Hi, thanks for the screenshot. The Flash files for FF has the FlashUtil10a.exe and you need to right click on it and Remove or Delete that. This is a very old version of Flash Player and should have been removed when you used the Uninstaller.
As you can see you have the NPSWF32_FlashUtil.exe which shows in your screen shot is the correct version of 10.0.45.2. So their is a conflict as the Control is using the old one.
The FlashPlayer Trust is also old, I see it once in a while, but it is not needed either. Those users that have Removed it have had no ill affect. However, if you prefer to leave it, and after we clean up the other Files and still you are having problems, you can go back in and remove it.
The usual Flash Files for Firefox are: Flash.xpt, NPSWF32.dll, NPSWF32_FlashUtil.exe(current version), the install.log and the Uninstall_plug in.exe. Any other files are either old and conflict.
Now the last time I checked Mozilla/Firefox, they require that the DLM/getplus etc be used to Install. They are not needed to Install FP but Firefox requires it, so fine. However, the DLM/getplus/NOS, get_atlcom Class cause problems.
The DLM is a downloader and after downloading is supposed to disconnect, but many times do not. After you Remove/Delete that old Flash file mentioned above, we'll clean up the DLM, et al.
Thanks,

  • Adobe Flash Player Settings Problem

Hi I'm having problems selecting things inside of "Adobe
    Flash Player Settings."
When ever i right click on a flash instance, say a youtube
video and select settings, I get no response from box that appears
no matter where I click. Even when I click close I get no response.
I have a Mac Book Pro running os 10.4.11
I have the newest version of Flash Player 10
    I have Java 5
I have tried this in both Firefox and Safari
When I created a new account on my computer and opened
youtube i was able to change settings inside of panel.
Any help would be wonderful I have googled and searched these
forums a million times looking for help and have found nothing
    helpful

TWEAK DISCOVERED for Flash Player 10 to save local settings!!
    I was digging around in:
    ~/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash Player/www.macromedia.com/bin/fpupdatepl/
    and I discovered:
    Adobe Flash Player.pkg
If you Right Click (or Control + Click) the Package and then select 'Show Package Contents' this will open a new window.
    Then navigate to:
    Contents/Resources/
There you will find a file:
    Adobe Flash Player.info
Open this file with text edit (or your app of choice)
On about the fourth line from the bottom look for:
    OverwritePermissions NO
    Change this to:
    OverwritePermissions YES
    A NOTE OF CAUTION
I have not fully tested this change, but did find that after I modified the local settings for the Flash Player, then restarted Safari that the settings remained the same.
    Good Luck!

  • Flash player youtube problem

Ok guys, this one is a bit more complicated than it sounds. A while back I was using a older version of Fox, I think v 15.xxx and had flash player 11 or 12. When using youtube it looked great. But now I upgraded to the latest firefox and latest flash player. When I watch vids on youtube they look real blurry and pixelated until the 720 hd kicks in. And even then it doesn't look as good and with the older flash player. I checked and my nvidia card doesn't seem to have any effect on either program. Is this a legit problem and which flash player version should I switch back to??

    Hello,
Some problems with Flash video playback can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in your Flash Player settings. (See [[Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems|this article]] for more information on using the Flash plugin in Firefox).
To disable hardware acceleration in Flash Player:
#Go to this [http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues Adobe Flash Player Help page].
#Right-click on the Flash Player logo on that page.
#Click on '''Settings''' in the context menu. The Adobe Flash Player Settings screen will open.
    # Click on the icon at the bottom-left of the Adobe Flash Player Settings window to open the Display panel. <br/> <br/>[[Image:fpSettings1.PNG]] <br/>
    # Remove the check mark from '''Enable hardware acceleration'''.
    # Click '''Close''' to close the Adobe Flash Player Settings Window.
    # Restart Firefox.
This [http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/help01.html Flash Player Help - Display Settings page] has more information on Flash Player hardware acceleration, if you're interested.
Does this solve the problem? Let us know.

  • Adobe Flash Player 10 Problem.

Alright everyone, this issue has been bugging me for so damn LONG!!!!!
    The problem is:
I'm trying to make my Adobe Flash Player 10 to work in my Mozilla Firefox because a certain website is asking for my flash player to get updated to 10. I've both installed from the adobe download manager and the direct link, I've also got the ActiveX installed and it's updated and I've unistalled the previous versions, only the flash player 10 is installed. I'm running on a Windows XP and I have no idea how to fix this situation... it won't load whatsoever!
    Please would anyone help me.

Hi, "finally replying"? LOL, maybe I'm in a different time zone? Just to clarify, contrary to what some may think, I am not an Employee of Adobe nor Microsoft. I am just an end user as yourself, taking my time to help those that are having problems.
Since you stated that Adobe Flash Player is not working for you in either Internet Explorer or Firefox, then I am going to suggest to you a thread that has the latest instructions by a very knowledgeable person. He has helped many users on this forum.

  • Safari 6.0.2 and adobe flash player update problem

I am having problems installing the current version of adobe flash player.  Whenever I try and view a video from a site that requires it (eg. youtube, etc.), it says I need to update adobe flash player and sends me to a link to do so.  I've installed flash player "successfully" several times, deinstalled it and reinstalled it, re-downloaded it, but I'm always getting the message to update flash player.  Can anyone help with some suggestions to get this working corectly?
I am running osx 10.8.2 and safari 6.0.2.
    Thanks very much.  Ron

If you're sure you've installed the latest version of Flash, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test.
    1. If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, triple-click the line below to select it:
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins Right-click or control-click the highlighted text and select
    Services ▹ Open
from the contextual menu. A folder should open. If there is more than one item in the folder with the words "Flash Player" (not "flashplayer") in the name, open the respective Info windows, check the version numbers, and delete all except the latest. You may be prompted for your login password. If you get the same error after doing that, re-download and reinstall Flash. Download it from this page:
Adobe - Install Adobe Flash Player
Never download a Flash update from anywhere else.
    2. If you get a "missing plug-in" error, select
    Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
from the Safari menu bar and check the box marked Enable plug-ins.
    3. Select
    Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
from the Safari menu bar. If any extensions are installed, disable them.
    4. In the Safari preference window, select
Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
    Close the window. Then select
     ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Delete All. Close the preference pane.

  • After updating Adobe Flash, Firefox does not work

    I have Windows Vista.
I just recently downloaded Firefox and it had that bar at the top of the internet url saying to update Adobe Flash or that the Adobe Flash plug in doesn't work. So I clicked on that and it took me to the Firefox site with the raccoon, with a list of things I might need to update.
So I updates Adobe Flash to
    ActiveX: 11.4.402.278
    Plug-In Version: 11.4.402.278
After that Firefox will open to my homepage which is the most visited with thumbnails of websites. But when I choose one, enter a website in the url, or click a favorite it fails to load.
    What do I do now?

Thank you so much for responding to my question right away! You really helped me out. I've been so swamped in my school work and job I haven't had time to do anything else. Thanks alot for giving me a fast, straight to the point answer :) my problem is solved!

  • After I download Adobe Flash Player, YouTube still doesn't work. How do I fix this?

I just got my MacBook, and I want to watch YouTube videos. I installed Adobe Flash Player, but when I go to the videos, YouTube says that I still need to install Adobe Flash Player. I have done this multiple times, and nothing has happened. Thanks.

Go to Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility and select your volume and then select Repair Permissions.  Same directions are also in the OS Mac Help Menu.

  • Adobe Flash Player - Uninstall problem

I have a new HP Pavilion f0010 laptop.  Was having problems with videos being "green".  Did some online researching and somehow accidentally uninstalled Adobe Flash Player from control panel.  How do I reinstall this to original installation?  Thanks.

Just run the installer for the latest version of the Flash Player

  • Adobe flash player 9 problem

I have Adobe Flash Player 9 (Version 9,0,45,0) installed on
my computer but I keep getting the following error: A script in
this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 9 to run slowly. If it
continues to run your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want
    to abort the script?
Anybody else had this problem and what did you do to get rid
    of it?

I am having the same exact problem and I can't seem
to find any information on why it's happening. I can't do anything
that involves the flash player without getting that same error
message. I found a page that says to push the no button 3 times
within 15 second of when it appears but the error box takes so long
to even come up that 15 seconds goes by pretty easily. If anyone
has an idea of how to solve this problem I would really appreciate
    the advice.

  • Linux FC10 Adobe Flash 10 Print problem

    Hello,
    In Linux FC10, I cannot successfully print a Flash-document
on my Epson Stylus D120 Printer.
For instance, on the following site, with the right mouse
button, I am able to make a print the map.
    www.plattegronden.nl/bergenopzoom
Then you will see a map, which is an Adobe Flash Player 10
    document, which is installed:
    Name : flash-plugin
    Arch : i386
    Version : 10.0.22.87
The print copy is printed with big steps in a big speed, so
the result is a low resolution with black matrix points, and bad
    readable.
Trying to solve the problem, I did search more printer
    configurations, e.g. in
    http:////localhost:631/
    CUPS
    but not successfully.
Hoping the problem is clear and good understandable.
Many thanks in advance for each answer,

  • Adobe Flash CS4 export problems

I have created a soundboard in Adobe Flash CS4 which looks perfect and functions perfectly using the "enable simple buttons" command. But if I use "test movie" the soundboard opens in a test window, but the text is messed up on some of the buttons. Also, the little hand that shows up when hovering a button only shows up in areas around the edge of the buttons. Its as if the rectangular box I saw around the text during editing isn't acting transparent after export. So that's my dilemma after export. Missing text and problem with activating sounds.

Thank You for navigating me, please delete my topic, some administrator, or moderator. I already set it in the proprietary part...

  • Adobe Flash Player , Youtube help

So when I attempt to view a video on Youtube, Youtube keeps telling me that I need to update Adobe Flash Player, however i do have the recent the recent version. It is happeing on other websites that require you to watch videos like Blogtv. Could someone help me please!

I thought that screen shot was showing where the SWF(Shockwave Flash) was located, not the Flash Player itself. Maybe I'm mixed up on that. Following is what I do know:-)
Like in the PC, the Flash Player files are in the Flash folder. However the add on, an ActiveX Control for IE, is located in the browser add ons. This ActiveX Control works with the Flash Player files located in the Flash folder.
Now exactly where the Flash Player files in Mac are located, I don't know. It has the SWF plug-in that also works with the Flash Player files in the Mac. So I would think the SWF, would be in the browser??? If I knew more about the Mac, I'd be more help. Do you know where any other plug-ins that you have are? Quicktime, Real Player, etc? Well whereever those
plug-ins are that is where the SWF would be also.
Believe it or not I did help someone that had a Mac and I knew less than I do now, so you can imagine. Anyway, between the screenshots he sent me we finally figured it out.
I have one more person that installed the SWF sometime back. Will have to search on that, can't remember the name, but will.
Hope some of this is helpful.

  • Adobe Flash 9 Installation Problem

So....I just had problems doing an install a couple weeks ago and went and did the install repair thing someone on here suggested and that fixed that install, but now I'm having issues installing Adobe Flash 9.
It starts out by saying it has 13 things to download then gets down to 4 real fast, but then it thinks...and thinks some more...and doesn't stop. Does it just take a really long time? What can I do to fix it? I've left it for like 20 minutes and it still just sits on the screen saying it has 4 more to install.

    Hi Melime,
What are you using to download, and how, where?
When you get a chance, at least do this to eliminate a few things...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
Also, how much free space do you have on your HD?
