Adobe flash installation fails at 5%, can't install

Hi, i have a Mac running Yosemite and can't install flash player. I've tried the regular install, didn't work, says lost connection around the 30% mark. I ran the uninstall and tried the direct install (offline one) and it gets fails at 5%. I've even done a clean install and have rebooted several times. I'm out of ideas. thanks in advance for any help trying to resolve this issue.

Adobe Flash agreement missing so I can't install.

The Adobe program loads, and says click here to say you have read our agreement. and then offers a link to a url for the agreement. The agreement comes up blank, Firefox says "stopped"

I have an app that says I need Adobe Flash to use...can I install this?

I am trying to use Weight Watchers eTools and it says on my iPhone 4S that I need Adobe Flash. That's not possible, so I called the Apple Store and they told me to use Skyfire. I downloaded it, but it still won't work. Any suggestions???

There is no Flash player that is compatible with the iPhone.
Doesn't Weight Watchers have an app for the iPhone and if so, is the function you are trying to access not available with the Weight Watcher's iPhone app?

Adobe Reader installer fails to install.
Task Manager shows it's running, but nothing happens.
Can't run it again because error message says a copy is already running.

The subject line of this discussion is what is displayed when I go to try to install Adobe Flash. I have a Mac OS X 10.9.3. I had Flash downloaded for a while, but the last update wouldn't update. It would download, but then when I went to open it it would say "Retrieving Install" and the meter would remain at 0%. It never went a step beyond that. After trying many times, per the instructions of the website, I deleted Flash from my computer using the Adobe uninstaller downloaded from this site. Now that I am trying to reinstall Flash I keep getting the message "'Install Adobe Flash Player' is damaged and can't be opened. You should eject the disk image". What should I do from here? I would appreciate any help!

In your CC desktop application, click on Filters and Versions, and choose Previous Version. Now, go to Flash Professional and choose the version that you want to install.

thank you for getting back on this issue.
To answer your questions first:
- no, I have not posted this issue in the connect forums - I will do and point to this discussion
- Sameer, I have tested the webcam on the website you pointed out, it is not working with Firefox but it is working in Chrome
I also need to give you an update on the current versions I use:
Win 7 Pro (64bit) (all updates included)
Firefox 21.0
IE 10.0.9200.16576
Chrome 26.0.1410.64 m
Flash Player 11.7.700.202
Adobe Connect Addin 11.2 r261
I tested the webcam via FP with Firefox, IE and Chrome in the versions mentioned above. Only in Chrome I can run the WebCam on the www.testwebcam.com website. Once I start the adobe connect meeting and want to start the webcam the Connect Addin stops working with the popup as shown in post 3 of this discussion in all three browsers.
All components have been uninstalled and installed again (except for IE) for testing with no change in the result. I have also rolled back the computer to the system recovery point furthest back in time to see if any other installation might be the cause. But no luck either.
I am happy to post the logs but would need advise where to find these or how to retrieve.
