Adobe Flash Player 10 often locks the page when ads are moving, only in the Firefox browser.

If I for example want to download from www.mediafire.com the page comes up, then the Adobe Flash Player 10 puts up a warning box (before the ads appear in the window) and tells about an Action-script Error:
SecurityError: Error #2060: Misuse of the security sandbox: ExternalInterface-caller http://cdn.mediafire.com/helper.swf has not entrance to http://www.mediafire.com/?vb3ky92o1vc8s58.

If I answer "Continue" the ads come up and I can procede. If not, all will be locked and I have to start the Firefox from the beginning. If I click on some link before saying continue all will be locked as well.

Same thing here. I updated Flash to 10,2,153,1 installed and cannot load Flash apps like Facebook Scrabble using FF4.0
I reverted back to FF3.6.16 and it works fine.

There is something wrong with the download that Adobe is pointing too. You can get the working download here:

I see two problems when trying to download a new version of Flash Player from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/. .
1. Your Web server is sniffing for my browser. I select the "Download now" button, and I get the same page all over again. The navigation is looping. If I spoof Firefox 6.0.2, however, I do get a download. This means you are sniffing for "Firefox" when you should be sniffing for "Gecko".
2. While spoofing Firefox, the download gives me install_flashplayer10_chrd_aih.exe, which is not the installer for Flash Player 10.3.183.10. Instead, it is some kind of helper. To get the correct installer file, I had to search my archives to find the URI http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win /install_flash_player_10.exe.
Both of these problems were previously cited in this forum at http://forums.adobe.com/message/3885371. Neither problem has been fixed.

Flash Player is no longer supported on OS X 10.5.8. The last version to support OS X 10.5.8 is Flash Player 10.3. Flash Player 10.3 is available for download from this page: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html.

Iweb 08: adobe flash player error messages and crashing when saving

Hi.   I switched not too long ago from an 08 Imac to a mid 2011 with Mountain Lion.    I brought the applications I could from the other computer, including Iweb 08.
today was the first time I tried to tweak my site with it. I opened the old file on the new computer using this method:

All seemed well at first. Then I got a slew of error messages to the effect of "Adobe® Flash® Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation. The following local application on your computer or network: blah blah is trying to communicate with this internet-enabled loaction: blah blah blah".
My site is used to display my work in the video production field, so it's related to the various players/videos embedded.
In addition, when I tried to save after opening that first time, and any time, since, it crashes during the save.
Any ideas what's going on here?

Whether or not you use iWeb, you may be aware that things have changed. Since you're a professional, I assume the trade must have talked about it.
I'm not a professional, but I have read about it for the past few years.
Adobe Flash is on it's way out. Especially on Mobile devices, such as my iPad, where your movies do not display.
Here's how I do it.
It started with this in Flash :

And regarding the Adobe messages? It's not particular to your situation. It's a warning that you try to use Flash outside the protected area of a website.
You can either ignore it, or prevent it by making separate webpages for each flash video and then display them with an iframe in the HTML Snippet. The HTML5 demos above do that.
So the magic word is : Educate.

Why would I have to download latest verison adobe flash player twice in one day when I already had?

   I play a game called Castville and I play on Zynga.com on mozilla firefox. About a week ago after
going into and playing castlville dozens of times I got a message saying I needed to download the latest verison of adobe flash even though I just downloaded it with no message or problem just moments before. I had to leave and then went back in that is when I saw the message about the download. The problem was I had to download it twice in one day one right after the other. I downloaded and I still had the same message well I downloaded again but I should have never had to download it all since it was already oin my computer now there are problems with the game and at the bottom of the screen I see
on occaison the abode flash sign flash or perhaps flicker once or twice and this it. Since I downloaded it twice abode had been crashing I get this picture of a plug in unplugged and a line above that says that I have to reloaded the game. Adobe flash player will not install. When asked to install missing plug ins, nothing comes up.

I go to install adobe flash player and nothing comes up. Firefox says I need to install missing plug ins, but when I go to install the missing plug ins, nothing comes up. Says something about doing it manually. I don't know what that is.

I downloaded the latest version of adobe flash player 2 versions loaded and now it's very slow and the wheel keeps spinning

"Adobe Flash Player Settings" appears on page, unable to click "allow"- Help!

I'm on an language educational website that is powered by Adobe Flash. There is a feature on the site where you talk, and the website's microphone records you. This Flash Player issue is giving me fits, so I'm hoping one of you might have experienced this before. Websites visited on this tablet do not recognize Adobe Flash Player. Well, I'm using Internet Explorer 9. What gives? I've attempted to uninstall and reinstall of Flash player. No luck. ActiveX Filtering is off. Shockwave Flash Object add-on is Enabled. I've ran some updated antivirus and found a bunch of signatures, but I removed right away. (Malwarebytes, Spybot S&D)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’m about ready to nuke the hard drive and start over.

Thank you for the reply. Sorry if I wasn't clear on my earlier post. That is correct, the page was incorrectly detecting the browser as Opera. I was using IE9. It was very strange.
I corrected it performing a Windows System restore from the previous month.

This is my first post to the forum. I've been directed here because I'm having issues with video streaming/playback (in particular, YouTube) on the Safari and Firefox browsers on my Mac. First, a little bit of information:
My computer:
I have a 2012 iMac with a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 processor, 32 GB of memory and a 3TB Apple "Fusion" solid state hard drive. The software version my Mac is currently running is 10.9.4, on the Mavericks OS, as shown in the subject box.
My Issue:
I've noticed, in the past week or so, that video streaming and playback, on YouTube in particular, are either (a) slow or (b) not loading whatsoever. In YouTube, three things become apparent almost immediately: (1) the video (advert or no advert) simply does not load, with a black screen that turns into a grainy screen after a while with the message "An Error Occurred;" (2) the suggested videos on the side panel (i.e., to the right) do not load properly. The thumbnails of the videos simply do not load; and finally, (3) the comments also appear to experience issues from loading. I've attached screenshots to document this.
N.B. Comments do appear, along with the side panel thumbnails once YouTube has given up on trying to load the video
So, What have I done about it?
Everything I can do, to be honest. I've:
(1) Checked preferences in Safari (i.e., plugins are installed correctly)
(2) Cleared Cache in Safari
(3) Deleted "All Site Data and Settings" in the Flash Player section of my System Preferences
(4) Uninstalled Adobe Flash Player completely
(5) Reinstalled Adobe Flash Player
(6) Contacted Apple
(7) Checked Preferences in Safari again (i.e., plugins are installed correctly)
(8) Cleared Cache in Safari again
(9) Reset Safari
(10) Deleted "All Site Data and Settings" in the Flash Player section of my System Preferences
(11) Uninstalled Adobe Flash Player
(12) Undertook a "Clean Install" of Adobe Flash Player, following instructions
And alas, I'm in the forum! May I also add, that I have also scanned my hard drive for any corruption that may be present, generating a negative result. I just do not know what to do at this stage. I've done everything I have knowledge of in trying to resolve this issue.
ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

YouTube plays fine in browser, but a number of websites - wired.com - for one keep showing the brick prompting to download adobe flash player plugin. following instructions from adobe both auto and manual install. every time the downloaded binary, or the larger .exe file are launched it freezes and does not respond.

Adobe flash player often crashes when I load several videos/adds/etc at the same time, and has done so since out of process plugins were released.

It seems to only happen when I open/reload pages with flash content (But not while they are running), and especially if I open more than one tab. Reloading all (Often 20+) tabs == certain crash.

Can you get the plugin crash reports? Go to the address '''about:crashes''' and tell us your latest crash IDs. We can then look at the data specific to your crash and have a better idea of what is causing the problem.
