ADOBE FLASH not supportingGalaxy s3 any longer

Just found out that I will NOT be able to use my S 3 for my business Appointment system. ADOBE just made a recent change in their policy to NOT furnish FLASH to Samsung Galaxy s III. therefore, I can't use my appointment system. Does anyone know of a "Work-around" that I can use?

If you really want Flash do what mdram4x4 said.
Just to set the record straight, this decision by Adobe not only affects Samsung GS3, but all mobile phones. They are moving away from Flash and started with mobile phones. There is no evidence, but I think Apple's stance on NO FLASH for the iPhone put the nail in the coffin for Flash on mobile devices.

• Adobe Flash not working with Windows 8

I recently updated from Windows 7 to Windows 8. When I open up the app for Internet Explorer in Windows 8, it tells me that I have Adobe Flash Player installed, but if I try to see a video on YouTube, it tells me that I have to install Adobe Flash Player!!! If I go to Amazon Cloud Player, it tells me that I have to install Adobe Flash Player to upload any files to my cloud. All this while still using the app for Internet Explorer in Windows 8. (As I mentioned, I have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed version 11. something - I can't reember all the numbers that follow. I can't clear my cache or do any of the other things Adobe suggests, as none of the browsers now work in the Desktop - the only Browsers working are the IE and Google apps, and none of these two allow me to clear cache etc.) Any suggestions.? My computer I just bought 1 year ago and all worked well before upgrading to Windows 8. It is all so frustrating!!!!
Thanks to anyone who can help me.

Windows 8 comes with Flash Player preinstalled in Internet Explorer 10. Use Windows Update to update Flash Player to the latest version.
I do not have Windows 8 (and have no plans to ever have it), so I do not know any details.. Something I read around here is that you need to open IE from the desktop in order to have Flash working.

• How can I view the videos of adobe flash player that apple no longer support?

How can I view the videos from the internet and networking of adobe flash player that apple no longer support?

Flash Player version 10.1.102.64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users. However, this Flash version won't work for many videos on Facebook, YouTube and other sites. Adobe's latest version, 10.2.x or later, is only for Intel Macs. Adobe will not provide a newer Flash version for PPC Macs.
The message requesting that you download Adobe Flash Player takes you to Flash Player requiring an Intel processor. Doesn't work on a PowerPC processor. I found a hack, installed it & it works with Firefox, TenFourFox & Safari.
Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.

IE uses a different version of Flash than other browsers use. You need to install the Plugin version of Flash for Firefox.
1.Download the Flash setup file from here:
[http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe Adobe Flash - Plugin version].
Save it to your Desktop.
2. Close Firefox using File > Exit
then check the Task Manager > Processes tab to make sure '''firefox.exe''' is closed,
{XP: Ctrl+Alt+Del, Vista: Shift+Ctrl+ESC = Processes tab}
3. Then run the Flash setup file from your Desktop.

• Satellite C55-A-1PC purchased in November does not start up any longer

I bought this item from Amazon.de at the end of November and only had time to install MS Office 2010 as I already own a license for it and wanted to avoid purchasing the 2013 version. In anycase the notebook functioned normally afer that, but after Christmas, it could not be started any longer. When I turn it on, I can only enter my system password then it hangs for minutes before returning to the log on screen.
Can anyone help me out here? Amazon has advised me to send it back. But they can only return me the purchase price since they do not have this item on stock at the moment.
I've got 2 weeks to see if I can solve this problem.

Hi Xaver,
Thanks for the tip. But how do I get to the recovery menu when the notebook doesn't even start?
Anyway, after some thought, I have decided to end my misery and send it back.
I hardly had a chance to use it really, installed MS Office 2010, worked on a few emails, watched a DVD and Skyped (though the camera was much poorer than that on my Android tablet).
It would still be interesting if someone can tell me how this came about and how I can solve this if it came up again!!!
Thank you again for all your help!

• Adobe Flash not working on Windows 7 32 bit!?

"The specified module could not be found C:/Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Adobe Version Cue CS4/Client/4.0.0/VersionCue.DLL" is the message that comes up everytime I have Adobe Flash CS4 installed and right click near any file, just not in open programs. After right clicking and having this annoying message pop up, it restarts Windows Explorer. Whenever I uninstall the program everything's fine, however I want to use this product (free trial) but none of my downloads and installations of it (at least 5) have worked! I check for a VersionCue.DLL and I can't find it, also when I choose things like Action Scriptt 3.0 and 2.0 or any other selection at the start up menu, it freezes and quits! I can't run as Admin because the message constantly pops up! Please help!
PS: Sorry if this shouldn't be posted here guys, I'm frustrated and I need to post this somewhere where someone may answer me!

• Adobe Flash not working! Please help!

Alright so I was doing some clean up on my computer ( deleting old files and the like) and I guess what happened is that I thought I was deleting an old adobe photoshop thing ( which I no long have on my computer) and instead deleted something to do with my adobe flash player, because now I go to youtube or websites to game and I get the "update your flash player message". I've updated my flash player, I've tried installing adobe air, I've updated everything and I'm still getting this message. Can some one please tell me what I need to do so I can surf the web again? I have a Mac OS X Version 10.6.8
HELP GREATLY APPRIECIATED

You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS.
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/909/cpsid_90906.html
and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications (including Safari) first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.
After installing, reboot your Mac and relaunch Safari, then in Safari Preferences/Security enable ‘Allow Plugins’.

• Adobe Flash Not Useable After Install

I have Windows 7 Home Premium and IE 11. Have been using Jackie Lawson greeting card app for years. Recently, when I try to access a greeting card within this app, it tells me that I need to install Adobe Flash. After I reinstall Adobe Flash, the same thing happens. I have tried installing Adobe Flash many times including with IE not running and with another app that uses Adobe Flash terminated during the install. I have also uninstalled Adobe Flash prior to beginning the process, but nothing seems to work. Here is the last entry from FlashInstall.log:

• Adobe Flash not working with OS X 10.9.4

I have a Macbook pro with OS X 10.9.4 . For some reason Adobe Flash is not working even though is is properly installed and updated. I tried uninstalling Flash and then reinstalling it. It still does not work. Whenever I am on a site that requires Flash for a video it just tells me that I do not have it. I recently removed some adware and Malware from my computer so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it. Any suggestions?

Using Safari ?
If so, from your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Security tab.
Select: Allow Plug-ins
If Allow Plug-ins was already selected troubleshoot Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, from your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Not empty the Safari cache.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
Now try a video.

• Norton IS & Adobe Flash not compatible with FF5. Why release new version without compatability?

JEEZ! Your own feedback site doesn't work.
Norton & Adobe Flash are not working with Firefox 5. Yes, I selected "Other Browsers". Before you release a new version, please be sure essentials are compatible. It's a major pain to lose access to these.

You won't get any response from Apple when you submit feedback, and in any case Apple almost never explains the rationale behind their decisions. All you can do is provide your comments to them.

Ama102486, welcome to the forum.
Sometimes a glitch will occur when a program is installed. I suggest uninstalling Adobe Flash and downloading the latest version for Win 8 and reinstall it. Many times this a simple solution.

• Adobe flash not working (installed)

I'm currently on OS X 10.8.2. I don't know how this happened but yesterday all videos on youtube started showing as "Blocked plug-in". So naturally I clicked the link to download the newest version of the adobe flash player, but even after it says "finished" when I go back to youtube the same thing happens again. I have then uninstalled and reinstalled for quite a few times, checked my Safari Prefrences (enabled plug-ins), and there are no extra plug in files. I have no idea why this is happening, so any help will be nice. Oh, and when I go to Flash Player Help it says my flash player is either not installed or enabled. But even if I follow all the steps stated it stills stay the exact same thing. Thanks in advance.

I'm currently on OS X 10.8.2.
Use Software Update or the OS 10.8.5 combo update to update your OS. Also, update everything SU has to offer for your computer. When done, repair permissions and restart your computer.
