Adobe Flash CC Error

Hello,
I work with in Lawrence Technological University and I had a student come up to me today explaining a problem he was having with in Flash CC. The problem was when he was drawing a circle real fast with the brush tool it would render in a square formation. But, when drawing the circle slow it would render perfect as how he drew it. Also, on the mac version of Adobe it is running fine but on pc it creates this problem. Last thing is that Adobe CC is running with in a Lenovo W510 with upgraded ram so it is probably not the computer.
Thanks, Mark

This is fixed in the Flash Pro CC update - 13.0.1 that is availble for download.
Please navigate to Help->Updates menu to install the updates.

Hope this helps.

I tried to download the update of Adobe Flash Player BUT every time I try to download it... Look at the screen shot. ERROR.
Please help me I am really happy if someone here can help me.

    Hello,
The log file indicates there are permissions issues on a couple of files and they are not being removed.  This is preventing the installation of the new version.  Please run the uninstaller, posted here Uninstall Flash Player | Windows, and post an updated FlashInstall.log file, and a screenshot of the files remaining in the /Macromed/Flash directory after running the uninstaller.  Please only run the uninstaller and do not attempt to re-install at this time.
    Thank you.

  • Hotmail ad is causing Adobe Flash Player error (REVISED)

    Hi,
This is an updated version of my question (see original question posted here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/874194)
I'm now using Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421 (32-bit edition) on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine and using Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.34.
In my original question, I was receiving the following error. I am still receiving the following error. Whenever I check my e-mail on Hotmail, I get the following error:
    Here are some problems:
    1. When I click on "SETTINGS," the dialogue box closes, nothing else happens, and the problem doesn't go away, even after I restart the browser.
    2. I also tried using the 64-bit version of Internet Explorer and Adobe Flash Player Square (beta) and received the same error.
    3. The problem appears to be caused by a sidebar ad on the Hotmail home page.
    4. I must use Hotmail.
    5. I must use Internet Explorer for various reasons.
I would like to not have this error box pop up all the time.
    Any suggestions?

Hi, I wasn't sure if that would make a difference or not. I'll see if I can find the Hotmail contact info for you.
Actually, I wouldn't want to prohibit Flash Player from putting this warning up. There is a reason and it is for your Security. As far as that Setting not working, that in my opinion is a good thing. Re-read what that Setting does. Why would that URL/ad site need to communicate with the Internet? For what purpose? Trojans like to communicate with the Internet too:-)
You nor I have no idea what this site is all about or even up to. I'd be very careful with this until I knew more about it.
I would run a full scan with your Anti-Virus and then I would report this URL and the circumstances to them.
My problem is that this URL was flagged and that it wants to communicate with the Internet. Now I've seen hundreds of ads and have not received anything like that message with that wording.
Let me know and I'll get back to you with some Hotmail info.
    Thanks,

  • Hotmail ad is causing Adobe Flash Player error...need a fix or workaround

    Hi,
I'm using Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421 (64-bit edition) on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine and using Adobe Flash Player "Square" 10.3.162.28 ActiveX 64-bit.
Whenever I check my e-mail on Hotmail, I get the following error:
    Here are some problems:
    1. When I click on "SETTINGS," the dialogue box closes, nothing else happens, and the problem doesn't go away, even after I restart the browser.
    2. The same problem occurs even when I use the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer with the latest Adobe Flash Player.
    3. The problem appears to be caused by a sidebar ad on the Hotmail home page.
    4. I must use Hotmail.
    5. I must use Internet Explorer for various reasons.
I would like to not have this error box pop up all the time.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks...

OK, here's the workaround I found:
To fix the pop-up security error:
    1. Google "Adobe Flash Player Global Security Settings Panel". Here is the link I found:
    http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.htm l#117502
    2. Select "Always allow" from the settings panel.
    3. Close the browser and re-start it.
This may not be an ideal solution, but it has been extremely painful to have to close literally dozens -- if not a hundred -- error boxes that kept popping up every day while I check my e-mail.

  • Every time I update Firefox, I get Adobe Flash plugin errors

I'm disgusted with Firefox and Adobe. Does anyone have a fix for the problem that Firefox causes every time I upgrade? (Win 7, 64 bit I think) ... I just tried to re-install v29 Firefox (which was the last version that worked) ... and got routed to something called Aurora install.
I just want to use a reliable firefox. But whenever I upgrade Firefox, and repeatedly turn off ALL security features so that I can update Adobe flash -- nothing works. Once I get this solved, I'm turning off the Firefox update check option and continue to do all my secure stuff on Chrome! I used to be a huge fan of netscape ... but this is stupid beyond belief.
Here's the error message I get:
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.
    Script: resource://gre/modules/addons/XPIProvider.jsm -> jar:file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Mozilla%20Firefox/browser/extensions/%7B82AF8DCA-6DE9-405D-BD5E-43525BDAD38A%7D.xpi!/bootstrap.js -> resource://gre/modules/commonjs/toolkit/loader.js -> resource://gre/modules/commonjs/sdk/loader/sandbox.js -> resource://skype_ff_extension-at-jetpack/skype_ff_extension/data/jquery-2.1.0.min.js:26

... me again ... no need to respond to this problem, I'm just not going to keep wasting time on this browser. Realistically, the posts all over the internet show that Mozilla hasn't bothered addressing this issue for YEARS, and I'm just not interested in wasting any more time or interest in hoping that they will get their act together.
Good luck, former colleagues: I hope they treat you better in the future~!

  • Adobe flash script error

    Post Author: JSA
CA Forum: Xcelsius and Live Office
In trying to update a model I have updated many times before, I am running into an error message alerting me to a slow Adobe script and prompting me to abort the script, or ignore and continue.  The User Manual suggests that larger models may need additional processing time and to ignore the script and the model will eventually update. For me, when I ignore the script (having to close the error message as many as three times over a two minute period) Xcelsius crashes.
I have not gotten this error ever in the past, and now am geting it every time I update this model.  It has shut me down effectively. I even removed all data references and began rebuilding when I got the error again, even though I was not even trying to refresh the data source!  After the crash, I also get a "the referenced memory at XXXXX could not be read at 0x00000004" type of error. Also new error, and only shows up once Xcelsius crashes.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?  I would appreciate any help.  Perhaps this is an Adobe Flash compatibility issue?
    JSA

I also get the same error. It only pops up at s=certain times. I have on SWF in another that I call (from a HTML) when I get the error. However when I call the SWF from its own HTML i do nit get it at all. Another problem is that I sometimes get udefined lines and rows in my line charts.

  • How to avoid "App requires Adobe Flash." error message when Adobe Flash is already installed??!!

On my new Lenovo Yoga 3 PC laptop I am trying to install Kayak and Pandora apps but once these apps are downloaded, whenever I try to open them, an error message pops up saying: ADOBE FLASH REQUIRED. The Kayak (or Pandora) app requires Adobe Flash. Installation is free.  "Install" or "Not Now".
I have installed Adobe Flash 10 times and rebooted etc. but I still cannot use those apps because of this error message.
    This is driving me crazy.
I have checked to confirm that the newest version of Adobe Flash IS installed and working on my computer.
    What can I do?????
    Thank you.

Typically when software applications are using an embedded browser window that wants Flash, they're looking for the ActiveX version used in Internet Explorer.  If you've been installing Flash Player for Firefox, that's not going to help.
Fire up Internet Explorer, go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer and follow the prompts.  This should resolve the issue for you.
If you're already using Internet Explorer on a Windows 8 or higher machine, then Flash Player is already a built-in component of IE.  The problems you're running into may be specific to the intersection of those websites and Internet Explorer 11.  (IE11 makes a bunch of changes to how the browser is identified, which may ultimately cause the sites to fail to detect Flash.)  In that instance, the easiest workaround is probably to just use Google Chrome - http://www.google.com/chrome/ while we wait for the world to adjust to Internet Explorer's new approach.

  • Adobe Flash 9 errors

I am new to this entirely and have never had troubles with
Flash within Internet Explorer before. Since installing 9 I have
had an error pop up on some pages reguarding FL 9 which stops the
page, sends error report then closes IE 6. It seems to do it when I
make a change, like I am on MySpace and then if I click to go to
another portion then it errors. Sometimes when I test it by doing a
refresh it does it then as well, but not everytime.

    Abobe Flash 9

    Hi Keith,
It appears your user received a notification to update the outdated version of Flash Player.  Since you're users are non-Admin and Admin permissions are required to install, I recommend disabling notification auto-updates on the system and managing updates to your users via some other method.  To disable auto-updates, edit the mms.cfg file as follows:
    AutoUpdateDisable=1
    The file is located at:
    Win 32-bit: \Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash
    Win 64-bit: \Windows\SysWow64\Macromed\Flash
    OS X: /Library/Application Support/Macromedia
Note that disabling updates in this manner also disables background updates, if you have opted into background updates.  The Adobe Flash Player Administration Guide for Flash Player | Adobe Developer Connection contains several strategies for deploying and updating Flash Player outside of notification auto-updates.
11.9 is quite old and is not being updated with security releases, leaving your users vulnerable to security threats.  Unless there's a compelling reason to keep your users on 11.9, I highly recommend updating Flash Player to either the latest release (currently version 16) which receives regular feature updates, bug fixes, and security fixes; or the Extended Support Release (currently version 13) which receives only regular security updates, no feature updates or bug fixes.

Hello sunnyskoolof13, Below is some information on the brccmctl file you list. You must have a Brother printer of other Brother device.
brccmctl.exe is a process from Brother Industries, Ltd.. It can be found in the location of C:\Program Files\brother\controlcenter3.
brccmctl.exe is a potential security risk which can be modified maliciously by spyware.
brccmctl.exe should be disabled and removed, if it was attacked and brought you brccmctl.exe error.
Just go to the Control Panel, Programs and Features, ( if using Windows 7) If using Windows XP, go to Control Panel, Add and Remove Programs, and locate and remove this application.
If your Brother Device stops working, you may need to reinstall the application.
Please click the White Kudos star on the left, to say thanks.
Please mark Accept As Solution if it solves your problem.

  • Adobe Flash Script Error in Safari

I recently installed (like an idiot) a Font program used to load some fonts in Adobe Photoshop.  Not only did it not work at all, my computer has been going bonkers when streaming video now.
I'm no computer wiz, but I'm smart enough to know that whatever application I downloaded had also snuck in some annoying additional things.
First off, I keep getting these "Save Keep" ad's that pop up over videos that counts down from 10 before I can watch a video.
Furthermore, an error message pops up every minute or two saying "A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 9 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script? Yes/No"
I deleted the application, reinstalled silverlight, and the problem still persists.
Before I go messing with uninstalling and reinstalling adobe flash player, I thought I might consult some experts.
I feel like my computer is loaded with vestigial junk at this point, and I'd like for it to go back to the way it was.  Thank you.

    Klaus1:
You also asked if I had installed the latest update to iPlayer. I assume that you mean the Desktop iPlayer, but this is a whole different issue! When I first tried to download the movie using Desktop iPlayer I was presented with a button to install it. This surprised me as it was already installed, but maybe it was really just offering an update. As it wasn't optional, I clicked the button. It then tried to install AdobeAIR (which was already installed) and failed as it couldn't get permission to write to the disk.
I thought I'd make things simple and uninstalled AdobeAIR and Desktop iPlayer. I then tried to reinstall. Again it tried to install AdobeAIR and failed. So I tried downloading and installing AdobeAIR direct from Adobe. The installer loads into the dock but that's it. I've spent many hours trying to resolve this without success.
Hence I'm just trying to use the browser version of iPlayer.
I thought I'd get the Flash Player thing resolved first and then start another thread about AdobeAIR! I thought Adobe products were solid but I'm now seeing lot's of differing opinions on that.

  • Iweb 08: adobe flash player error messages and crashing when saving

Hi.   I switched not too long ago from an 08 Imac to a mid 2011 with Mountain Lion.    I brought the applications I could from the other computer, including Iweb 08.
today was the first time I tried to tweak my site with it.  I opened the old file on the new computer using this method:
    http://iwebfaq.org/site/iWeb_Transfer_Site.html
All seemed well at first.  Then I got a slew of error messages to the effect of "Adobe® Flash® Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation. The following local application on your computer or network: blah blah is trying to communicate with this internet-enabled loaction: blah blah blah".
My site is used to display my work in the video production field, so it's related to the various players/videos embedded.
In addition, when I tried to save after opening that first time, and any time, since, it crashes during the save.
Any ideas what's going on here?
Here're two of the pages on my site that were making iweb go nuts:
    http://videoproduction.joshbass.com/Videoproduction-_ENG_Interviews.html
    http://videoproduction.joshbass.com/Videoproduction-_Commercial.html
    Thanks.

Whether or not you use iWeb, you may be aware that things have changed. Since you're a professional, I assume the trade must have talked about it.
I'm not a professional, but I have read about it for the past few years.
Adobe Flash is on it's way out. Especially on Mobile devices, such as my iPad, where your movies do not display.
    Here's how I do it.
It started with this in Flash :
    http://www.wyodor.net/_Movies/rolando/
Then made this with the <embed> code 4 years ago :
    http://www.wyodor.net/Tutorials/ImageWidget/ClickMovie.html
And in a similar style, made for iPad :
    http://www.wyodor.net/mfi/cultureclub/Movies.html
Then HTML5 came along and made a sample with custom code to explain it :
    http://www.wyodor.net/_Demo/html5/HTML5Video.html
And with code from the Interwebs :
    http://www.wyodor.net/_Demo/html5/HTML5_Zencoder.html
    http://www.wyodor.net/_Movies/sublime/
And regarding the Adobe messages? It's not particular to your situation. It's a warning that you try to use Flash outside the protected area of a website.
You can either ignore it, or prevent it by making separate webpages for each flash video and then display them with an iframe in the HTML Snippet. The HTML5 demos above do that.
So the magic word is : Educate.

  • Adobe Flash 10 error: not registered

I attempted to download Adobe Flash 10 to watch and listen to a video and got an "error: not registered". Would anyone happen to know what caused this error and how to correct it?

Hi, The ActiveX Control is most likely the Shockwave Flash Object that is Installed for Internet Explorer only.
Firefox and other non-IE browsers use the plugin, the SWF. You should have that in your plugins and it must be Enabled.
    You can test here:  http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
Test with IE(if you have Flash Player Installed) and test using FF. Can you see the animation and it will also tell you what version of Flash Player you have Installed.

  • Creating a SDK (.swc) in Adobe Flash CS5 - Error + Best Practices Questions

    Hello all,
I'm currently developing a client library for a server-based API which is developed by my company.
The goal is for the .swc to be usable in both Flash and Flash Builder (any Actionscript environment, really).  So far I've just been creating it in Flash CS5 and have yet to test it in Flash Builder.  It contains a single piece of UI (a login window) but is intended to expose a number of actionscript classes as API interface points to the developer.  The login window is a single Movie Clip placed onto the stage.  I have been testing by simply running the Flash project for the SDK and it works well.
However, I run into problems when I attempt to use the SWC in other projects (I have the Flash project for the SDK set to create a SWC as well as a SWF)...
I link the SWC to the other project using the flash compiler settings
com.mycompany.SDK is a class required for initialization (singleton) and com.mycompany.LoginWindow is the UI window for logging in
The developer needs to call SDK.Initialize(), which seems to work fine
When the following code is added I get the below error: addChild(new LoginWindow())
1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: InstanceInfo.
I take it that the error is a result of an undefined class - but I cannot figure out where InstanceInfo (it is not a class of mine) is being used or how to fix this...

Found a good example that helped me figure this out.
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/flex/quickstart/articles/xml_prefs.html
Will share the results when complete.
    Thanks
