Adobe Flash Player 10 Error

Every time I browse the web and there's some sort of piece of flash I get a window with a bunch of junk and then it tells me dismiss all, and usually ends up crashing Safari. I recently installed the newest Adobe CS4 Design Premium Suite and was wondering if that might have anything to do with it. If not is anyone else experiencing this, and if so how to you fix it?

I am beginning to think it is Mac version 10.5.7. That is about when my problems started as well. But, now that I have messed with everything, I don't think there is any turning back without making a bigger mess. Happens all the time. Mac makes some changes and there are bugs galore for a while till things get resolved. I noticed that if I went over to Netscape, I could see the clips I needed to see. So, I will switch back and forth between Safari and Netscape till the problem gets resolved through either Adobe or Mac. Not much else one can do.

  • Can't install Adobe Flash player ERROR. Please help

    I tried to download the update of Adobe Flash Player BUT every time I try to download it... Look at the screen shot. ERROR.
    Please help me I am really happy if someone here can help me.

    Hello,
    The log file indicates there are permissions issues on a couple of files and they are not being removed.  This is preventing the installation of the new version.  Please run the uninstaller, posted here Uninstall Flash Player | Windows, and post an updated FlashInstall.log file, and a screenshot of the files remaining in the /Macromed/Flash directory after running the uninstaller.  Please only run the uninstaller and do not attempt to re-install at this time.
    Thank you.

  • Hotmail ad is causing Adobe Flash Player error (REVISED)

    Hi,
    This is an updated version of my question (see original question posted here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/874194)
    I'm now using Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421 (32-bit edition) on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine and using Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.34.
    In my original question, I was receiving the following error. I am still receiving the following error. Whenever I check my e-mail on Hotmail, I get the following error:
    Here are some problems:
    1. When I click on "SETTINGS," the dialogue box closes, nothing else happens, and the problem doesn't go away, even after I restart the browser.
    2. I also tried using the 64-bit version of Internet Explorer and Adobe Flash Player Square (beta) and received the same error.
    3. The problem appears to be caused by a sidebar ad on the Hotmail home page.
    4. I must use Hotmail.
    5. I must use Internet Explorer for various reasons.
    I would like to not have this error box pop up all the time.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi, I wasn't sure if that would make a difference or not. I'll see if I can find the Hotmail contact info for you.
    Actually, I wouldn't want to prohibit Flash Player from putting this warning up. There is a reason and it is for your Security. As far as that Setting not working, that in my opinion is a good thing. Re-read what that Setting does. Why would that URL/ad site need to communicate with the Internet? For what purpose? Trojans like to communicate with the Internet too:-)
    You nor I have no idea what this site is all about or even up to. I'd be very careful with this until I knew more about it.
    I would run a full scan with your Anti-Virus and then I would report this URL and the circumstances to them.
    My problem is that this URL was flagged and that it wants to communicate with the Internet. Now I've seen hundreds of ads and have not received anything like that message with that wording.
    Let me know and I'll get back to you with some Hotmail info.
    Thanks,
    eidnolb

  • Hotmail ad is causing Adobe Flash Player error...need a fix or workaround

    Hi,
    I'm using Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421 (64-bit edition) on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine and using Adobe Flash Player "Square" 10.3.162.28 ActiveX 64-bit.
    Whenever I check my e-mail on Hotmail, I get the following error:
    Here are some problems:
    1. When I click on "SETTINGS," the dialogue box closes, nothing else happens, and the problem doesn't go away, even after I restart the browser.
    2. The same problem occurs even when I use the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer with the latest Adobe Flash Player.
    3. The problem appears to be caused by a sidebar ad on the Hotmail home page.
    4. I must use Hotmail.
    5. I must use Internet Explorer for various reasons.
    I would like to not have this error box pop up all the time.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks...

    OK, here's the workaround I found:
    To fix the pop-up security error:
    1. Google "Adobe Flash Player Global Security Settings Panel". Here is the link I found:
    http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.htm l#117502
    2. Select "Always allow" from the settings panel.
    3. Close the browser and re-start it.
    This may not be an ideal solution, but it has been extremely painful to have to close literally dozens -- if not a hundred -- error boxes that kept popping up every day while I check my e-mail.

    Hello sunnyskoolof13, Below is some information on the brccmctl file you list. You must have a Brother printer of other Brother device.
    brccmctl.exe is a process from Brother Industries, Ltd.. It can be found in the location of C:\Program Files\brother\controlcenter3.
    brccmctl.exe is a potential security risk which can be modified maliciously by spyware.
    brccmctl.exe should be disabled and removed, if it was attacked and brought you brccmctl.exe error.
    Just go to the Control Panel, Programs and Features, ( if using Windows 7) If using Windows XP, go to Control Panel, Add and Remove Programs, and locate and remove this application.
    If your Brother Device stops working, you may need to reinstall the application.
    Please click the White Kudos star on the left, to say thanks.
    Please mark Accept As Solution if it solves your problem.

  • Iweb 08: adobe flash player error messages and crashing when saving

    Hi.   I switched not too long ago from an 08 Imac to a mid 2011 with Mountain Lion.    I brought the applications I could from the other computer, including Iweb 08.
    today was the first time I tried to tweak my site with it.  I opened the old file on the new computer using this method:
    http://iwebfaq.org/site/iWeb_Transfer_Site.html
    All seemed well at first.  Then I got a slew of error messages to the effect of "Adobe® Flash® Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation. The following local application on your computer or network: blah blah is trying to communicate with this internet-enabled loaction: blah blah blah".
    My site is used to display my work in the video production field, so it's related to the various players/videos embedded.
    In addition, when I tried to save after opening that first time, and any time, since, it crashes during the save.
    Any ideas what's going on here?
    Here're two of the pages on my site that were making iweb go nuts:
    http://videoproduction.joshbass.com/Videoproduction-_ENG_Interviews.html
    http://videoproduction.joshbass.com/Videoproduction-_Commercial.html
    Thanks.

    Whether or not you use iWeb, you may be aware that things have changed. Since you're a professional, I assume the trade must have talked about it.
    I'm not a professional, but I have read about it for the past few years.
    Adobe Flash is on it's way out. Especially on Mobile devices, such as my iPad, where your movies do not display.
    Here's how I do it.
    It started with this in Flash :
    http://www.wyodor.net/_Movies/rolando/
    Then made this with the <embed> code 4 years ago :
    http://www.wyodor.net/Tutorials/ImageWidget/ClickMovie.html
    And in a similar style, made for iPad :
    http://www.wyodor.net/mfi/cultureclub/Movies.html
    Then HTML5 came along and made a sample with custom code to explain it :
    http://www.wyodor.net/_Demo/html5/HTML5Video.html
    And with code from the Interwebs :
    http://www.wyodor.net/_Demo/html5/HTML5_Zencoder.html
    http://www.wyodor.net/_Movies/sublime/
    And regarding the Adobe messages? It's not particular to your situation. It's a warning that you try to use Flash outside the protected area of a website.
    You can either ignore it, or prevent it by making separate webpages for each flash video and then display them with an iframe in the HTML Snippet. The HTML5 demos above do that.
    So the magic word is : Educate.

  • Adl Error : Adobe Flash Player error: could not load cURL library

    Hi people,
    I am trying to get this code working --
    var loader;
    $(function() {
    loader = new air.HTMLLoader();
    loader.addEventListener(air.Event.COMPLETE, complete);
    loader.load(new air.URLRequest('http://www.lilpirate.net/blog'));                         });
    function complete() {
    $(loader.window.document).ready(function(){
    $("#texts").val($("#header",loader.window.document).val());
    alert("Complete!");                                 });
    I get the Complete! alert message, but the textarea with id texts is not updated with the data in #header which is on http://www.lilpirate.net/blog
    I think this is happening because of the error message adl is throwing.
    I'm running Fedora 13 x64 and have installed flash player correctly(firefox test). I also have libcurl and libcurl devel packages installed.

    I'm getting the same problem. No explaination of why, and
    downgrading all my security to DANGEROUSLY unsafe levels doesn't
    help, nor does setting anything in the settings app. (Have you ever
    used a slower application?)
    I did find (using a Google search) a blog that pointed me to
    the article located at this address:
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=13530cdd
    I don't know yet if it will help, but it appears to be on the
    right track.
    Good luck.

  • I continually get an Adobe Flash Player error #1009.

    If some out there can assist me with this issue I would really appreciate it.  I have spent hours with HP IT and they tell me that the issue is resolved, but an hour later it is back.  The error message states "Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.

  • Can't install adobe flash player, error message says cannot contact a reliable source

    Everytime I try to download it, it gets to about 7% and then the error message says cannot contact reliable source. I used the adobe uninstaller to uninstall the previous versions, but no luck. I've tried locating hidden files but couldn't find any. Any suggestions?

    Did you repair permissions and restarted your computer prior to re-installing?
    Where did you download the flash player from?

  • Adobe Flash Player error during update from 10.0.45 to 10.1

    I am getting this error message during the upgrade from 10.0 to 10.1 and it errors with the following error:
    Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or Package vendor. Action NewCustomAction1, location: ...\installAX.exe, com...
    since this has happened, it has already removed the previous version of flash and will not allow me to reinstall the new or old version so now I have no version of flash.
    Has anyone else seen this?  I have only 1 solutionn right now which is to reimage the PC.

    Uninstall your current FP first; use the uninstaller from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html, then download the installer(s)
    for Internet Explorer http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe
    for all other browsers http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe
    Download all the above executables to disk, then close all browser windows and run the downloaded uninstaller, followed by the installer(s).

  • Adobe Flash Player Popup Error

    Hello! I was in the process of typing a message to a friend (via Facebook Messenger) and concluded it with a ":P". However, when I did, a little Adobe Flash Player Error stating "'p' is not a valid integer value" popped up, and now I can't get it to go away! A new window appears every three to four seconds, along with a rather obnoxious little *ding*. Myself, having little-to-no experience with computers, has no idea what to do to resolve this (I.E. restarting the computer didn't help). I honestly don't know how to fix this issue, and it is excruciatingly annoying. Please and thank you for anyone who can help me out!

  • What are the possible reasons for adobe flash player crashing constantly?

    I utilize mixcloud, soundcloud,and podomatic on a daily basis, and recently have been having problems getting these three to play.  I'm not certain if there is a clash between the various plug-ins within my mozilla firefox browser.  The error messages that I have been receiving sometimes acknowledge the problem as a adobe flash player error, a shockwave flash player error, and sometimes as a flash blocker being enable in my browser, which keeps me from receiving any audio playback and the music from downloading onto the page. I'm constantly being asked to reload the page, or request a crash report. Has anyone encounter this problem?  Help!

    Uninstall BOTH Flash Player and Shockwave using the Control panel.
    Reinstall both using Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
    and http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/
    Reboot
    In Firefox, click Tools>Addons
    Check to be sure BOTH plugins are enabled and the LATEST version

  • Adobe Flash Player 10 Error Message

    About four days ago, I started getting this error message in a dialog box. It appears even with nothing open that would even require a need for Flash. I removed Adobe Flash Player 10 and rebooted, then added it back. The problem continues however.
    Win-XP/SP3 fully patched and Malware free.
    "A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 10 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?  Yes / No.
    Checking either option only gets rid of the pop-up for a few minutes.

    I have just recently resolved my Flash Player issue.
    My suggestion to all who have troubles with Slowing down players or error messages (like I was getting) is very similar to what has been suggested by Meln long ago.For windows machines- I don't know  mac fix. but this might work.
    1. remove/uninstall flash player from your system. ALL BROWSERS
    2. reboot your system
    3. goto the adobe site for flash player and have it check that you in fact DO NOT have flash player installed.
    4. download the latest version of flash player and let it IMMEDIATELY do the install.
    5. reboot
    6. check how flash player works. If it is buggy and slow or kicking up errrors/messages go back to step 1. repeat this cycle as many times as necessary.
    some notes:
    Be careful when doing the install -DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE FLASH DEBUGGING VERSION- it will kick up errors galore.
    Make certain you do noting else during the install and remove processes. You are problem solving -not being productive, so  just wait it out patiently.
    I know some will say, why would i remove, download and install multiple times - once should either work or not work.
    OH how I wish this were true for funky software issues. There is some glitchy thing going on and where exactly it happens is anyones guess, or it would have been fixed. Without rhyme or reason one time though it will just work. when it does do a system restore point and put GOOD FLASH PLAYER as the note. after you do this fix you will know why you want a quick way back to this point.- you don't want to do it again.
    i know this sounds stupid but after trying for months to "fix" my issue this is what worked on multiple PCs i had that had the issue(s) slowing down and messages.

  • Premiere Elements 11 Shared Technologies error DW020 Adobe Flash Player 10 plug in missing.

         I am unable to complete the install of Adobe Premiere Elements 11 on my Windows7 Pro 64 bit system.  When the installation process gets to installing Shared Technologies I get an error message "The installation process has encountered an error while installing Shared Technologies.  Please restart your system and try again."  Restarting the system gives the same result again.  The download assistant program identifies two errors: DW050--Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX: Install failed, and DW020: Adobe Flash CS5.5 depends on Adobe Flash Player 10 plugin to be installed.
         My system currently has Adobe Flash player 11.7.700.224 installed.  I can find a download of Adobe Flash Player 10 but where do I put it?  Do I need to uninstall Adobe Flash Player 11.7... ?  Is there another solution?

         This install problem seems to be solved.  I uninstalled every Adobe program, but still couldn't get past the Shared Technologies issue.  Then I went to C://Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Adobe/ and deleted all recent folders & files.  This seemed to do it.  Both Premiere Elements 11 and Photoshop Elements completed installation.  Now on to figuring out how to force Windows7 64 bit to run these programs in 32 bit simulation mode.
