Adobe Flash Player 10 ActionScript Error

Lately I've been getting an error on Adobe that's stalling my AIM from working. It pops up as an actionscript error with the following;
SecurityError: Error #2060: Security sandbox violation: ExternalInterface caller http://cdn.eyewonder.com/100125/760649/1204318/DM_rich_234x60.swf cannot access http://at.atwola.com/adiframe/3.0/5113.1/221794/0/-1/size=234x60;noperf=1;alias=93302169;c fp=1;noaddonpl=y;kvmn=93302169;target=_blank;aduho=300;grp=137077271;misc=137077271.

at DM_rich_234x60_fla::MainTimeline/frame1()
Is there anything I can do about this? It gives me the options to Dismiss All, Continue, or close the window. It only seems to be affecting AIM. I've tried reinstalling but that didn't fix anything.

Looks like the ads loaded by the AIM program is causing this problem. What is the version for your Flash in IE? go here to check: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html

  • Adobe Flash Player Actionscript errors

I keep getting these pop up error messages.  I did some research and see that my computer (new) may be running the "debugging" version.  As Adobe Flash Player is embedded in Windows 8.1 (to which I am a new user of), I can't figure out how to change this.  Any assistance would be appreciated.  I am also having issues with green screen videos (audio works) that will go away for a period of time upon restarting computer.  I have worked with HP tech support many times with no lasting solution.  Again, thank you for any assistance.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

  • Adobe Flash Player 10 Errors (Safari and Games)

    Hello,
Sometimes, when watching Flash videos on YouTube or other sites that have flash videos embedded, Adobe Flash Player 10 errors come up with the option to either 'Dismiss All' or 'Continue' is provided. Sometimes, Safari crashes and I have to relaunch when I choose either option, but sometimes the video keeps playing when I press either button and nothing happens.
Usually, this problem hasn't been affecting me but I recently got the Sims 3 and when I'm at the Game Launcher window, before I can click the play button, this Flash Error pops up. When I click Dismiss All/Continue, the game says I am running an unauthorized version and there will be limited features. Then the game quits. This only happens sometimes but is quite annoying.
    The error that occurred was:
    +Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2036: Load Never Completed.+
Can someone help me out here?
Do I need to reinstall the Flash plugin or Flash CS4?
    Thanks!

    Hi
Yes, a reinstall of Flash would be a good start. First, uninstall Flash. You can get the uninstaller here.
Next, install the latest version of Flash.
Once the installation is complete, via the Finder: Applications>Utilities folder. Open Disk Utility, select your HD on the left, then "repair permissions".
When complete, restart the computer, then try Flash in Safari.

  • Adobe Flash Player 10 Error Message

About four days ago, I started getting this error message in a dialog box. It appears even with nothing open that would even require a need for Flash. I removed Adobe Flash Player 10 and rebooted, then added it back. The problem continues however.
Win-XP/SP3 fully patched and Malware free.
"A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 10 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?  Yes / No.
Checking either option only gets rid of the pop-up for a few minutes.

    BruceIB

I have just recently resolved my Flash Player issue.
My suggestion to all who have troubles with Slowing down players or error messages (like I was getting) is very similar to what has been suggested by Meln long ago.For windows machines- I don't know  mac fix. but this might work.
    1. remove/uninstall flash player from your system. ALL BROWSERS
    2. reboot your system
    3. goto the adobe site for flash player and have it check that you in fact DO NOT have flash player installed.
    4. download the latest version of flash player and let it IMMEDIATELY do the install.
    5. reboot
    6. check how flash player works. If it is buggy and slow or kicking up errrors/messages go back to step 1. repeat this cycle as many times as necessary.
    some notes:
Be careful when doing the install -DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE FLASH DEBUGGING VERSION- it will kick up errors galore.
Make certain you do noting else during the install and remove processes. You are problem solving -not being productive, so  just wait it out patiently.
I know some will say, why would i remove, download and install multiple times - once should either work or not work.
OH how I wish this were true for funky software issues. There is some glitchy thing going on and where exactly it happens is anyones guess, or it would have been fixed. Without rhyme or reason one time though it will just work. when it does do a system restore point and put GOOD FLASH PLAYER as the note. after you do this fix you will know why you want a quick way back to this point.- you don't want to do it again.
i know this sounds stupid but after trying for months to "fix" my issue this is what worked on multiple PCs i had that had the issue(s) slowing down and messages.

Close all Firefox windows before you run the installer.

  • Adobe Flash Player Popup Error

Hello! I was in the process of typing a message to a friend (via Facebook Messenger) and concluded it with a ":P". However, when I did, a little Adobe Flash Player Error stating "'p' is not a valid integer value" popped up, and now I can't get it to go away! A new window appears every three to four seconds, along with a rather obnoxious little *ding*. Myself, having little-to-no experience with computers, has no idea what to do to resolve this (I.E. restarting the computer didn't help). I honestly don't know how to fix this issue, and it is excruciatingly annoying. Please and thank you for anyone who can help me out!

  • Adobe Flash Player Script Error: Script Running Slowly

Hello everyone. I have a problem with my laptop when going on to certain websites. When I go one of the websites with a script error, I get a message that a script error is causing my Adobe Flash Player to run slowly, and that if it continues to run the computer may become unresponsive, and it asks if I want to stop running the script or something. I don't know what to do with it. Help!
I am running a Windows 7 laptop with a Internet Explorer 8 (I think) and Google Chrome (Both IE and Google Chrome have the same problem), and also Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX.
    [ email signature removed - see http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-3731 ]

I would suggest you update your flash.  You are running flash 10 and the latest is flash 15.
Download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash for IE.

"Failed to register" indicates a permission problem in the Windows registry.

  • Problems with Adobe Flash Player 1001 error

I cannot get the latest adobe flash player to install.  It downloads a "helper file".  I save the file, go to the download location, right-click on the file, select run as administrator, and it appears to start.  But it never gets past the first adobe screen.  I enlisted the help of another person who directed me to look at windows logs and I discovered the 1001 error.  When I look for that error, I see that there is something that does not exist!
I have tried various means of going about this, always ending up at this same place.  It would appear that your installer is very broken!!

    Use the offline installers
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

  • Cant download Adobe flash player (download error 228)

when i try to download flash player and after i click Allow a message appears that says:
    cant download because error 228
i read the posted threads about this problem but non of the solutions worked
flash player is working well on IE 8
    i'm using windows 7
    firefox 3.6.3
i tried to disable all the addons i have and to turn off firewall
    but it didn't work

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3

That -228 error message is for the Get AdobePlus extension that isn't even needed and has been the cause of problems for some users.
    1. You need to use Firefox at the Adobe website to get the NPAPI version of Flash for non-IE browsers.
Download the Flash plugin from the Adobe [http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/thankyou/ Thank You!] page via:
'''If it does not start, [http://www.adobe.com/go/fptroubleshoot click here] for troubleshooting information.'''
On the [http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/support/index.html troubleshooting page] click the link at the bottom:
If you are still having problems, [http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe click here to download].
    Save it to your Desktop.
    2. Close Firefox using File > Exit
then check the Task Manager > Processes tab to make sure '''firefox.exe''' is closed,
    3. Then run the Flash setup file from your Desktop.
    * On Vista and Windows 7 you may need to run the plugin installer as Administrator by starting the installer via the right-click context menu if you do not get an UAC prompt to ask for permission to continue (i.e nothing seems to happen).

  • "Alternate HTML content should be placed here. This content requires the Adobe Flash Player." Error

I used to make Flex 3 applications until yesterday. Today I can't and I don't know why (was it Windows Update!?). I have the latest Flash Player Debug version installed. If I launch IE normally, I can see any type of flash content on the web:
This is the error I get when I launch or try to debug any application made in Flex 3:
I can't use that IE instance to view any kind of Flash content on the web:
I've used Google and I found some results in the Adobe forums from people who had the same problem none of the solutions apply to my case ._____.
    EDIT:
I can use Google Chrome to preview my Flex applications but the debugger doesn't work >___>

It looks like my problem was that I had 2 versions of IE. The 32 bits version works and the 64 bits don't. That explains why different instances of IE got two distinct results. I just had to go to Flex preferences -> General -> Web Browser and add the 32 bits version of IE to the list of external browsers and use it.
