Burrito, and it works well on windows.
Then I want to export it as a .apk and install on android emulator. But I failed. I got some messages as follow:

Then, I download the AdobeAIRSDK2.6, unzip, and copy the files to the sdk(D:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder Burrito\sdks\4.5.0).
I change <application xmlns=http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/2.5> to <application xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/2.6">.
Then It can't export it as a .apk...

Webcam and Whiteboard not working with Adobe AIR with Adobe Flash Builder

I am trying to build a simple chat service using Adobe Flash Builder target for desktop AIR( my final objective is to port it to android). My adobe AIR version is 2.5.0 and below is my source code:

Basically when i debug it with AIR, the chat is working properly but the webcam and whiteboard just don't work....I really don't know what's wrong with it already...Appreciate it if anyone can help,thanks!!

My take is , is your autopromote tuned on for the room. I mean whats
your user role when an user enters the room(who is not host), is it 10
or 50. If its 10 i.e. viewer , then he cant use his own cam etc. You
need to take a look at the logs when an user enters and if its 10 and
you want to give him these permissions, turn autopromote on from the
devconsole for the room to make his role 50 i.e. publisher.
I just now downloaded 2.5.1 AIR and created a new project with your
source and I am able to use everything.

Problem installing Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 (Windows 64)

I am having an issue installing the 64 bit version of Adobe Flash Builder 4.7. I had no issues with the 32 bit version.
First, I am unable download the installer via the Akamai Download Manager. When the download is about two thirds complete I get the error "Content verification failure (Content invalid)". I've tried it multiple times with multiple different browsers but no luck.
I am able to get the installer using the Alternative Download Method however when I go to use it the file extraction progress gets to 100% and then I get then I get the error, "A problem occured while extracting some files. Check available space on your computer and the write privileges on the desitnation folder".
I have 72 GB available and the installer extracts the files to my desktop to which I have full read and write privileges. I am logged as a user with admin privileges and have tried running the file as Administrator.
Any ideas are appeciated!

Jill from your description it appears you are facing stability issues with your current Internet connection. This appears to be causing the download to become corrupted based off the errors you have posted.
I would recommend using an alternate Internet connection to see if you face the same difficulties. If you are connected wirelessly for example please try a wired connection.
You can also download the installation files to a USB drive on another computer and then install from the USB drive.

When will Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 support iOS 5.1 and the retina display?

I have installed Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 along with the Adobe AIR 3.3 SDK and am understanding that there isn't support for iOS 5.1 nor the Retina display devices, is this correct? If so, when will this be available? If not, what is a good workaround?

note sure if I'm much help other than to CONFIRM it is working for me by using the sdk WITHOUT the compiler. Check out adobe's little note: "Note : Flex users will need to download the original AIR SDK without the new compiler."
I am using FB 4.7 with AIR 3.6 and seems to compile correctly for iOS.
Maybe try reinstalling flash builder?
I honestly don't know if the JRE has anything to do with it... I'm using 1.7 ....to see what JRE you're using, open the Java Control Panel (I right click my java orange icon and hit properties), select the Java tab, then hit "View..."

Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 Plug-in Utility Not Installing on Eclipse

I am trying to install Flash Builder 4.7 Plugin into Eclipse. I have downloaded Flash Builder Premium via Adobe's Creative Cloud. I have also installed Eclipse Indigo. I am running this all on Mac OSX.
According to a tutorial I found I needed to go into the Utilities folder found in the Flash Builder install and run the Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 Plug-in Utility. It seemed to run fine. Afterwards you should be able to see "Flash Builder" in the help menu of Eclipse. However it is not there. You should also be able to set Flash Builder preferences under Window --> Preferences. Flash Builder is also not visible there.
According the the tutorial there should also be this file "fb-4_7-plugin-encoded.link" created in the "dropins" folder of Eclipse. This file is created. However it is blank.
I looked into the installation log and there was only one concerning message.
Move File: Destination: /Applications/eclipse/dropins/fb-4_7-plugin-encoded.link
Status: WARNING
Additional Notes: WARNING - There was a problem moving /Applications/eclipse/dropins/fb-4_7-plugin-encoded.link
I am unsure what this means the documentation seems to be pretty sparse. However, it seems to be the only problem in the entire installation process. Any ideas or suggestions on what could be causing this error would be great.

I went into dropins/fb-4_7-plugin-encoded.link and edited it to say the following:

Conflicting or prerelease version of Adobe Flash Builder 4.6

I am installing CS6 Master Collection. However, Flash Builder 4.6 can't be installed due to "A conflicting or prerelease version of Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 exists on this computer. The conflicting version must be removed before installing from the current media."
First, I tried to uninstall, but Flash Builder was not listed. Then I deleted all flash builder related files, no help.
Then I deleted all Flash Builder related registry entries, no success.
Finally I downloaded and ran the cleaner tool (it does not have any Flash Builder related selection) and restarted, but nothing seems to help.

I too have this problem. I have always installed a complete master collection without discarding the previous version as a 'fail-safe' incase some old files do not upgrade/translate properly. I currently have the full CS3, CS4, CS5 and CS5.5 on my computer. I have had to install CS6 but without Flash Builder 4.6 due to the error "A conflicting or prerelease version of Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 exists on this computer. I do not really want to have to uninstall past versions. I have never had to do this in the past? I have also done a search and can't find anything that says Flash Builder 4.6 It seems that Flash Builder 4.5 is the most recent version on my computer that was installed with CS5.5. The only trial (or prerelease) software I have installed is Muse. This was installed months after installing Master Collection CS5.5.
Going through the troubleshooting info at post 6. It seems like it Flash Builder 4.5 (ie the previous CS5.5 install) that is causing the conflict. See text as copied from the log "WARNING: DW020: {2FC6B122-6F1F-409C-8FF0-8F8369D7F30B} Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 4.6.1.0 conflicts with: {9D0088AD-BBB1-470B-B7B8-520EDEFAE5F3} Adobe Flash Builder 4.5 4.5.0.0 Please uninstall these products, restart your computer and then run this installer again."
After uninstalling Flash Builder 4.5 (part of CS5.5 collection), I was then able to install Flash Builder 4.6. I then tried to reinstall the Flash Builder 4.5 using my CS5.5 installer but this came up as already installed; so it appears that you cannot have both Flash Builder 4.5 and Flash Builder 4.6 installed on the same computer. Is this what Adobe intended ? What is the reason for this?

BlackBerry Tablet OS Plug-in for Adobe Flash Builder 4.5

Recently my FB 4.5 Updater automatically downloaded and installed BlackBerry Tablet OS Plug-in for Adobe Flash Builder 4.5
I do NOT need this plug-in. I have got to get rid of it from system. But there seems to be no way to uninstall it. I have tried to look everywhere
on my system to find an UNINSTALLER to uninstall it but to no avail. Please advice as to how to uninstall this unwanted plug-in.

I have used almost 6 recovery software paid and free and didn't intstalled on that drive where my original files are located so that it don't get overwritten.
All of them are able to recover some files like
.project
public/bin-debug folder
.settings folder
But my .php files i located in web root folder.Those file by i connect data/services. I mean PHP project files are deleted.
I had following structure of files
<Web root > php scritps to connect data\services\UserService.php                  (this file)
<Web root > php scritps to connect data\services\EmployeeService.php          (this file)
<Web root > php scritps to connect data\test\test.php                                    (this file)
<Web root > php scritps to connect data\Imp files to connect data using PHP and MySql.txt (this file)
Files marked by "this files " are lost and not found by any recovery software.
I need those php and txt files specifically.

Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 Installation Fails

I made a package with AAME adobe tool of Adobe Flash Builder. I obtain a nice .msi. I am in company deployment. My silent command line is : "msiexec / i" / / FlashBuilder.msi "/ q. But the install rollback, i don't know why.
I do not have older version installed on my computer. This is included in the Master Collection CS6
